Stuck on an Island with One Direction

Chapter 6

"Jane calm down." Shes probably getting back at me for the thermostat thing. I looked at the clock that was hanging on the wall. 2:30 in the morning! "Jane its like 2:30! What the hell!"

"ROSE THE F***ING BOAT IS SINKING!"

"What are you talking about?" Is she serious? No, there is no way that this boat is stinking.

"ARE YOU DEAF? THE BOAT IS SINKING! GET UP NOW!"

"Jane you're freaking me out stop!" She was seriously scaring me now.

"THE BOAT HIT THIS HUGE ROCK AND NOW ITS SINKING! WE HAVE TO GET ON OUR LIFE JACKETS!"

"Jane you better not be joking with me." She looked me in the eyes and I could tell that she was genuinely scared. Jane has always been so strong, shes been there when I needed her, she has never shown that she was scared of anything. This is real. The boat is sinking.

I was fully awake now, I noticed that my mom and dad walked out of their room being fully dressed in coats and heavy things. Jane was also dressed too. They all looked scared.

I still had on my cloths from last night so I didn't need to change. 

"Jane how did you find out that the boat was sinking?"

"A guy came around to every cabin and told us that the boat hit a rock and that there is now a hole. He told us not to worry but for safety measures we need to put on our life vests." I know that Jane is trying to stay calm through this. 

"Okay where are the life vests?"

"There out on the deck, and we need to go get them now."

"Okay." I got up, and Jane and my parents were following me. I think that I know the boat better than any of them so I guess I would be the leader. I walked out of our room with out taking anything with me. I slipped on my favorite pair of converse and we left. 

We walked down the familiar hallway in silence. I knew that we were all freaking out inside. There was a few other people that we going out to the deck to and when we got there it was packed full of people. It's a good thing that Jane was with us or else I don't think we would have gotten through all those people to the life jackets.

We finally got there and got all of out life jackets on. There was a lot of people that were shouting and crying and talking to there family's. Was this hole really that bad?

I walked over to the edge with Jane  and my parents following me. I looked over the railing and I was shocked at how close the water was! It was only like 20 feet away from the railing! Then it hit me. The boat is sinking, and we have to get off it.

Somewhere in the crowd there was a shout.

"EVERY ONE GET ON TO THE LIFE BOATS!" 

There was a huge rush and soon every one was running to the sides of the boats. There was a mass of people around me all of the sudden and I didn't know what to do. I looked over to my side where Jane was standing, but now she was gone. I looked all around me for my parents but now all I saw were strangers. The life boats were being lowered down and there were people that were already jumping off the sides into them. I had to find my family and we had to get on a life boat. 

I was pushing past people just like Jane would do, but it was no use. I couldn't see them any where in the crowd of scared and frightened people. There was just to many of them, but then someone grabbed my arm. I was praying that it was Jane or my mom, or my dad, or even Taylor, but when I turned to look I saw it was a complete stranger.

"Miss you have to get off this boat now!" He had to shout because everyone around us was so loud. he looked like he was a worker on the boat.

"No! My-my family is on here some where!" 

"Miss your family have probably already gotten on the life boats!" That thought had never occurred to me. I really hope hes right. "There's no more boats left!" 

"Wait then how will all of these people get off!?" I looked around to all of the people that were still on the boat with me. He gave me sad eyes. Oh. I remembered back to all of the young people that I saw coming on this boat. I hope that they were on the boats. Wait, if all of the boats are gone, then how will I get off? Oh god. I think I already knew the answer. 

"Miss we are running out of time the boat is sinking fast!" He dragged me over to the edge. "Miss I'm sorry but you have a better chance out there than you do on here!"

"But what about my family?!" He never answered my question because after I asked he through me off of the boat into the freezing Pacific ocean.
