Dear life, why me? Was what Olivia thought the moment she felt Lorenzo's finger tapping her gently on the shoulder.

It was one thing to be an awkward dancer and another to have Mia's cousins glaring angrily at her when Lorenzo declined to dance with any of them and rushed to Olivia instead.

She really didn't like the unnecessary attention these cousins were giving her. It wasn't her fault that Lorenzo sped up like a lightning bolt the moment Mia's grandmother suggested the couples dance.

And what kind of suggestion even was that? What if the couples were too awkward to dance with each other in front of other strangers in the restaurant? Or at least, one partner out of the two?

Like Olivia for example.

And only Olivia for example.

Because apparently, everyone else seemed to be fine with it.

Seungmin took the chance to finally be alone with Alexa as Bethany stole her little naughty boyfriend away from him. Minho took Mia, Ava took Changbin and Felix, shy as ever, did the same with Mia's cousin. Since Jeongin's girlfriend was not present for the wedding, the boy went to sit with Nick, as the both of them didn't have a partner to dance with. Hyunjin on the other hand, was a little too busy trying to sneak away from Minho's grandma to even bother dancing.

As for Chan...well, Mia's grandma had taken care of that when she offered to be his dance partner herself. To which Chan was more than delighted to accept. He was always good with the elderly and despite not trying, he made the old lady laugh and have a good time.

Something that Olivia envied from afar as she danced with a 6'4 Lorenzo.

Obviously their height difference was one of the reasons Olivia moved like an uncoordinated ballerina. Lorenzo's frame was way too tall for someone as short as her or anyone at that matter.

Cavaliers didn't tend to be this tall.

And Chan was the perfect example.

She watched him moving with such grace and precision, holding the grandma like a delicate flower and carefully twirling her around. Her wrinkly cheeks would crease even more at something funny Chan would say to her every now and then, and Olivia would sigh deeply.

Great, now I'm jealous of Mia's freaking grandma. How pathetic.

That thought only made her sigh more. She really wanted to swap places with the old lady, because at the very least, she wouldn't have to crane her neck 90° to look up at Chan, like she did with Lorenzo. Olivia could always reach Chan's brown eyes with ease. But now she was hurting her spine to look up at a pair of green ones instead. A very beautiful pair of green eyes at that, but still not as warm and familiar as the brown ones.

Upon Olivia's constant stares, the grandma's senses tingled. She felt someone staring at her and when she looked around, she locked eyes with Olivia. The contact made the girl flinch and internally cringe in embarrassment.

Crap, crap, crap, Olivia groaned silently. At least it wasn't Chan that caught me staring.

"Do you agree?"

Olivia heard a manly voice drawing her away from her inner thoughts.

"Huh?" she averted her eyes and met Lorenzo, who was looking at her expectingly.

Great, Lorenzo was talking to me while I was too busy spying on a grandma... What do I reply now? She thought.

Thinking that Olivia must have not heard him, Lorenzo repeated his question. "Do you agree?" he smiled warmly.
