Chapter 25

                    The next morning Phalen and Gabby were woken up by the smell of breakfast cooking and coffee brewing. So they got up and put some sweat pants and tank tops on. Then they headed downstairs. When they entered their kitchen they found Phoenix and Sassy cooking breakfast. Gabby and Phalen then say, "Good morning Mom and Dad. Did you guys stay over lastnight?" Sassy replies, "No we didn't. We stole Kelcey's key. We wanted to make you guys breakfast to celebrate your home." Phalen smiles at her mother as she states, "We have keys made for you and Dad. We just didn't get a chance to give them to you." As Phalen was saying that she handed their keys to them.

                   Phalen had paused while handing Sassy and Phoenix their keys. During the pause Gabby asks, "Are Autumn and Sam still sleeping?" Phoenix turns to face them. Once he's facing them he replies, "Yes they are. We heard about the dilemma with Sam. The whole her wanting to become Fae." Phalen groans while saying, "Don't remind me. Still trying to figure out who the donor or donors are going to be." Gabby states, "Kat wants to do it. Phalen on the other hand doesn't think it's a good idea. She's extremely concerned about the entire concept. I honestly don't blame her. I remember what that shit was like. It was excruciatingly painful."

                    After a few minutes Phoenix replies, "Phalen why don't you and Autumn be the donors?" Phalen looks at Phoenix as she states, "Crazy father say what now?" When Phoenix went to repeat what he said Phalen cuts him off before he could by saying, "I heard you the first time. You didn't stutter or I would have heard you twice. You support this insanity?" Once Phalen was finished speaking, Phoenix replies, "It was done for Gabby. Why shouldn't it be done for Sam?" Gabby then interjects, "That was completely different. I was actually born Fae not human. Therefore, I already had some fae DNA. There's no guarantee that it'll take. Your talking about changing an actual human with no fae DNA, and making them fae. That could become problematic. It could also be dangerous and could cause death. You're talking about legitimately rewriting the persons genetic make up. Not to mention the donor or donors would have to be willing to do it. Autumn hasn't even been asked yet."

                Once Gabby was finished speaking silence fell over the room. During the silence only Autumn entered the room. When she entered the room she grabbed breakfast, coffee, and then joined them at the table. Once she was seated at the table Phalen asked, "How'd you sleep?" Autumn smiled then responded, "I slept like a fucking baby. I haven't slept that good in a long time. Thank you Phalen and Gabby for giving me a break from the craziness of the club." They smiled as they stated, "No problem. Anytime. You're always welcome in our home."

                  After that Phoenix spoke up. What he said was, "Autumn how would you feel about being a donor with Phalen to make Sam fae?" Autumn looked at Phalen and replied, "Wait, that insanity is actually being considered? How bad is this going to get or be?" Phoenix states, "For you and Phalen not to bad. For Sam on the other hand, it's going to most likely hurt like a son of a bitch." Before anyone could respond Sam walked in the kitchen. Gabby then asks, "Good morning. How did you sleep?" She also grabs breakfast, coffee, and then joins them at the table. Once Sam is seated she replies, "I haven't gotten sleep like that in a while. I slept like a baby." That's when everyone started laughing because she said exactly what Autumn had said.

                   While they had breakfast and coffee they all just chatted. Once everyone was finished eating Phalen says, "Mom, dad do you mind staying here with Sam while Autumn, Gabby, and myself go speak with Kat." Sassy replies, "Not at all." With that Phalen, Gabby, and Autumn went and showered then dressed. After the trio was ready they headed over to headquarters. They went to headquarters in style in the dune buggies. Once they got to headquarters the trio went straight to Kat's office together.
