Two months had passed since Gabby's genetic modifications had started. The process was slowly becoming less painful for Gabby. Every genetic transfusion became easier and easier. The genetic transfusions were removing all traces of human genetics and making the genetics pure fae. Phalen would transform into her wolf in confinement and then was let out. When let out she would then be let into Gabby's room. By the third month of Phalen transforming by the full moon, Phoenix decided to teach her how to transform by her own accord.
After an extreme and lengthy amount of months (roughly 6 months), Gabby's genetic modification from human to fae was finally complete. Unfortunately her final day was the same night as the full moon. It was going to be her first full moon since the genetic modification transfusions had begun. Roughly around mid afternoon to early evening, Phoenix and Kat stopped in to check on Gabby. Phalen and Sassy however, had been by her bedside day in and day out. The only time Sassy left Gabby's bedside was when she was at the Inn. Once she got home from the Inn she was back at bedside.
When Phoenix and Kat entered the room they said in unison, "How you feelin sweetie?" Gabby smiled at them and replied, "I feel strange. Yet, I feel extremely strong. It's just a strange feeling knowing I could be becoming pure fae because of the genetic transfusions." Phoenix and Kat just smiled. After a slight silence Solomon interrupted and said, "Sorry to interrupt but, I'd like to run a few more tests to verify that it's been successful. Also to make sure everything is well before nightfall." Everyone nodded in agreement.
With that being said Gabby went and got on the exam table. Once she fully got onto the table Solomon started with blood work and vitals. After the final exam was completed he exclaimed, "Holly fucking hellfire batman it actually worked! Congrats Gabby. You are no longer human but, have officially become pure fae." Excitement filled the room. The happy excitement was short lived. By this time nightfall was approaching rapidly and the full moon was rising. As Gabby hopped off the table Phalen looked out the window.
That's when Phalen realized the full moon was up. She then exclaimed, "Oh shit!" Before the words finished leaving her mouth Gabby collapsed to the floor. After Gabby hit the floor she began to convulse. Not long after that everyone heard the familiar sound of cracking bones. Phoenix then exclaimed, "This is so not good. We don't have enough time to set up a confinement for her. Phalen listen to me very carefully. Take her into your confinement. You better buckle up buttercup because it's going to be a rough ride and rough night. Also, this could go sideways really quickly. Be ready for anything because, Phalen, you will be locked in there alone with her."
Phalen did as instructed. After it was locked down she said, "Nobody interfere. I'll deal with this myself. If the situation shows signs of going sideways Phoenix and Kelcey are the only two to get involved. Do I make myself clear?" All the commotion had caused Kelcey, Conner, and Riley to rush in as the chaos erupted. Phoenix turned to them and said, "Did you hear the Captain's orders?" A quick moment of silence then Riley stated, "Aye, aye Captain. With all do respect we aren't leaving. We are a family and we refuse to leave. Sir."
At this time the familiar and deafening sound of both Gabby and Phalen's bones cracking was occurring. It was so loud it rang out throughout the entire med bay. When Sassy saw the two of them changing she stated, "Phoenix I thought Phalen could control her transformation?" Phoenix smiled as he said to Sassy, "She allowed it to happen. Just watch." While everyone watched Phalen turned back to human form. Her eyes remained the blue and gold, and her fangs remained out. This was by her choice. She dressed quickly. That's when they saw Gabby. She had transformed into a white wolf with green, gold, and red eyes.
