"Olivia stop eating the yogurt."
Said Chan, laying on his stomach while I applied strawberry flavored yogurt on his burnt skin.
If you want to know why, I am here against my will. The girls forced me to come here and make amends with him, because we had end things on a bad note.
I'm not here because I want to. They forced me to do this.
I didn't even stay for lunch with the rest of the group because of this. I rushed behind Chan only to find him in the hall of the hotel, heading towards his room with grocery bags in his hands. Walking with his bare red back, that was slowly forming blisters. I followed close behind until he noticed me.
It was very awkward between us, especially after the fight, but we both understood we had behaved like immature children. So, he wordlessly opened the door for me and we stepped inside.
So here I am now, inside his room. His burnt back facing me as I sit next to him on his bed.
Don't get any wrong ideas. I'm only here to help him put yogurt on his back.
"Why couldn't you have bought normal yogurt? Applying strawberry yogurt on your back is such a waste..." I mumbled, spreading with a spoon the contents of the plastic cup. I couldn't help but steal a few spoonfuls from it though, hence Chan scolded me for this.
He even bought vanilla flavoured ones!
Don't mind me, I'm just hungry because I haven't had lunch yet. I've only eaten the ice cream Lorenzo bought for me.
"I couldn't find any normal ones--Ouch." he hissed mid-sentence as my pinky accidentally brushed on his skin.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to..." I grimaced, inspecting the burn. "You're gonna have a heck of a hard time putting on the suit tonight..."
"The suit?"
"Yeah, for the family dinner. Don't tell me you forgot?"
Mia and Minho had invited their families and the whole group in a close family dinner tonight. You know, just your typical formal dinner before a wedding.
"Oh," he trailed. "No, I do remember. I just didn't know we had to dress so formal for it."
"You could come naked if you want. That's unless you want to be criticized by Mia and Minho's grandparents, of course." I joked, stealing another spoonful, to which Chan sighed.
"I'm familiar with Minho's family, they wouldn't mind me."
"Yeah, but Mia's would. Whom do you think Mia takes after her over-the-top dressing code? With all these princess-like dresses and all that."
"Right..." Chan tried to nod his head through the pillows.
There was a pause. Deep silence between the two of us for some minutes.
That's until Chan decided to speak again.
"Seems like I'm gonna need help putting on my suit," he said suggestively, implying something that I was more than welcome to avoid.
