I raise my knuckles to the door and knock softly "Kayden" I gently say.The fuck am I doing?
"Kayden" I yell "open the fucking door before I break it along with your neck" yes "please" I whisper, stifling a laugh. The door swings open with a manly groan and a pissed off looking Kayden behind it."Will you fucking shut up?" He mumbles and walks back into his room.
"Tough break up?" I ask, leaning against the frame of his door. What was meant to be a joke causes him to swing his fist into the nearby wall, damaging it and leaving a hole. Well done Faith, pat on the back. I quickly walk inside the room and shut the door, aware of Mason sleeping and not wanting to bother Elijah "Hey, I'm sorry I was only joking"
"No. No it's not that" he sighs and sits on the edge of his bed with his head in his hands.
"What is it?" I question, curiosity getting the better of me.
"Just something Sofia said, bought up my past" he groans.
"About?" I push.
"Drop it" he bluntly says and stands up.
"Bu-" I begin.
"I said fucking drop it" he growls at me before storming out of the room, seconds later I hear the shower start. Wow. Faith, you really know how to make people feel better. I should never of pushed, it clearly was a sensitive topic based on the huge dent in his wall. But am I going to really drop it? Hell no.
I take the opportunity to take a look around his room, his desk was lined with a few photographs. I pick up one in a gold frame which seems to be of him maybe a few years ago with two boys and a girl. They all have similar features and the same olive skin tone as Kayden. Cousins? I pick up the next picture which is of a beautiful older women with a little Kayden sat on her lap, he looks around six in the photo and couldn't of been smiling any brighter, his cute dimples standing out. The last polaroid on the desk was of the famous trio, Kayden, Elijah and Mason. They really are gorgeous boys, inside and out. I feel lucky to of met them.
The door to him room opens and in walks a naked Kayden with only a towel hugging his waist. I quickly cover my eyes like a little girl as he notices my presence.
"You're still here?" He groans as I hear him moving around the room, I feel my way over to the bed with my eyes clamped shut and sit down, making myself comfortable.
"Sure am" I retort. I've seen him thousands of times without a shirt, why am I acting stupid? I open my eyes slowly to see him stood in front of me now wearing grey sweatpants, staring with a blank expression.
"Get out" he grumbles.
"No. Everyone's asleep" I say back.
"Go to your dorm then" he sighs and ruffles his hair dry with the towel. Charming.
"Why'd you get so angry at me?" I blurt out "I'm sorry for pushing you but the hole..."
"Just sometimes people don't want to talk about stuff Faith. I thought you got that" he snaps back. He's totally right. I'm an ass.
"You're right, I'm sorry" I give him a small smile and stand up to exit his room, one thing on my mind "night" I mumble, not getting and a reply so I walk out.
It's 1:32 am and my goal this week was to go to sleep before one every night so I could attend all classes. Mission failed. Pft. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to class tomorrow but don't be fooled in thinking I will be conscious during the lesson.
I make my way across campus, craving the fresh air. Honestly those halls can get extremely stuffy with the amount of bodies living in one building. I climb up the ladder and hop onto the roof top where a few beanbags were lying from the last time I came up here. I slump down into one a stare up to the sky.
