In the dim chamber, Rikit appeared through the summoning circle with a sigh of relief. That relief lasted briefly as he felt half of his body start to fall, as he had forgotten to shrink himself. He quickly reduced his size and Lucia stepped forward to grab hold of him as well.
{Thanks.} Rikit expressed his gratitude before going stiff as Lucia started to hold him up and shift him around.
{Did they hurt you anywhere?} Lucia asked while patting down his scales for wounds.
{No, they didn't touch me. The strong blond guy that chased me down last time was just talking to me even though he can't understand me.} Rikit explained.
Lucia let out a sigh of relief and set Rikit down. {I'm glad you are safe. Currently we are inside a dungeon, on the fourth floor that is submerged in water. There are giant crabs on this floor so far. We haven't explored too far yet. I was just going to wait for Aegis to wake up before continuing, but once Vicki's rested, we can go explore if you are up for it.}
{Oh, sounds interesting! I am up for it.} Rikit responded enthusiastically.
Lucia and Rikit descended the stairs to where the others were resting. Lucia went back to thinking up new spells, while Rikit curled up beside her. Rikit sat patiently at first, but after a couple minutes he got bored and went to swim in the water. Even that got boring for Rikit, so he snuck up to the stairs near where Vicki was resting. Then using a shadow, he scooped up water and poured it on Vicki.
"Aaaaahhhh!" Vicki woke up with a start as she found herself being drenched. Her body's self defense activated as she enveloped herself in fire which quickly dried her off and lit up the room a bit.
"What's wrong Vicki?" Lucia turned to look with concern.
"I just got splashed with water!" Vicki explained while looking around vigilantly.
The culprit, Rikit was already swimming on the other side of the room and swimming back like he heard the disturbance. Lucia looked at the now dry Vicki, and did see a few spots of water on the stairs around Vicki thanks to the light she emitted. Lucia glanced at the nonchalant Rikit who just returned to the stairs.
"What happened?" Rikit asked innocently.
"Rikit..." Lucia put her hands on her hips and stared Rikit down.
"No really, what?" Rikit sounded a bit hesitant in his response.
"Rikit." Lucia repeated while turning her stare into a glare.
Vicki finally realized and growled, "Rikit why did you pour water on me?"
"I..." Rikit was going to try to defend himself, but under Lucia's glare he didn't continue to lie. "Sorry..."
"I'd return the favor, but you are already wet from swimming. How about I give you a ball of fire instead?" Vicki grinned as she created a floating orb of fire.
Rikit swallowed nervously, then remembered that Vicki wasn't as strong as him, and nodded. "Alright."
Vicki floated the fire orb over to Rikit, and then used air magic to empower it once it was in front of his stomach. When the air combined with the fire, it created a small explosion that sent Rikit flying back into the water.
"Vicki... That was too much don't you think?" Lucia sighed as she turned to scold Vicki this time.
"It's not like it will hurt him." Vicki pouted.
Rikit resurfaced and swam back to the stairs very swiftly. He slithered right up to Vicki's face and spoke excitedly, "Do that again!"
""What?"" Lucia and Vicki asked in doubt.
