Child of Darkness

One minute I'm fine, the next my light is gone. I'm trapped in darkness. There's a lighter in my hand but I neither have the strength to light it, nor the courage. Darkness wraps herself around me; a twisted, distorted comfort within her putrid texture. She whispers,

"Oh pathetic child, soon you shall stay forever with me,

For you have no clue how alone you'll be.

I will carefully wrap your regrets and fear,

Because you know I shall always be near.

So dear worthless child, stay awhile.

They'll never know that's a feigned smile."

I carefully listen to her words, yet they do not morph into any sentence structure in my mind. A roach scuttles about. I cannot see him, but I feel him. His legs make his way upon my hand, then they crawl up my arm, to my neck. I attempt to struggle, but Darkness holds me down.

"Sh sh sh.

Dear sinful monster, let it be.

Your senses soon won't see."

The roach continues his wicked journey. I feel his sickening, warped smile. A smile that shouldn't dare be in such a situation. His legs gently brush my lips. Their spiky barbs catching ever so slightly.

My heart violently palpitates. Pounding like a bomb, about to explode. My eyes and throat rapidly convulse with the abrupt overtaking of fear, yet no sound emits from my dim, fading body.

Those barbs are soon felt between my lip, as well as a repugnant, velvety backside. I reel my tongue back as far as it willingly can go as he crawls upon my teeth. My teeth decay as he touches them. My eyes widen, pleading for anyone to help. Only Darkness can see my pain and fear. She brushes her jagged talons gently across my cheek, wiping away my one, isolated tear.

"Accept your fate,

It's too late.

You can't be saved.

You are enslaved."

He slowly claws his way down my throat, and all I can do is attempt to not choke. More tears soon form together, and stream from my face, attempting to escape. What they do not know is that they are forever trapped here with me. They acknowledge this quick enough, as I feel Darkness wrap around them.

I still feel his movements. The Peristalsis greedily helps him along, excited to welcome a new member.

Suddenly, Darkness trails her way inside me as well, as shrieks of a banshee emit from her scathed throat. The Peristalsis gags, saying this member is not welcome, but Darkness shuts him up. The pain is almost unbearable. My throat rips into shreds, my eyes' stream grows to a waterfall.

Suddenly, there is no feeling.

There is no emotion.

There is only darkness.
