Kayden POVAfter we arrived home from the hospital, I ordered Chinese food whilst Faith got changed into my shirt. We are now on our second film and well underway with the Chinese food, Faith is nibbling on a chicken nugget whilst I have a pot of noodles balanced on my thigh.
"Why do we have to watch Kissing Booth Two? We just watched the first one" I groan putting the food in the kitchen for leftovers tomorrow.
"Because you will forget what happened otherwise" Faith yells back to me from the couch. She loves it here. I can tell. I've never seen her stare out of a window so much. New York is my home and it makes me smile when I see how Faith is in love with the place just as much as I am.

My eyes flutter open at the light peaking through the curtain, I glance to my left and realise we fell asleep on the couch last night. Faith is sprawled on the other end of the large cushion, a smile on her face hopefully meaning she's having a good dream and not plotting to murder me.
I make the wise decision of making us breakfast that consist of pancakes and waffles, I realise that she never ate properly yesterday, maybe a nugget or two but not enough, I mentally slap myself for not noticing sooner. When I walk back into the living room with a tray of food, Faith is sitting up on the couch watching a news show.
"Good morning" I say, placing the breakfast tray in the coffee table.
"Morning" she gives me a sleepy smile, eyeing the food warily.
Today I have taken on the role as tour guide, I am taking Faith all around New York and showing her my favourite places. We are only here for a week as thats all the school would let us leave for but we will definitely be coming back soon. Well I will be. Hopefully Faith
as well.Yesterday when I introduced her to my Mom, I didn't know what to call her, are we friends? Are we less? Are we more? I have no fucking idea. Do friends sleep in friends bed? I don't want to move too fast but I also don't want to go too slow and make it seem as if I'm not interested because I totally am.
Faith is more than a quick fuck. I care about her feelings. Now I'm going soft.
When I finish my daydream, I look back down to see the plate half empty causing a huge grin to spread across my face.
"Go change, we have a busy day" I tell her, she gives me a frown as she has no clue what I have in store for us.
Faith comes back down minutes later in a white summery dress that reaches her thighs, her usual converse and one of my hoodies.
Of course.She looks pretty.
I run upstairs to change also into black jeans and burgundy sweatshirt, it's not cold in New York but it's definitely not hot.
We climb into my car before the engine roars signalling that we are on our way to the first place. It takes around twenty minutes to reach the spot, I pull in between the white lines and stop the car.
"Is this Central Park?" Faith smiles turning to face me, I return the smile before getting out of the car, walking around to her side and opening the door "thank you sir" she says before getting out.
God she's beautiful.
She walks ahead of me, practically running into the park. I'm definitely not checking her out. Pft. No. Of course not...
Faith POV
Central Park is breathtaking. The mass amounts of people swarm around me, some on their daily run, some on their commute to work and some with their significant others.
