We soon arrive at the party/ palace in Kayden's Matt black Ferrari, parking next to all the other sports cars. Kayden comes round to my door and holds a hand out "after you malady" he bows. Loser alert.

"Why thank you kind sir" I take his hand and give a quick curtsy before we both begin to chuckle at the formalities. What are we. In the midst of our laughing fit, a voice starts to call Kayden's name.

"Kayden" the man repeats himself causing us both to turn our attentions to an older looking man wearing a velvet green tuxedo and a disapproving expression "Pleasure to see you, is your father attending with you?"

"No" Kayden replies bluntly. They continue conversing for a while until the old guy finally decides to get to bed.

"Who was that?" I ask as Kayden reaches into the car and grabs a blazer. To my disappointment, he covers his arms with the sleeves of the blazer, not making him any
less hotter.

"I have no idea" he tells me as he grabs onto my hand causing warm sensations to run up my arm "I get invited to events all the time because my surname tags along with my father. He never comes but the rest of my family do"

"family reunion?" I say with a smile.

"Hopefully not" he grimaces, tugging me along to the entrance of the castle.

The large oak doors are opened for us giving us an overview of the party and oh my god. Is it too late to turn back?

Over the balcony, a ball is taking place on the ground floor, hundreds of people dressed in the most expensive clothes they own, sipping on glasses of the finest champagne. What the-

"I thought this was a party?" I whisper-snap to Kayden who's stood on my left acting as if this is daily for him.

"A posh party" he smirks down at me, I give the evilest glare I can muster before ripping my hand from his. He quickly grabs my arm before I can turn away "please try" he mumbles into my ear. I think about it.

"Fine" I grumble, the alcohol will calm me down. It better anyway.

He yanks on my hand, almost causing me to stumble but being steadied by his hand on my waist. Sheesh. Hello. We make our way down the stairs safely and in one piece, thankfully I've not broken my neck on these damn heels yet. Kayden weaves his way through the crowd with me following behind like a lost puppy, the destination in reaching distance, the bottles of beauty at my fingertips.

"Don't drink too much" he tells me, completely stomping on my ideas. Asshole.

"Wasn't even thinking about it" I lie. I totally was, and I totally will.

"Also, when people come up to us, only talk to me in Italian" he says handing me a flute of champagne. Scratch that, the drop of champagne. Who the fuck filled these glasses?

"Why's that? Secret spy shit" I say, maybe a little too loud as people turn to face me.

"Most people here are Spanish and extremely nosey. Only answer their questions briefly and in English" he instruct, pulling me aside from prying eyes.

"Sir yes sir" I chant, saluting him with my hand. Pft. He smirks and slaps my hand away.

"I'm serious though Fai" he puts his hands on my shoulders to focus me "some of these people can be dangerous and I don't want you hurt" Dangerous?

"Dangerous? Why wo-" I begin before being cut off by a presence coming up beside us.

"Wassup guys" the sound of Jordan's voice fills my eyes making me smile. Jordan is my fave. Don't tell Kayden. I turn to face him and realise Korey and Alexis are also with him.
