I shufled to the living room where Ash was sitting doing some drawing and ruffled his hair "Hi sweetie you ok?" I asked rubbing my stomach.

"Yes mommy, I drew all of us there's me, Sebastian, Lena, you our future sister,"

I smiled down at the little stick figures "Oh they look amazing honey very realistic, I bet your new sister will look as pretty as you've drawn her," I slowly bent down to kiss his head.

Ash looked up and poked my giant bump "Mommy how they gonna get her out?"

I sat on the arm of the couch "Well what happens is the doctor waves his magic wand and WOOOSH she appears,"

Ash laughed "No he doesn't,"

"And how do you know smarty pants? Is there a baby inside that belly of yours?" I grinned tickling his tummy making him scream laughing.

He hugged my bump making me smile "I can't wait to meet her mommy,"

I grinned "Me too sweetheart, you're gonna take on a lot of responsibility now you're a big brother, you ready for that?"

Ash nodded kissing my bump "Yes mommy,"

I beamed "You'll always be mamas special boy,"

There was a pause where I took in Ash hugging my bump, he was the last remnants of his dad and it for a second it was almost like his dad was the one who was happy and excited for this next stage for us. Just like he was before Ash was born.

I suddenly felt a popping sensation inside me and Ash jumped back looking at my legs "MOMMYS PEED HERSELF!"

I sighed rubbing my forehead looking at the fluid down my leg "I didn't pee sweetheart,"

I heard running footsteps echo round the house and Lena and Sebastian emerged though the doorway.

"Mom you okay?" Lena exclaimed rubbing my back.

"Did your water break honey?" Sebastian asked looking down at my mess.

"Yes and yes," I murmured feeling mildly annoyed I ruined the carpet.

"Is it time to go? Do you need me to get your things?" Sebastian asked.

I shook my head "No not until contractions start,"

"Do you need a drink mom?"

"Honey sit down,"

"What do you need mom? Just tell me and I'll get it for you,"

"It's gonna be okay honey just breathe,"

"Oh both of you calm down!" I snapped sitting on the couch rubbing my temples.

"This is the third time I've done this and it's okay," I murmured.

I looked round at my family who still seemed somewhat on edge.

"Ok, Lena take your brother upstairs put some cartoons on for him and you get my hospital bag triple check that checklist for me so we are ready, Ash sweetheart whilst you're up there I want you to write a nice letter for the baby so we can read it to her when she's here, Sebastian get a towel to help me clean up and you can stay down here for moral support when the show soon begins, now go troops go!"

Everyone immediately rushed out the room and I let out a sigh of relief as I sat back in the chair.

Sebastian rushed back in armed with a towel and started cleaning up my leg under my dress "You sure you're okay honey? You're not just putting on a brave face for the kids?"
