"We're going to play Spin the Bottle." Chan said with a playful mischief, eyeing everyone around the table carefully. His eyes came to a halt, when they landed on Olivia's frame and his smirk grew wider. He was up to no good. Tonight was the night he woud finally be able to ask bluntly whatever his heart wanted, without thinking twice. He could blame his spontaneity and out of character behavior later on the juice. For now, he just wanted to bring the truth up to the surface. Now was his chance. When everyone seemed to be too high on sugar and wasn't thinking straight.

"Whoever the bottle lands on, they will have to answer the question they have been asked. If they refuse to answer, they will have to drink." the half drunk boy announced the rules, grabbing an empty glass bottle of pineapple juice.

"But you guys already had enough to drink! I might need to take you all to the hospital if you keep this up." Bethany protested, obviously being too worried for everyone's well-being.

"Exactly." Chan smiled wickedly as Bethany's frown grew deeper.

"What do you mean 'exactly' ?"

"What I mean is that, they will be forced to answer the questions instead, so that no one dies tonight from the sugar. Simple as that."

"Chan, I don't think this is a good idea..."

"Nothing, that comes from his mouth, is a good idea." Olivia mumbled, rolling her tired eyes while sitting back down on her seat. She had completely lost her senses, she felt as if she was in a dream. Everything seemed blurry and confusing, she couldn't control neither her tongue nor her actions.

Although, Chan wasn't the same. He might have looked to be in the same drunken state as everyone else, but he was faking it. Of course he had drunk plenty of juice, but not enough to numb his senses completely. His mind was working better than ever, sly and witty. "So, you say that I don't have good ideas?" the was a hint of hurt in his tone when Chan locked eyes with Olivia. "I don't think you would have said that five years ago about me." he cocked an eyebrow, trying not to get too annoyed by her drunk words.

Slamming her fist on the table, Olivia glared at Chan with fuming rage. "At least, five years ago, you had ideas that I knew of! ...before you shut down on me..." she muttered, gritting her teeth bitterly and averting her gaze elsewhere.

Bethany saw the way Chan's jaw clenched harshly and his hand formed into a fist, his knuckles turning white and his arm veins popping up. He was looking down at Olivia intensly, while the girl didn't spare him a glance. His eyes seemed to hold strong emotions, but to her dismay, she couldn't read any of them. It felt as if the man in front of her, either wanted to smack Olivia or himself. Maybe both or maybe it was something else. Bethany couldn't decide. It was all too confusing for her to understand, but nonetheless, she was enjoying it. "I feel like I'm watching a soap opera." she whispered, silently sipping on her glass of water and acting as if she was inside a cinema room.

Chan's knuckles relaxed again once he took a deep breath in. "Let's spin the bottle." he exhaled and in a second, his lips formed a naughty smirk. "I'll go first." he said, without waiting for any possible objections from the crowd. He held the empty bottle in his hands, but instead of placing it down on the table and spinning, Chan took the liberty to spin it on the tip of his index finger, like a basketball ball. A couple of seconds later, he slammed the bottle down on the table, directly pointing at Olivia.

"Hey!" the girl acted on defense and pointed a finger at him accusingly. "I'm not really sure, but I think... I think that's cheating!" she forced her drunken brain to work.

"No, it is not." Chan retorted with an innocent smile, holding back a chuckle at the way Olivia struggled to form words. "I did spin the bottle, didn't you see?" he defended and folded his arms.
