Chris pulled a chair out for me taking my hand as I slowly sat down and I smiled up at him and he pressed his lips on mine and beamed as he sat next to me.

"Y/N hi!" I turned round and saw Scarlett and Lizzie approach me and beamed as they both hugged me.

"Hi ladies it's been too long,"

"It has we heard about your news look at you congratulations," Lizzie said referring to my bump.

I smiled at them both "Thank you,"

They sat next to us on the table and Scarlett leaned on the table grinning "So how long until this one arrives?"

"Two more months and we still feel like there's a million things to do," Chris chuckled caressing my hand.

I gave a small smile slowly zoning out the conversation feeling like the world was dimming and shining a spotlight of what was torturing me in my mind.

I jumped to attention when everyone started clapping and saw Sebastian making his way through the crowd with his wife and I calmly clapped keeping my gaze away from his.

As everyone was seated I glanced up and Sebastian's eyes were fixed on mine.

I had tuned out the sound of the conversation around the table. Myself and Chris had been invited to Sebastian's place with his girlfriend for dinner and not to be rude but the moment this girl opened her mouth I did not give a shit.

"Y/N do you want more wine?"

I snapped to attention at Sebastian's voice and nodded "Yes please thanks Seb,"

I was not drunk enough for this.

He beamed and poured more wine into my glass and I cleared my throat pushing my glasses up adjusting myself in my seat.

"So anyway we have some news," his girlfriend perked up.

Ok time to tune back into I don't give a fuck FM blah blah lalalalala "-engaged,"

I froze and felt my heart drop.

"What?"

She beamed showing the sparkling ring on her finger and it took every last piece of strength to force a smile "Oh my god that's amazing congratulations!" I squealed.

We all exchanged hugs and laughs and I nudged Chris "I'm just gonna go bathroom honey,"

"Ok sweetheart,"

I made my way to the bathroom locking the door and I let myself fall to the floor feeling my eyes burn and I covered my mouth with the crook of my arm to silence the sobs being released.

"How's your food Y/N?" Chris asked as I poked my salmon around my plate.

I shook my head slightly "Oh yeah well they asked me to fill in my dinner choices before I was pregnant and sadly salmon made it to the shortlist of foods that no longer taste good along with not being able to drink,"

I really needed to be drunk right now.

He rubbed my back "Not long now honey, once the baby's here I'm getting you a giant bottle of champagne,"

I gave a small smile "Thank you honey,"

After a while the speeches began and eventually it was Sebastian's turn to speak and I held my breath.
