Payton was talking to Maddie backstage. It was Monday and they are performing. (Let's just pretend they perform on Mondays) "So how's the young love?" Maddie asks smiling. "Could have never been happier!" Payton smiles and laughs. "You guys are honestly the cutest." Maddie smiles. "Thanks Maddie! You're so sweet!" Payton smiles and hugs Maddie. Daniel comes up behind Payton and tries to scare her. Maddie sees daniel and Daniel puts his finger against his mouth to signal Maddie to not tell Payton. "I know you're behind me Daniel!" Payton says still looking at Maddie and Maddie laughs. "How'd you know?!" Daniel whines. "Because I'm looking at Maddie's eyes and she's looking at something and smiling." Payton turns around to Daniel. "Plus that cologne you wear, I can smell from miles." Payton laughs. "It's not that strong!" Daniel sniffs his shirt. "Actually it is." Maddie tells Daniel. "Fine, I'll go wash it off!" Daniel whines and walks away. "He's so cute." Maddie laughs. "Sure is! But sometimes he's just too cute!" Payton smiles. Maddie laughs and walks away. Payton walks over to the front of the boys bathroom and waits for Daniel. She pulls out her phone and waits for Daniel. Payton hears the sink turn off and Payton hits record pointing to the bathroom door. Daniel opens the door and Payton pops out from the side and scares Daniel. "OH MY GOD! Pay!" Daniel laughs. "I love you!" Payton laughs and stop recording. "Cute." Daniel laughs. Payton posts the video tags Daniel in it. "So..." Daniel puts his arm around Payton. "Whatcha singing tonight?" Daniel asks. "That's a surprise." Payton tells him. "But I wannnnnaaaa knoooowww!" Daniel whines. "Geez, why are you so whiny today?" Payton laughs. "Im just tryna be cute." Daniel flutters his eyes. Payton laughs and rolls her eyes. "You're already a cutie." Payton pinches his cheek. Daniel laughs and kisses Payton on the cheek. "What are you singing?" Payton smiles. "Well I'm not telling you, if you won't tell me." Daniel says. "Ugh fine. If that's how you wanna play it." Daniel laughs and smiles. "Well, good luck tonight and I'll see you around?" Payton asks. "Of course! Can't wait!" Daniel smiles. Payton hugs Daniel and walks to her dressing room. "Do you guys watch Empire??" Payton asks Jax and Maddie. "Yea why?" Jax says turning around. "Well me and Danny watch it every Wednesday and we were talking about how Yazz and Jussie should perform." Payton says. "You know, that would be really cool." Maddie says. "Right?!" Payton points to Maddie. "Well it's too bad we can't talk to Ryan or the judges." Payton says. "But it would be amazing!" Maddie says. "Well I'm gonna go to the stands. I'll save you guys seats." Payton says walking to the door. "Cool! I'll actually come." Jax says getting up. "Maddie?" Payton looks at Maddie. "I'll meet you guys up there." Maddie smiles. "K, see Ya later." Jax and Payton walk out to the stands. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the show started.
"Welcome... To American idol!" Ryan starts the show. "Right now we have the top 12 boys performing for you votes tonight! They will be chosen from last weeks votes." Ryan says. "We have our top 12 girls up in the stands ready to perform later but..." Ryan looks at the boys. "Right now, we will see who the first boy makes it through..." Ryan looks at the crowd. "Good luck to you gentleman and let's see who makes it through first." Ryan says opening the American Idol envelope to revel the first to make it through to the top 8. "The first person to make it through is........." Ryan says with a dramatic pause. "Daniel Seavey!!!!" The cameras point at Daniel. Everyone claps and cheers while Daniel makes it up to the stage.

Daniels Intro
"I used to play this little purple and yellow guitar..and I had a little mic." Then it shows footage from when Daniel was maybe 3 or 4 singing with his guitar and mic (too cute it should be illegal). "It's pretty great." Daniel smiles. "People always look at me as like a little kid because of my size, I'm really serious about my music because it's a career. I know I'm so young, but still, you know this could be the rest of my life." Daniel finishes and smiles.

