Chapter 24

                   Two weeks had passed since the Grand Opening of both the nightclub and the restaurant. It had also been two weeks since Phalen had received the personal invitation to participate in the underground illegal fights. Phalen's jaw was now completely healed. Gabby and Phalen were in their room discussing how they were going to go about the fights. That's when a knock came at their door. When they answered it Kat was standing there. She smiled at them both then asked, "Have you gotten any further leads on Michelle yet?" Phalen replies, "Not yet but we're going to go check in with Autumn to see if she has anymore leads on Michelle. Kat we'll find and rescue her."

                 Just as Kat was about to walk away Gabby states, "Phalen and Autumn have signed a treaty with one another. So the ground work has been set for an official alliance to be formed." Kat's only response was a smile. When they returned to the couch after shutting the door and locking it they finished discussing their plan of attack for the underground fights. Ironically the personal invitation was a key on a chain. Once they squared their plan away they headed to the Inn to see Sassy.

                When they arrived Sassy was behind the bar. Phalen and Gabby approached as they said, "Hey Mom. Already busy as fuck we see." Sassy smiled at them while stating, "Yeah just a little bit. I don't mind." With that they took their favorite seat and got some food. When they finished eating they stopped in to see Phoenix and then went to see Autumn.

                  As they walked in Autumn was nowhere to be seen. Panic stricken, Phalen calls out, "Autumn are you here? Autumn where are you? Please answer me if your ok." Just then Autumn came around the corner. Both Gabby and Phalen sigh in relief to see her. Autumn smiles at them while saying, "You two ok? Awwww you do care. The new locks only automatically unlock for you guys and myself. Once inside they automatically relock. New security system." Phalen smirks while stating, "Autumn your an asshole you know this right. Yes we care. You're our friend. We worry about you and yours." When Phalen was done speaking they all laughed together.

                After they were all done laughing a few minutes had passed. Gabby then spoke up, "Autumn I hope you aren't here alone. Remember what you promised." Autumn then whistles and her entire pack comes down from the clubhouse. Autumn smiles, "Is that enough muscle for you two?" They all pay their respects then return to the clubhouse. Phalen shakes her head, and smiles, as she replies, "Absolutely Autumn it is." They all began laughing together again. Through laughter Autumn asks, "What can I get the two of you?" Phalen and Gabby both decided to order a Blue Moon each. Then they sat at the bar.

                Once they received their beer Phalen says, "I'll be going into the fights in three days. Have you found out anything new? Kat's kinda starting to get on my ass about it." Autumn replies, "We checked it out again last night. It completely appeared to be empty. I'm thinking they're being more cautious now. I'll keep a few scouts on the place out of sight. If I learn anything new you two will be the first to know. I promise." Gabby then states, "Thank you Autumn. We really appreciate the assistance." Before Autumn can answer Gabby in walks Rayne and Rogue. When Phalen sees them she says, "What on earth are you two doing here? You two barely get out anymore." Rayne smiles while replying, "Autumn hired us as security so you don't have to do it alone Captain."

                 After a few moments Autumn speaks up, "Phalen I took your advice. You told me to hire more people for this place. So Rayne and Rogue are now security for me. They came in to get the complete tour of this place." Gabby and Phalen just smiled while shaking their heads. Gabby then says, "So how's this going to work?" Rogue smiles at Gabby as she replies, "Well Commander I'm going to be working the door while Rayne keeps an eye on the dance floor and what not. Captain your still kind of the bouncer. You still get the complete honor to fuck up and throw the assholes out when you're here." They all just began laughing.
