"I'm in me mum's car.... vroom vroom~", he giggled uncontrollably, his nose scrunching cutely in the process.
"Yes Lix, you've already said that 25 times now...", Jisung sighed heavily, sifting a little to get more comfortable on his seat.
Funny thing is that, we are actually in Felix's mum's car right now. We are driving to his and Minho's lake houses to, apparently, let go of some steam, before we start "studying" for the upcoming exam period... Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that.
I felt more comfortable driving with Mrs' Lee, since I've met her multiple times now, instead of Minho's mum, who I don't really know. Or Minho himself, because he is driving as well today, along with the two mothers.
And of course, despite hating my life sometimes, I really don't want to die yet. I would like to live a couple years more, you know? So, I think it was wise of me not to be in his car and chose to tag along with Mrs Lee.Anyhow, I'm getting ahead of myself, since I should focus on explaining how we got here, instead of talking about the car arrangements.
~Flashback~
"Oh, at last! He is finally here, always being the last one to come.", Seungmin exclaimed with a sigh once he saw Chan's car approaching.
"He must have overslept again.", Jisung chuckled and slurped on his cold lemonade.
We are currently scattered around Minho's apartment building's parking lot, struggling to fit our suitcases inside the cars, while, simultaneously, discussing about the car arrangements and who's going to sit in whose car.
All of us being super excited about this road trip, laughing and being quirky all the time, especially the girls.
When I first told them about this three-day vacation and about the boys inviting us to the lake houses, they were beyond enthusiastic, literally jumping around the room with pitchy squeals. They almost cried out of happiness...
Not to be dramatic or anything, but we really needed to clear our mind and break free from this suppressing routine.
Not that we were working our butts off before... but we needed this, okay?!We are not mentally stable.
Do you remember that 'Maldives trip', that I desperately wanted to go, when I was teaching Chan how to draw?
Well, that's the Walmart version of it.
But it does it's job, so I'll accept it.
All the while, apart from stuffing our luggage in the car, we were also waiting for the all-mighty prince to arrive, as he was running late.
While doing so, at some point, a car stopped and parked next to the outer entrance of the parking lot. Coming to the view, Chan stepped out of that white car, with sports bags hanging on his arms.He was coming towards us with a sleepy smile and apparently, Jisung was right about him oversleeping. Although, he wasn't the only person to step out of the car, as a figure came running out of the driver's seat and sprinting closer to us.
The face of a breathtaking beautiful woman, around her middle 40s, came to the view. However elegant she might have looked, her face seemed to be in distress, while her delicate feet were hurriedly walking over us.
"Who's Olivia?!", the lady, who apparently, must be Chan's mother, said out of breath.
Her sleepy son proceeded to raise his hand and lazily point at my direction with a puzzled expression. Probably, he must have been as confused as I was at the moment, as I was watching the elegant lady storming towards me.
