I'm drowning in vicious static. It's buzzing constantly throwing my brain into relentless chaos. My head is buzzing, and I can feel my limbs crackle and pop like the static that surrounds me. Helplessly I attempt to crawl, but I cannot see any destination. Shadowy figures form amidst the discord. Demonic glares pierce me like thorns, creating holes all over my body. Their whispers wrap around my throat and choke almost all the air from my feeble lungs.
The view changes.
The static, once monotone, is now agonizingly bright. Flashing colors that constantly change and distort. The demons are now screaming, making my ears trickle with blood. My jaw clenches as the agonizing noise perforates through my skull.
"RUN."
"GET OUT."
"GET AWAY."
"ESCAPE."
"CONTROL."
I desperately claw through the static, but this only causes an increase in volume. My whole body starts buzzing violently, and starts to disintegrate whatever common sense is left inside me. A scream tries to escape from my lips, but instead of leaving my mouth, it swarms inside me. My memories start to blur, and shatter into thousands of shards, which fall in front of me. I try to grab them, but they slice my hands, and then turn to dust, leaving me with a mind that cannot remember. I'm nothing but a fragment of what I used to be.
I am nothing but a useless vessel that cannot speak, cannot remember, and cannot escape.
If I had a remote, I could change the channel. I could escape this horrid place, but I lost the remote somewhere in reality. All I can do now, is wait for the satellite to bring me back into the world. However, my vessel is scattering into the static at a rapid rate, leaving me with no hope of escape.
I am left for the chaos to consume what little there is left of me.
