I have officially been at Kingston High for a week now and I can definitely say that it is not as bad as I though it would be. I feel like Mason and Elijah are my brothers from a past life. They have become something that I depend on in the last week, my best friends. Kayden is kayden - still an asshole that I have sympathy for - I would've shot myself if I had to of even been within three feet of Sofia for the past year. Still a major dick though.
The boys and I have worked out together most days and I sat on the bleachers studying whilst they had soccer practice. It is now 5:39 pm and I am getting ready for the soccer match tonight. Apparently they are playing against a posh private school from Hollywood who are really good.
Our school colours are blue and red so I slip on a red mini skirt and a baby blue satin cowl neck tank top. I curl my freshly washed hair and flip it over my head. I slip on a pair of converse and grab my bag, phone and key, knowing I'm late already. The game started at 5:30 but I was napping, I'm sure they'll understand. I rush out of the mixed hall, not a student in sight as everyone attends the games.
I finally arrived at the bleachers and took a seat near the front, Mason told me to sit there, just as half time was finishing. I look up to the board and see the score is 1-1.
10 minutes of the game is left when we finally make our move and head up the pitch towards their goal. Elijah sprints down the left wing and curves the ball over, landing at Kayden's feet who kicks it straight into the top corner. The crowd erupts in cheers and applauds, the atmosphere unmatched.
The whistle finally blows, signalling Kingston High's victory as all the players huddle together and congratulate each other. The Hollywood school soon leave after the loss whilst our team continue to celebrate. The bleachers start to become empty as everyone walks to the pitch or the dorms. I slowly make my way onto the pitch, looking for a certain blue eyed man with curly hair and a mysterious black eyed cutie.
I make eye contact with the blue eyes and jog over to to the trio as they turn to look at me. I tackle Mason to the ground in a bear hug as he begins to chuckle."That was fucking amazing" I tell them all, lying on the ground as Mason stands with the others above me. He pulls me up and I wrap my arms around all three boys.
"You missed my goal" Elijah grumbles as we all chuckle.
"Aw E, I'm sorry" I ruffle his sweaty hair "I was sleeping" they all roll their eyes and groan at me. I sense the disappointment in their tone as we stumble away from the soccer pitch.

Before the match, the boys made a bet on the score and whoever got it right could decide where we ate. Clearly Mason won as we are now sat in MacDonald's drive thru at 11:30 pm. Mason drove us here in his fancy jeep looking car with the top off and music blasting. Vibes.
After ordering the whole menu, Mason speeds off to Hollywood hills and eventually parks us at the edge of the cliff with a stunning view. Mason keeps the music running as background noise as we all clamber out of the car, the boys hopping onto the roof easily. For my 5'3 short ass, it is not so simple. After many attempts and near death moments, Elijah stops chuckling and pulls me up onto the car top. I take my cheeseburger and moan at the sensation of melted cheese and burger patties entering my stomach. We lie here for hours, watching the stars twinkle and the moon act as a source of light.
Stars are such special things. They have unlimited meanings and can be interpreted in so many ways, no wrong answer. I believe each star represents a new life in Heaven, my mom and dad watch down on me. It fills me with some sort of comfort, knowing that they are somewhere. My biggest fear is disappointing them. That's why I am not dead right now, hell isn't ready for me just yet.
I lean my head against Elijah's shoulder and feel myself drift to sleep.
