"I never loved you.

I just loved the way how fate seemed to cross our paths for a reason.

I just loved the way you smiled the first time I met you.

That boyish smile that let me know a beautiful story is yet to unfold.

I never loved you.

I just loved how you kept on showing up at places I wanted as my sanctuary.

The way you keep on saving me at times I am vulnerable.

That gentle way you proved to me that some things don't always end up the way we wanted them to.

I never loved you.

I just loved the way you make my heart beat so fast just by looking into my eyes.

The way you make me come out with all the metaphors I've never even encountered before.

The way you make me write poems about love and pain, about the things that I never seem to truly understand at all.

I never loved you, you see.

I only loved the way you feed my fantasies-- that you live up to my ideals of a love story.

I only loved the things you do.

I only love writing about them.

I love them.

But never you."
