XXVIII Part 2

Theo and I entered the school gates. It is around past 5 kaya madilim na but the lights coming from the main stage is seen from where we are. Everyone is wearing something comfortable while still coordinating with today's color.

Siguro para maghanda sa concert since lahat nakatayo.

Bago kami umalis ni Theo ng bahay I called A para tanungin if nasundo niya na si Gwyn. Sabi niya siya na daw bahala sa kan'ya kaya dumirecho na kami dito.

I can still feel people staring and when I look at them, gazing away because of what happened earlier. Kahit kailan talaga agaw pansin 'tong si Theodore.

I felt his arms snake around my waist. I just let him be kasi the more na sabihan mo siya na 'wag gawin, mas gagawin pa at may kasama pang malakas na pang-aasar.

We were walking like that until we reached the main stage.

I am still surprised on how my Tita prepare for these kind of events. The stage lights seem to be overwhelming... maybe too bright for my liking but eh that's me, I guess.

There are different food and merch stalls surrounding the grounds. Ang decoration naman ay parang may Fiesta. Colorful bandanas are waving and tied to each light tapos may lights din sa mga puno. I didn't notice this earlier since busy ako bumisita sa mga class stalls kanina.

"That's the reason why there's so much people outside kanina." I said to Theo.

He nodded and smiled.

"At no'ng time pa talaga na madaming tao sa labas gumana ang kalandian mo?" I rolled my eyes and I heard him chuckle.

"'Di ah, coincidence lang 'yon." He defended with a smirk.

"As if, sinadya mo 'yon." He looked at me while thinking and smiled evilly...

Since he has his arms around my waist, he faced me while I was looking ahead I can feel his breath on my cheeks and he whispered to my ear, "Gusto mo pa ng isa?"

Tinignan ko siya tapos pinitik ang noo niya. Napabitaw siya sa'kin.

"Aww! Ramdam ko talaga ang sweetness mo."

"Ginusto mo 'to, now, deal with it." I said at iniwan siya do'n I heard him laugh.

"I'll just find my friends. I'll text you later." He said half-shouting. And I just waved my hand at him and went to the side. Tatawagan ko sila Gwyn at A para tanungin kung nandito na ba sila.

"A, where are you?"

"Nasa bahay pa. Pinasundo ko na sa driver ko si Gwyn."

"Bilisan niyo. Wala akong kasama dito."

"Parang 'di ka naman sanay?"

"O sige alis na pala—"

"E'to naman! Pero teka, anong nangyari kay Theo?"

"He's busy. Umay na ko sa presensya niya."

"Wow, and you have the audacity to say that?"

"Amanda, sinasabi ko sa'yo,"

"Yes, Mom. Anyway, we'll be there by 6. Bye need to finish my make-up."

I sighed. Grabe talaga 'yong energy ng babaeng 'yon.

I was at the staircase paakyat sa mga buildings since ayaw ko makisalamuha at nagsisimula ng dumami ang tao. 7pm ang start ng concert but seems like everyone wants to enjoy the foodstalls para makapag-party nalang after.

Umakyat ako sa second floor. Looking at everyone below, kahit sobrang ingay sa baba, I find it quite calming here.

I saw Theo and some of our classmates enjoying some drinks with him. I just let him be. I'm not the type to be possessive anyway and as if somebody in this school dares to touch what's mine. Oh, that bitch.
