You run out the door, and collapse onto the ground beneath you, gasping for air. As you look around, the black void consumes you, leaving uncertainty. You hear scritching noises that leave you paranoid. I know the darkness is scary, when you look around and can't see anything. Fear of the unknown is horrifying, but it's only through darkness that you can see the stars twinkle brightly. You can raise your head to the moon and breathe, for it will always provide you light. The scritches are only the wind rustling the branches.
You are okay now,
for you are finally free.
