Everyone started gathering around. The guests were taking their seat on the ivory chairs reserved for them, busy greeting one another. A soft tune played in the background that muffled the soft whispering, a happy melody appropriate for this happy occasion. The sun shone brightly from above and a soft breeze passed through, moving the pastel-colour flowers to its rhythm that arose a trail of sweet floral scent to its wake.

The wedding ceremony—it was almost time for it.

Mia and Minho's parents wore the brightest smiles, albeit, not nearly as bright as Minho's, who was impatiently waiting for his bride at the altar. His hands clenched and unclenched in anticipation, his body vibrated whole. He was so happy. He was always happy with Mia, but today he was officially making her his life-long partner, his wife. Even if five years flowed like water, had he had the opportunity, Minho would have married her sooner. He didn't need a fancy destination nor a fancy venue, Minho would have gone without those things. But he knew his kitten better and wanted her to have the most memorable wedding day possible. Seeing Mia happy all the time was his goal in life—also because Mia tended to be just a little bit violent when mad and Minho struck to avoid that.

"Are you girls ready? We need to walk down the aisle with the groomsmen in two minutes," Olivia informed the bridesmaids, running around the changing room to make sure no one needed help. All of them looked as beautiful as the morning sun. Their satin, champagne-pink dresses flowed like liquid rubies with every step they took, their hair— half up, half down—was woven with tiny flowers at the sides, creating a delicate floral crown.

But the bridesmaids weren't nearly as breathtaking as the bride herself. It wasn't just her beautiful wedding dress that made her look like a forest fairy, or the astonishing work her hairstylist had done, completing the ethereal fairy-like look. What made Mia stand out among so many wonderfully-looking ladies in the room, the most ravishing adornment she wore, was her happiness. The bridesmaids could never compare to that.

"We're all set and ready to go, Liv," Ava nodded at her and picked up her flower bouquet at the same time everyone else did.

"Good," Olivia rolled her shoulder, relaxing some tension. She walked to Mia, who was sitting at a chair waiting for her father to come up, so that he can escort her down the aisle. "Mia, we're heading out now, I'll see you outside. Good luck, girl," she smiled and squeezed her in a quick hug.

"Okay," Mia said timidly. She was never timid.

Olivia chuckled at that and walked outside, followed by Ava, Bethany, Lucia and Mia's one thousand and one cousins. Their heels echoed down the stairs as they walked down the floors with a fast pace. The groomsmen waited for them outside the Villa, hovering over the entrance like some bodyguards.

"Guys, who's that cherry head?" Bethany whispered, surprised to see a new person to the wedding, let alone a groomsman.

Said man had his back turned on them, his deep wine-coloured hair reflected the sunlight that showered upon him, making him look like a polished cherry of some TV commercial. He was tall and lean and oddly familiar. His aura was similar to someone she new, but Bethany just couldn't put her finger on it. He had this confidence oozing out of him even by doing nothing but waiting at the entrance.

"Ah... that," Olivia needn't follow Beth's gaze to understand for who she was talking about. There was only one cherry head in the entire wedding after all. "Lucia, would you like to elaborate?"

Lucia held back a laugh and cleared her throat, a smile playing on her lips as her mind couldn't stop replaying the incident. "Well, that cherry head is... Hyunjin," she started and watched as Ava and Beth's eyes bulged and mouths fell agape. Indeed, at that very moment they saw the mysterious cherry-haired man craning his neck to the side to whisper something to Changbin and saw Hyunjin's face. Oddly enough, that rich dark colour looked great on him. It was a bold shade yes, but it suit him perfectly. Then again, the girls had never seen Hyunjin being unable to pull off something as bold as a different hair colour or even dress style. Hyunjin made everything look stylish on him. It was a blessing and a curse.
