The Wild Orchid

Chapter 6

               Meanwhile on the far side of Ireland, the IRA (Irish Rebel Army) were fighting a battle of their own. The IRA was starting to crumble. Those loyal to it turned traitors and started to attack the IRA. Total chaos and mutiny rang throughout the Irish Rebel Army. In desperation Captain Phoenix O' Reilly sent a plea of help to The Wild Orchid. He was light fae standing 6ft 5in, black hair, blue eyes and very muscular. He was a wolf also referred to as a wolf shifter. 

                     His telegram went as follows: 

            "Katherine I need your help. The Light fae are in serious danger. Dark fae are hunting and killing light fae. By the time you receive this I will already be dead. For the sake of the light fae, send help.

                                 Sincerely, 
                     Captain Phoenix O' Reilly"

        Shortly after it was sent he was killed.

             Back at The Wild Orchid headquarters Katherine received the telegram. Once she read the telegram she called for Kelcey, Phalen, and Gabby. When they entered her office they noticed Katherine was distraught. Kelcey's instincts kicked in and she rushed over to Katherine and grabbed her. She held her tightly in her arms and asked, "Babe what's wrong?" Katherine calmed herself slightly and replied, "Do you remember me mentioning a Captain O'Reilly? Well this telegram is from him. Please listen to this: 

               "Katherine I need your help. The Light fae are in serious danger. Dark fae are hunting and killing light fae. By the time you receive this I will already be dead. For the sake of the light fae, send help."

                        Captain Phoenix O' Reilly"

                Once she was done reading it Kelcey said, "Hun wasn't he your best friend since you were children? What can we do to help?" Katherine shook her head yes then replied, "I need you three to go where he was and investigate. When you find him plz bring his body back here for a proper burial. They would never expect you three especially you Phalen."

                   Back at the far side of Ireland the battle rages on. Two bold and brave rebels appear at the scene of the battle. One named Conner Allen and the other named Riley Allen. They are twin brothers. They stand 6ft tall, tanned, dark hair, and eyes to match. They are very muscularly built. They looked right then left. Conner spotted something near by. When he got to it he exclaimed, "Riley over here quick." When Riley approached his brother's side his eyes went red with rage. He then stated, "It's the Captain. When I find whoever did this to him, I'm going to rip their fucking heart out of their chest. Then while it's beating in my hand I'm going to shove it down their throat." "We need to find out who did this." Conner stated infuriated. With their blind rage increasing they started to slaughter all in their paths.

                 They looked left and noticed three figures coming into view. When they saw them approaching they opened fire on them. While they were distracted by the figures they neglected to pay attention behind them. Out of no where Baine Jacobson leader of the dark fae, snuck up behind Riley. When he was within reach of him he stabbed him with a double edged athame. When Conner realized this he attempted to attack Baine. Baine then pistol whips Conner. The last thing the brothers remember before blacking out was three beautiful women coming to their aid. When Phalen, Kelcey, and Gabby reach their side Gabby immediately started to stich them up.

                 When Phalen sees their injuries her anger spikes to being infuriated. While gabby is working on the twins Phalen takes off after Baine. Kelcey notices this and yells, "Phalen don't he'll kill you!" Phalen ignores her sister. When they look up they see Phalen engaged in combat with Bane. Kelcey watches in pure terror as Phalen slices Baine open putting him on the ground. Then without warning Baine gets up, counters Phalen's next attack and he stabs her in the ribs. After stabbing her he vanishes. Kelcey watches in horror as Phalen grabs her side. Then she collapses to the ground. When Kelcey realized he was gone she takes off at a hard sprint to her sister. When she gets to her she notices that her sister is laying in a pool of blood. Kelcey puts her sisters head in her lap while applying pressure to the wound to try to stop the bleeding, and yells to Gabrielle, "You need to get Katherine now!"
