Maybe, we really shouldn't compare people with permanent things.
I shouldn't have compared the way you smile with the mesmerizing view of the setting sun.
Maybe then, I won't have to stop dead in my track everytime my eye catches the faint yet still comfortably warm sunlight-- pretending to have just passed by the seaside at that exact time I knew the sun would meet the ocean.
Maybe then, I'd be able to complete taking pictures of the remaining one hundred sunsets left out of a hundred and fifty without thinking that they looked exactly just like the ones I sent you before everyday.
Maybe then, my heart won't need to ache while staying till the last traces of scarlet colors slowly disappear from the sky-- just like how I silently watched you slowly take a step away from me everytime I avoided your gaze.
After all, things like them will only keep on reminding you of the truth that most of the times, temporary people take up permanent space in our hearts.
That irreplaceable space, which no matter howhard you try, cannot be filled even with all the sunrise, sunsets and galaxiescombined.
