*District 21: Bullpen*
Ana waited for Hank to finish writing something down and hang up the phone before walking out of the Office.
"All right, listen up. Atwater's gun lead went south, but we got something else." She reported.
"There's two wanna-be gangbangers out in the wind looking to do something stupid. It's initiation day for the Three Corner Kings." The older man explained from right behind his wife.
"Ah, man, with Peña back in charge that's not good." Antonio remarked.
"He's only been on the streets for three months. He's already good for six homicides." Jay added.
"So let's get these kids off the street and fast." Ana ordered, stopping in the middle of the large area while Hank continued onwards. "Invent a charge if you have to."
"Hey." He called, turning to Kim, who'd stood up from her desk and shrugged her jacket on.
"Yeah?" She wondered.
"Get a BOLO out on that car." Hank instructed. "Late-model silver Caprice. That's the partial plate Atwater got."
Kim immediately began radioing out the information while the two Sergeants headed back to their Office.
*Abandoned Warehouse/Crime Scene*
"Looks like they dragged her inside, raped her." Hailey informed, grimly, leading her bosses to where a young woman's bloodied face was peaking out of a black bag.
The blonde, Jay, Antonio, and Kim had traced the silver Caprice to this location and found the body while searching the building.
"This is Peña's new initiation ritual, rape and kill women?" Hank asked in shock and disbelief.
"No, this is a sexual predator's way of pleasuring himself and getting a release." Ana corrected in disgust, speaking from her numerous years at SVU.
"Yeah, control the people, control the territory." Antonio agreed.
"She's just a kid." The brunette muttered, crouching by the body. "She can't be more than 17."
"Right. Talk to your CI, get the names of those two pledges. Fast." Hank ordered, feeling an anger brewing deep within him at the monsters who did this to the poor girl.
Hailey and Antonio nodded before leaving the room. The two Sergeants went to do the same, taking a few steps out when another voice chimed in.
"Hey, guys." Adam called from a few feet away. "So patrol located the Caprice about ten blocks away but it's been torched."
"Who's it registered to?" Ana inquired.
"A Michael Landry. Male, black, 54. It was reported stolen last week." He replied.
Hank released a thoughtful grunt and Kim appeared beside Adam
"Found this by the door. Charm bracelet." She informed, quietly, handing the bag to the older man.
He released another grunt, looking down at the evidence bag in his hands with an unreadable expression. Well, unreadable to everyone but Ana who placed a hand on his shoulder in comfort. She immediately removed it, however, and stiffened as an unfamiliar voice spoke up from behind them.
"Hank."
"Hey." He greeted, shaking the other man's hand while Ana moved out of the way and hid slightly behind her husband.
"Thanks for doing this."
"Guys, this is Detective Scott Hart." Hank introduced. "Area Central Homicide. Good police."
