*Firehouse 51: Common Room*
Ana was seated at the long table with a hand covering her mouth, trying not to laugh as Mouch and Herrmann started bickering over by the kitchen area.
"What's the big deal, man? Just do me this favor." The former begged, pulling a dish he called a cinnamon roll casserole out of the oven.
"I'm not live tweeting a three-minute conversation. It's a three-minute conversation." The latter cried from the other side of the counter, waving his hands around and shaking his head in an exasperated manner. "Local access, Mouch, I mean, who do you propose is going to be tuning in for these live tweets?"
"What are you doing here?" Mouch wondered, spotting Antonio walking in before he could reply to Herrmann. "I thought PD was having their own viewing party. No offence, Ana. She's on in 30 minutes!"
"None taken." The brunette murmured, gazing at the Detective in concern.
"As much as I love Trudy. I'm here for Eva." Antonio sighed. "You guys seen her?"
"Down there with Gabby. Third door on the left." Ana smiled, understanding completely.
The Detective gave her a grateful nod and disappeared down the hallway.
*A Little While Later*
All of 51's occupants were now strewn about in various places around the room. Ana was still in the same place as before, except now she had Matt sitting in front of her and Kelly behind. They were all making idle chatter when Mouch suddenly ran over and hopped onto the couch.
"Oh, ooh, ooh! Shh!" He hissed, grabbing the remote and turning volume up. "There she is!"
"Betty's sitting down to discuss the new friendly face of the Chicago PD with Sergeant Trudy Platt." A female announcer proclaimed. "Betty."
"Yes, cause that's totally a friendly face." Kelly snickered at the stern but uncomfortable look on the Desk Sergeant's face.
"Thank you, Sheri. I'm so excited to be here today with Sergeant Trudy Platt from the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department. Thank you for coming!" Betty smiled.
"She couldn't hate this any more, could she?" Matt smirked.
Kelly's amusement had faded slightly when the playful slap to the the arm he was expecting never came. It disappeared completely when the male Captain didn't receive one either. The Lieutenant pulled his gaze away from the TV to look at Ana and found her leaning forwards. Although Kelly couldn't see her face, the way her small figure was tensed up told him that something was extremely wrong.
"Hey, Ana, you okay?" He wondered grabbing everyone else's attention in the process and Matt glanced behind himself, seeing what the other man did.
"Thank you so much for coming this morning. It's my pleasure. I'm hap- I'm happy to be here." Trudy assured.
"Bad feeling." The brunette muttered, voicing what she'd felt the second she saw her best female friend on the screen.
That got them all on high alert and everyone, even Chief, turned back to the TV, now as tense as the brunette.
". . .in the neighborhoods that they serve. Combating crime problems together along with. . ." Trudy's explanation trailed off as a shrill, rapid, beeping suddenly appeared. "Is everything okay?"