The cameras point to Payton jumping up and down smiling for Daniel. Daniel gets on stage and starts to sing "How Sweet It Is" by Marvin Gaye. He sings his heart out and finishes with an outstanding ending. Everyone claps and cheers and Daniels smiling. "Hey Daniel!!!" Keith yells. "Woooo!" Keith cheers. "You made it man!" Keith smiles. "You hanging with the big dogs!" Keith laughs. "Yea!!!" Daniel smiles. "I'm so happy to see you up there! That was a good song for you to do." Keith says. "You got a, for me, all you need is to just keep doing this, right? Which is just confidence and being comfortable up there and if you're doing a song like that, don't be so stuck with the melody with the, in that case, "how sweet it is"... Keith sings. "It's very low for you just to "how sweet it is..!" Keith sings with more energy. "You know what I mean? Just get in to it man." Keith smiles. "Yea." Daniel smiles cheekily. "Cause you have a lot going on, I really like that." Keith finishes "Absolutely!" JLo says. "I feel like you're so talented, and it's nice to see you getting more relaxed up there, actually saw you more relaxed, you're actually having more fun." JLo continues. "Song again, like it was a little bit low for you. I wish I could've heard you but, already, everybody's seeing kind of you as a musician with your talent and I think you know, you're gonna be a favorite around here." JLo smiles and finishes. "Thank you." Daniel blushes and smiles and everyone cheers. "What's happening man?" Harry smiles. "We all know you're extremely talented, very gifted musician and very cute and adorable and all that stuff. Harry starts saying "but let me cut right to the chase, when you do a beat which is a shuffle..." Harry makes beat sounds "you need to have this incredible band push you along. I didn't feel like you were singing and swinging hard enough with this group. It was really sweet for Payton...." Harry raises his eyebrows and laughs and the crowd cheers. "Are you gonna do that every time?" Keith asks. "Maybe." Harry says and JLo laughs. "Anyway, it was really sweet, but you really need to feel what they're doing." Harry says "and when you move to the beat and accents, I felt like you thought about that. Let them dictate what your body does." Harry says. "And sing that shuffle. It's gotta grove harder." Harry finishes. "Ok thank you!" Daniel smiles. "One more time for Daniel!" Ryan comes out and the crowd cheers. Daniel smiles and goes backstage. Ryan introduced the rest of the 24 who got in. The 4 that didn't get through was Riley Bria, Savion Wright, Micheal Simeon and...Payton's best friend Trevor Douglas. Payton was upset that Trevor wouldn't be with her anymore.
After the show, the American idol rejects went back to the hotel. Payton went backstage to find Daniel. She spotted him and she runs into his arms. "DANNY YOU MADE IT!!!" Payton smiles and laughs. "I know!!!! Oh my gosh it's crazy." Daniel laughs. "You did great!" Payton smiles. "Thank you." Daniel hugs Payton. "Well I have to get ready. I'll see you later." Payton smiles and leaves. The next show didn't start for another hour so Payton snuck out and had a driver take her to the hotel where Trevor was. She arrived at the hotel and went to find the guys room. Payton knocked on the door and Trevor answered. "Payton?! What are you doing here?!" Trevor asks. Payton didn't say anything. She just had tears in her eyes and hugged Trevor. "I'm sorry Trevor." Payton says in his arms. "Hey, it's not your fault." Trevor breaks the hug. "I know, but this was your dream. And I don't want you to leave." Payton looks at Trevor. "Hey.." Trevor wipes a tear away. "This is not last of me." Trevor tells Payton. "I promise, I will visit you as soon as I come back." Payton smiles. "And I promise I will watch you every week. I'll talk to you everyday." Trevor says. Payton hangs out with the guys for 30 minutes. She checks the time and sees that the shows starts in 20 minutes. "Oh my gosh, guys I have to go." Payton gets up. "I'm sorry again guys I love you!" Payton hugs them. "I'll see you guys later!" Payton walks over to door and opens. "Good luck!" Trevor yells over at Payton. Payton stops and turns around and looks at Trevor and smiles. She leaves the room and rushes to the nearest taxi.

