The next room also head a large salamander in it, but this one was green with white spots.

"A nature type after a shadow type? I wonder if they follow any particular order." Lucia guessed.

Unlike the previous stone room, this room seemed to be covered in patches of moss. The salamander also immediately noticed Aegis as soon as he stepped on the moss. It spun to face him while slamming its tail on the ground to spawn several thorn vines that rushed at the group. Aegis used a bone shield this time and an ice sword. He cast a spell that released grey fog from his feet. All the moss around him turned brown as it died and he raised his sword hand to point at the salamander, causing the fog to move in that direction. Several of the vines that entered the fog started to wither at a visible rate. Aegis then raised his shield to block three of the weakened vines. Another two vines went for the rest of the group.

Vicki bit one vine and pinned the other beneath her claws as she wrapped herself in fire. The fire quickly burned the vines to ashes. Seeing this, Vicki charged forward while casting a wind blade to cut the vines that were still assailing Aegis. Aegis used this opening to charge forward with Vicki.

[Are we hunting?] Raff suddenly asked as it felt the waves of battle.

[Yes.] Lucia replied.

Without saying anything else, Raff used two vines to slam the floor and spawn brambles that followed close to the ground as they charged at the salamander and tangled with its feet to restrain it. Both being nature type, the salamander was able to remove the brambles with little effort, but that brief distraction had bought time for Aegis and Vicki to close the gap. Vicki had also launched a fire ball at the salamander while it was restrained, by the time it freed itself, the fireball arrived and hit its side. It hissed in pain as the fire lingered on its body after the explosion. Aegis had conjured an ice spear to keep the chain of attacks going. The ice spear pierced into the salamander's shoulder. That bought enough time for them to reach it and with a few key attacks on the salamander's vitals, it was killed.

"This feels like bullying..." Lucia sighed.

"Well yeah, you guys are basically a hunting party going after creatures of equal strength to one individual." Ray said coldly.

Aegis brought back the nature crystal. He passed the nature and the previous shadow crystal over to Lucia. Raff tried to grab the nature crystal as Lucia put it in her storage space.

[That's not for you to take without permission.] Lucia scolded lightly.

[Oh... But I helped...] Raff pouted, its body visibly started to droop. [I'm hungry...]

Lucia smiled wryly, [How about you eat some of the salamander meat? We'll help you-]

Before Lucia could finish, Raff had already climbed down from her body and sprinted to the salamander's corpse. Its sprinting speed was equivalent of an average person's jogging speed. Raff quickly touched around to try to find where to start eating, but the salamander was too big.

Lucia chuckled, "Can you guys help cut it up? Raff wants to eat."

Aegis laughed as well as he went over to help. He cut off a large portion of the tail first and Raff swallowed it hole, inflating its stem quite a bit. It's flower remained closed while it was eating.

Lucia suddenly thought to ask, [How long will it take you to digest that? Can you move while digesting?]

[A day maybe? I can move slowly.] Raff replied contentedly.

Raff was too big to tie itself like a belt now. Lucia thought of backpacks, and sent a mental image to Raff, [Can you try to hold yourself like a backpack on my back? We need to keep moving even if you are digesting food.]
