*Crime Scene/Near a Club*

Hank, Ana, and Hailey arrived after the two Sergeants got a call from Jay. They walked towards the red tape, finding the male Detective standing in front of it and looking over the area.

"Hey." Ana greeted once they were close enough and Jay turned around. "What's going on?"

"Female victim. Two GSWs-"

"No, Jay. What's going on, meaning, what the Hell are you doing here?" Hank inquired, snappily, interrupting the younger man in the process.

"All right, so I was here, working a CI." He answered a bit hesitantly.

"What CI?" Ana wondered as both she and her husband grew a little suspicious of their Detective.

"Camila Vega, from the Veil Club." Jay revealed, glancing between his bosses and his partner.

"The girl from the kidnapping case?" Hailey asked in disbelief, looking over at Hank with wide eyes. "Luis' sister?"

"News to me." The older man shrugged. "She on paper?"

"No." Jay shook his head.

"Was the victim at the party?" Ana inquired.

"Yeah, I believe so." He nodded.

"You believe so." Hank scoffed, catching a whiff of alcohol on Jay's breath. "You've been drinking. Anything else?"

"Just drinking." The Detective assured.

"Okay, go back to the office. Don't talk to anyone and write up your IPR." Ana ordered, watching him walk off.

"Okay, work the body. We'll talk to homicide." Hank instructed, turning to Hailey.

"Copy." The blonde replied and everyone went their separate ways.

*District 21: Break Room*

"Did you write up that IPR?" Ana inquired as she walked in with Hank at her side and they caught sight of Jay over by the coffee pot.

He nodded and grabbed some papers off the table, sliding them over to her. She picked the sheets up and scanned them, humming when she finished.

The Detective watched her put the papers back down before taking a deep breath and turning his gaze to Hank. The older man just stared at him, silently asking one simple question.

"I was working her as an unwitting." Jay explained with a sigh, recieving a grunt in reply. "She works at Veil. A lot of drugs move through that place. She told me about the party. I saw an opportunity. But you're absolutely right. I should've put her on paper first. I. . . screwed up." He confessed, looking down and shaking his head before meeting the male Sergeant's dark eyes once more.

"Bluejay, be honest with me." Ana sighed. "Are you sleeping with her?"

"No." He assured, shaking his head and the brunette used a part of her blank mask to conceal the flash of hurt that ran through her.

Hank stared at the Detective for a long while before speaking.

"Okay. Document it. Start working the case." He instructed, continuing when Jay looked at him in confusion. "You're already working the girl. May as well stay under. Figure out who killed this young woman, right?

"Alright." The Detective muttered, exited the break room.

Once he was gone, Ana dropped her mask.