Daniel and Maddie are looking everywhere for Payton. "Hey Jax!" Maddie goes over to Jax. "Hey guys!" Jax smiles. "Have you seen Payton?" Daniel asks. "No I thought she was you Daniel." Jax tells Daniel. "She just disappeared!" Daniel says. "We looked everywhere!" Maddie says. "And the shows starts in 30 minutes!" Daniel panics. "Ok calm down. We'll split up, ask everyone and if we can't find her 15 minutes before the show I'll tell Ryan." Jax says. Everyone splits up and looks everywhere for Payton. "Adam!" Daniel runs over to adam. "Hey! Where's Payton? Show starts in 15 minutes?" Adam looks at Daniel. "I don't know!!! That's what I was gonna ask you!" Daniel says. "Well I'll look for her for you." Adam offers. "Thanks Adam!" Daniel smiles. Daniel meets up with Maddie and Jax. "Any luck?" Daniel asks. "No!!! You?" Jax asks. "No!!!" Daniel panics. "Guys!!! I'm here I'm here!" Payton runs it. "Dude! Where were you?!?!" Maddie asks. "I'll tell you later!! Danny go up to the stands. I'm gonna touch up." Payton says to Daniel kissing him on the cheek and goes with Maddie to touch up. Daniel smiles and goes over to the stands and sits next to Adam and Clark. "You found her?" Adam asks. "Yes we did!" Daniel smiles. Payton was there just in time for the cameras to start rolling.
And Ryan introduces the girls and the judges and starts the performances. First chosen, Adanna, Maddie, Joey and then Jax. "Next to go through to the competition......." Ryan starts the dramatic pause. Daniel's up in the stands nervously waiting. "Payton Vaughns." Ryan says saying Payton's name. Payton stood there in shock and everyone cheered. Payton sees her friends in the crowd cheering and looks up at Daniel who's jumping up and down.

Payton's Intro
"I've been watching this show for the longest time. I had this small black guitar and everyday I would play just random chords. Then I actually got a real guitar and I started getting lessons." Payton says "I'm here to prove people wrong. Because I'm young, people told me that I wouldn't be able to become as big as these other singers because I'm too immature. But look at me now!" Payton laughs. "I love being here. Not only because of the singing, but because of the people here and the people out there, they support me." Payton says. "They helped me when no one else did." Payton tears up. "I'm just showing everyone that doubted that I can do what it take to get close to my dream." Payton finishes.

Payton went up stage and started singing Who's Loving You by Micheal Jackson. She finished her outstanding performance and everyone cheered and screamed. "Payton!" Keith smiles. "Hello!" Payton laughs. "You made it!" Keith says. "I know it's crazy!" Payton smiles. "That was an excellent performance and an excellent song for you." Keith says. "I love your voice and it's beautiful. I think that the song was a little too high for you." Keith starts to say. "Like what said to Daniel last time, except his was too low, yours was a little too high so all I'm saying is just level it down just little and would have been perfect." Keith smiles. "Thank you." Payton says. "Well beautiful you are very talented for such a young lady like you, the performance would be a little better if your voice wasn't too high. But overall, it was amazing." JLo smiles. "Thank you so much." Payton laughs. "Well, I liked it a lot. I love the song, I love your voice and I loved your energy up there." Harry starts to say. "Again, you voice was just a notch too high but you were still wonderful and Im very happy for you." Harry smiles. "Thank you so much!" Payton smiles. "Give it up for Payton Vaughns one last time!" Ryan walks out on stage. Ryan introduced the rest of the top 24 that made it through. Shi Scott, Lovey James, Shannon Berthiaume, and Katherine Winston didn't make it through. At the end of the show, everyone wen backstage and met up with each other to go back to the hotel.
