Luz Pov

I had almost finished my run when I decided to run past the town and grab Amity some coffee. As I was running I slammed into somebody, I quickly regained my balance and extended my hand to the unknown person, I noticed long blue hair and realised I had run into Lilith "oh shoot I'm so sorry Lilly, I didn't see you." She smiled softly as she took my hand and stood up "its ok Luz I wasn't paying attention either, I was actually wondering if you had seen Edalyn or Amity?" I nodded "yeah Amity's at the owl house and Eda and King have been out for like four days I think, she didn't say where she was going." Lilith sighed before looking back at me "classic Edalyn dissaperaing into the unknown, do you mind telling her that I need to see her when she gets back, and the young blight is with you?" I nodded my face blushing "ahhh I see, keep her safe Luz." I saluted at her as she laughed and walked away. I ran towards the coffee shop opening the door and enjoying the cool air of the shop. "Oh hey Luz, two of the usuals?" I smiled and nodded at Drake who took my snails and pointed towards the waiting area. I felt my scroll buzz, I looked at the name "Amity <3" I smiled opening the message. It was a photo of Amity in the kitchen with a waffle mix, she was in her uniform but she had my flannel over the top, I couldn't help but smile at my girlfriend wearing my clothes. Underneath there was a message "I'm making waffles be home in 25 please I miss you, its sad waking up to an empty bed <3." I did always feel guilty getting up but working out kept me sane and relaxed. "Noceda" I looked up as the barista handed me the two coffees. I had taken it easy today, I walked for most of my so called run because my stomach still hurt and Amity would end my life, i looked down at my wrapped hand, Amity was gonna need to rewrap it before school.

I walked towards the owl house "LUZ YOU'RE BACK I MISSED YOU!" Hooty yelled at me, I winced slightly at the sound of Hootys voice. I smiled at the demon as I walked through the house, the smell of waffles instantly hit me and I felt my stomach grumble. I wandered into the kitchen leaning against the bench "titans Luz don't sneak up on me like that." Amity jumped back but sweetly smiled at me, she walked forward and gave me a sweet kiss before pulling away fast "oh titan please shower Luz, breakfast won't be done for another 10 and ill chuck your coffee in the fridge. Thank you for the coffee love that was sweet of you." I smiled as I ran up the stairs grabbing my uniform which Amity had laid out on the neatly made bed. I undressed looking at myself, there was a huge bruise on my stomach, I touched it and I winced in pain, getting into fights was not me anymore. I stepped into the shower letting the warm water cascade over me, I didn't want to go to school purely because of the fight yesterday but Amity was excited to go and I wasn't gonna not because that girl is my girl.

I ran downstairs being greeted by two fresh waffles on my plate and Amity on her scroll, I sat down and started to eat as fast as I could, I was famished. "Did you run today Luz? Oh I need to rewrap your hand, ill be back." I watched Amity walk out of the room and upstairs, I sipped my coffee as my phone buzzed I looked at the name and saw Bella was calling me "hey Bells whats cracking?" "You better not be forgetting about me Noceda, I know you're all loved up with your new boo but remember your coming to my fight this weekend." I chuckled at Bella she knows I would never forget "ah Bella I would never forget, also Amity is coming because ya know she's my gf and all and I want her to meet mom." I heard Bella gasp through the phone "Luz your bringing someone home to Camilla, remember James?" I groaned remember my mother questioning him like he was on trial for murder or something "please don't remind me, she loves Amity, I showed her all of the photos and please my mother was upset I was considering dating a man." I chuckled as Bella sighed "I know and I'm excited to meet her, ill see you in a few days Luz, I love you." "Love you too Bells" I hung up the phone putting it on the table. This was Bellas second fight and after the first one she didn't look to good and especially after the robbery I was really wondering how she was gonna go, for Christ's sake she had a broken nose and rib she was gonna be in so much pain. I placed my head in my hands sighing loudly "you ok Luz?" I looked up to see Amity standing with the medical bag in her hands "yeah sorry its just this weekend is Bellas second fight and I'm worried." Amity looked at me her deep golden eyes welcoming and comforting. She started to rebandgaed my hand "so who is this James?" I looked at her seeing her smirk at me as she bandaged my hand, "this guy I went on like three dates with, he was super ugly but look he had green hair and it made me think of you." Amity giggled as I blushed red "you're cute noceda." She placed a light kiss on my bandaged hand and then on my lips.

I walked hand in hand with Amity, she was telling me all about the kids she tutored at the library, I was going to help this afternoon but also study with her because I needed the extra help. "Hey Luz do you mind if we keep us kinda quite, I just am not the biggest fan of attention. I'm fine with PDA just not actively telling people we are together." I Looked at Amity and smiled, I kissed her lightly on the lips causing her to laugh "of course mlady I'm just happy you're mine." She playfully hit my arm as she took my hand in hers and dragged me into school. As we walked I couldnt help my stare at her, I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking and I tripped over something and smacked into the floor. "Really Boscha?" I rolled over on my back to see Amity, Boscha, willow and Gus laughing at the me on the floor," well Am's if your girlfriend wasn't so obsessed with you she would've see my foot." I laughed grabbing Amitys arm pulling myself up "not my fault she's attractive Bosch." Amity turned a deep red and Boscha gagged "ugh get a room, anyways Am we have maths come on." I gave Amity a quick kiss as she wandered off with Boscha "Luz you have to tell us everything." I turned to willow and instantly told her all about my wild evening.

Maths was the only subject I had no friends in, I really hated maths and not having anyone to distract me was irritating. "Luz do you know the answer." I looked up at my maths teacher, because of my human schooling I was way ahead in maths and the most advanced class was still to easy "yeah its 43 degrees to the x axis." She smiled and wrote the answer on the black board. She handed out some worksheets that took me a solid 10 minutes to finish. After I finished I decided I would just doodle, maybe I could draw something for Amity. "Thats really good Luz." I dropped my pen and turned to the person talking, it was Skara standing next to me "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you, uh class is over and you were so engrossed in your drawing." I chuckled and started packing my stuff up "I haven't seen you around much." She smiled "yeah since the old group disbanded I've been with a different crowd, you remember Jerbo and Viney." I laughed remembering those days of the detention track "well I hang with them and the twins now, but I didn't know you were in my class, we can sit together if you would like?" I smiled and nodded as we walked out the door "ill see you round Noceda." She waved as she walked away. Skara was always the nicest of the group that was until I turned Amity into a sweetie. I couldn't really remember where the cafeteria was but I hopped I was walking the right way "shut the fuck up Skara, did you get what I asked for." I felt my breathe hitch in my throat, I remembered that voice. alador.

I ran as fast as I could my stomach aching, I had to find Amity, I was smacking into people but I didn't care I had to find Amity. I scolded myself for not listening to Amity's directions, I couldn't help but wonder what he wanted from Skara, I needed to talk to her but I needed to find Amity. I stumbled falling into the cafeteria, I was happy I found my way but I was more worried. I made eye contact with Amity and I ran towards her "titans Luz are you ok why are you running." I inhaled deeply grabbing Amity and slinging her over my shoulder. I started running and didn't stop I needed to get to the blight manor "LUZ WHATS HAPPENING?" I ran ignoring her constant questioning. Soon enough we were in front of the Blight manor, I slammed my fist into the door. Odalia opened the door looking at me "Luz whats wrong, is Amity ok?" Amity groaned as I put her down "he's back ms Blight." I watched the colour drain from her face as she turned to Amity whose mouth hung open.
