Chapter 18

                 Three months had past since the StarFyre Assassins Cartel had come to fruition. Both bases of operation or hideouts were well fortified and undetectable. Within the first three month's Phalen had made a very hefty amount of profit. Some of it went to production and stock of the drugs that were being sold. The rest was put aside in an account for future use and to pay everyone. Rayne and Rogue had become part of the continually expanding extended family Phalen already had. An agreement was reached that Rogue and Rayne, would have rooms on the same wing as Phalen and the gang. On the last day of the third month Kat called a meeting with Phalen and the gang including Rogue and Rayne.

               Once all were present Kat began to speak. Kat then began by saying, "There's a lot of talk among the light Fae. The talking revolves around Orion, Gabby, Rogue and Rayne. Many believe and feel that they should be made to go through tribunals like everyone else has. Even tho Rayne and Rogue are already light Fae. So Phalen you have two days to train and prepare them. That's an order. I suggest you get started. Dismissed." With that being said everyone exited the office.

                Once in the hall Phoenix approached the group and said, "What's with all the fear stricken faces?" There was a moment of silence then Gabby spoke up. Gabby replied, "Captain, what the fuck are we going to do? Me, Orion, Rogue, and Rayne only have two days to train for our tribunals. We're all fucking terrified. There's no way in hell we can be ready in that short period of time, sir." Before Phoenix could speak Phalen says, "Bullshit. You guys can do it. I didn't even get 24 hrs to prepare for mine. If I can do it with no prep, so can you guys with slight preparation." Phoenix then looks at them and replies, "Wait, what? Since when do the four of you have to do tribunals? Phalen's right you guys can do it." Before anyone could protest Phalen said, "Phoenix we just found out. Apparently a bunch of light Fae have bitched about it. Kat told us. Kat has also given me two days to prepare them. As I said, this just got dropped in my lap and on them."

               There was another moment of silence. Finally Phoenix states, "Phalen I'll help you prepare and train them for it. Let's grab Riley and Conner and have them also help train them. It'll be good practice for them. Let's go." Once Phoenix was done speaking he took them all to the gym to train. After everyone was in the gym Phoenix stated, "Ok guys Pair up and then we'll start. By the way no pairing up with your lovers either." With that the pairing began. The pairings went as follows, Gabby & Riley, Orion & Rogue, then finally Rayne & Conner. Phalen and Phoenix were standing at the end on each side. The first day of training then began. They focused a great deal on hand to hand combat and small weapons. Training lasted for approximately 3 hrs. They all did well. Of course, they all came out with minor cuts and bruises but, nothing to serious. After training was finished everyone went and did their own thing the rest of the day.

                  The next morning at 5am Phoenix let himself into Phalen and Gabby's room by picking the lock. After he got into the room and closed the door quietly he moved to the foot of their bed. Once at the foot of the bed he said loudly, "Ten hut!" This startled them awake and both fell out of the bed. Both scrambled to their feet. When they got to their feet they saluted Phoenix. After saluting him, Gabby walked up to Phoenix and punched him. Then she said, "Phoenix you fucking asshole. You scared the fuck out of us. Prick." Phoenix broke into laughter. Through his laughter Phoenix replies, "Damn Phalen, she's a feisty one in the morning. You're such a bad influence on her. I'm so proud of you."

                  Phalen then spoke, "Phoenix you're an asshole you know this right? By the way, her and all her feistiness is mine so don't get any ideas fucker. Furthermore, the next time you break into our room by picking the lock I'm going to shoot you in the leg. Shall we go round up the others?" Phoenix was laughing harder with what Phalen said. Once he composed himself he replied, "Don't worry Captain. I have absolutely no thoughts of anything with her. She's perfect for you. Your a feisty little shit too. Let's go round up the others." After Gabby and Phalen were ready they went to wake up the ladies. While they woke the ladies Phoenix woke the guys.
