What on earth was that and why did it appear the exact same time we were talking about the fisherman? It must be just pure coincidence...at least, I hope so.

"Girls...I think we should start going now. It has already been thirty minutes, the boys will have forgotten about us, right?" Mia's voice slighlty trembled, while she kept her eyes to the direction where the dark shadow passed by. I could see that she was trying her best to remain composed and not go nutts, but her hands started to shake a bit and I quickly squeezed them, giving her a forced smile. I was too fighting with myself to stay calm and considering that I don't get scared easily, especially with such things, I don't want to imagine how the petite girl feels. She is a scardy cat after all.

"Yeah, we better head home or else we will catch a cold. I was sweaty before and I don't think this cold breeze will do any good to me." I  stood up from the rock I was sitting and helped the girls do the same. Ava was probably the most unfazed out of us and somehow, her relaxed aura made us feel a little more safe. If Mia and I were left alone in this place, without Ava knocking some sense into our minds, we would have probably died out here from overthinking everything. Ava is like the mother of the group, always composed and the last person to overthink anything, that forces us to think with a clear mind, it's actually very admiring. Especially if you consider that I tend to overthink at times and end up deciding that everything sucks, let alone Mia, that goes crazy most of the time. Our personalities don't always match, but neverthelss, there's balance in this trio group because of that.

We picked our pace and started heading back to the lake houses, hurriedly walking in case there was indeed something dangerous out there. Mid-way in our walk, we all decided to just stay at Felix's house, have a bath, relax and have some quality time just the three of us. We didn't want to attend the boys' board game night, because obviously, we still couldn't face them. Ava even said that she is gonna get nightmares of Changbin chasing her around with a flower pot on his middle part. All we wanted, was to just get some time away from the boys. Too much time with them is not good for our mental health it appears. If Felix tries to call us and check up on us, asking why we are not at Minhos' with them, we will just find a believable excuse to get off the hook.

We came back around one hour ago, we have already taken a shower, blow-dried and massaged Ava and ate some snacks from Felix's frigde. There were aslo some brownies on the counter, that tasted delicious and we ended up eating all 10 pieces. Let's just hope that Felix isn't gonna come at us in our sleep... I may not know who made them, but nontheless, it was the best brownie i ever had.

And now, we were currently sitting on the couch, with the TV on, but not really paying attention on the screen, as we were constantly looking at our phones. We were expecting the boys to at least, send a text and ask if we are alive or not. Just one. But it seems that they have completely forgotten about us. These little traitors. "As if they ever cared about us." Ava mumbled, keeping her eyes on her phone and gripping it tightly. Changbin will have to make up for that, or else Ava might disown him. Mia scoffed, equally as irritated, she rolled her eyes and turned off her phone and quickly grabbed the remote. She was changning channels rapidly, until she stopped on one, with a movie that was just about to start.

"Great, let's just watch a movie and stop thinking about them." Mia said bitterly, getting herself comfortable on the velvet couch. We all nodded, willing to return the favor and not bother with them, the way they did with us. We were too proud to text them first and since no one volunteered to check up on us, we thought that it would be better to focus our minds on something else.

As the movie started, I scooted closer to the girls, sitting in between them so they could reach the chips I was holding easier. I took a chip and popped it in my mouth, only ending up choking on it a second later, when the movie title appeared on the screen.
