Chapter Four - Workout

After finishing both frozen films and singing along to every song, the boys are now helping me transport my stash to their apartment. Top secret mission shit.

"Get down" Mason whisper-yells at me as he crawls along the carpet in an all black outfit. Elijah walks past him in his usual ripped black jeans and sweatshirt, carrying a box or alcohol from my room to theirs. Mason is on look out and Kayden is hiding them in the room.

I pack another box of whiskey and the last duffel bag of weed, carefully taking it to the boys room. Once I safely put the last of it in the cupboard, I turn to them, the four of us sweating in the 90 degree heat. They all look at me with an unreadable expression plastered on their faces.

"Do not judge" I wave my index finger at them and slowly back away into their kitchen, looking for snacks.

"Kade, me and Mase are gonna workout on the field later when it's cooler, you wanna join?" Elijah asks Kayden who nods his head whilst eating an apple.

"I wanna come" I say, jumping onto the counter and swinging my legs.

"Aw, that's cute" Mason says as he ruffles my hair, I swat his hand away.

"I'm serious, I haven't worked out since I got here and I need to start" I explain.

"You work out?" Kayden asks in disbelief.

"Can you not tell" I scoff, flexing my bicep "but seriously, it takes my mind off things" It's true. The only thing I have been doing with my life for the past nine months is drinking, smoking and exercise so the drinking doesn't make me gain weight.

"I want to see this" Mason chuckles as I flick both middle fingers up to them all and jump of the island.

"Fuck all of you" I say before exiting the apartment and going to mine.

After an hour nap, I throw my hair into a messy bun and strip off my clothes. I replace my lace bra with a black Nike sports bra and pull on a pair of grey nike pros. I slip on a pair or running trainers as a loud knock sounds for the wooden door.

"House keeping" Mason's voice squeaks in a high-pitched tone.

"Dude shut up" I hear Elijah mumble and a loud smack follows.

"OW"I swing the door open to reveal three boys in tight muscle shirts and shorts. They all look me up and down in unison as I roll my eyes.

"Let's go" I smack them all on the arm and push them forward, down the hall. We walk across campus to the locker room to get the equipment they need and then make our way to the soccer field. The sun was beginning to set and the weather was beautiful.

We warm up by jogging around the pitch for 10 minutes and doing shuttle runs until Mason started moaning. Elijah and Mason began to practice shooting whilst Kayden set us up a circuit. I was currently on jump rope and my legs were burning, I felt like I was in hell but loved it at the same time.

Kayden's timer goes off, notifying us to move to the next exercise. I begin doing my ab exercise when the sound of a whale giving birth screeches over the pitch.

"Kade!" Sofia screams. I groan at her voice and turn to see Kayden with a pissed off look on his face. Sofia runs up to him in her 10 inch heels and goes to kiss his lips but he moves and ends up kissing his ear. I stifle a laugh at the sight "you look good when you work out" she says whilst rubbing her hands over his whole body. I watch him tense and catch my eye briefly, begging me to help him.

I groan and push myself up from the ground, grabbing the nearest soccer ball. I slightly flick my wrists, sending the ball soaring in the air and landing directly on top of princess's head. Being the dramatic queen she is, she falls to the ground and begins to wail like a child. I run over to a nearby student.
