"Daniel...wake up." Daniel's mom shakes him. "Whaaaat?" Daniel groans. "You have to get up." Daniels mom laughs. "Whhyyy?" Daniel whines. "It's time to go back to school." Daniels mom says. "Why today????" Daniel complains. "You need to go. Is required. You've been gone for over 3 months." Daniels mom explains. "Plus, don't you want to see your other friends and teachers?" Daniels mom asks. "No." Daniel laughs. "Get up." Daniel's mom leaves. Daniel finally gets up and checks his phone. He calls Payton and waits for her to answer. "Morning sunshine!" Payton answers. "You always know how to make me smile." Daniel smirks. "Aww well I'm just glad you have a smile." Payton laughs. "Starting school today?" Payton asks. "Don't remind me!" Daniel whines. "Come on Danny. You've been missing out a lot. Plus, don't you want to be a normal boy?" Payton laughs. "I do. But you know its school. People are gonna treat me differently." Daniel explains. "I know but you'll get through it. I'll be there for you." Payton says. "Thanks Twizzler. I'll watch you this week by the way. Can't wait." Daniel smiles. "It's just gonna be different." Payton says. "It's ok...just know I'll be watching." Daniel smiles. "Thanks Danny. Means a lot." Payton says. "Anytime. Hey I got to get going. I'll talk to you later. Love you." Daniel tells Payton. "I love you too." Payton smiles and hangs up. "Danny! Breakfast is ready!" Daniels brother walks in. "Yea..I'll be there." Daniel stretches. He gets up and gets dressed and heads downstairs to meet with his family. "Morning superstar!" Daniels dad greets him. "Morning dad." Daniel smiles. "Ready for your first day back?" His mom asks. "I guess." Daniel slightly smiles. "You'll be fine Daniel." His mom walks over and kisses his forehead. He finishes breakfast and his mom drives him and his brother to school. "You ready?" Daniels brother asks. "Let's do this. Bye mom!" Daniel gets out of the car. Him and his brother walk to the cafeteria where they hang out till the first bell rings. Daniel walks in and everyone spots him and cheers and claps. Daniel smiles and sees his friends and sees a big banner that says "WELCOME BACK DANIEL" Daniel smiles and walks to where his friends were. "Hi Daniel!" Everyone greets him on his way. "Hey man you're back today!" Daniel's friend Christian greets him. "Yea dude. It's great." Daniel smiles. Daniel and his friends chat for a while and they head to class.
After about a couple classes, Daniel and his friends head to lunch. "So how you and your female friend?" Christian teases. "We are doing pretty well. I miss her. I miss everyone." Daniel smiles. "Have you guys ever thought about writing with each other?" Christian asks. "We have. We just never had time." Daniel laughs. "Oh no." Christian looks behind Daniel. "What?" Daniel asks confused and looks behind him. He sees the cheerleading squad walking toward his table. "Ever since you been gone, Jess has been saying how she's gonna ask you out." Christian whispers. "Hey Daniel." The head cheerleader, Jess, sits next to Daniel. "Heyyyy..." Daniel says uncomfortably and slowly shifts away. "So...I was wondering if you wanted to hang out on Wednesday and come watch us practice." Jess looks at Daniel. "Thanks but no thanks I'm busy." Daniel slightly smiles. "Doing what?" Jess laughs. "Well, I'm doing somethings with my family and I'm watching the show." Daniel says. "Can't you just skip the show?" Jess scoffs. "No. I made a promise. And I'm keeping it." Daniel laughs. "What's the point? You're not even in anymore." Jess laughs. "Yes. But Payton and everyone else is." Daniel explains. "Oh...her." Jess said with a disgusted look. "Problem?" Daniel asks. "Oh no. Well, you can go support your little girlfriend or whatever. But you better be free Friday." Jess says looking at Daniel and then stands up and walks away along with the rest of the squad. "I have a feeling she's only wanting to date you just cause you're "famous" now." Christian tells Daniel. "No kidding. Jess had no interest in me before the show. In fact, I think she didn't even knew I existed." Daniel laughs. "You're not interested in her are you?" Christian asks. Daniel just looked at him and slapped him. "Ow! What was that for?!" Christian laughs. "For asking that ridiculous question." Daniel laughs. "Chill I was just asking." Christian puts his hands up in defense. "No. I'm not interested in some cheerleader. I like Payton." Daniel smiles. "I will gladly take that answer." Christian says. "Wanna come over tonight after school?" Daniel asks. "Yea sure!" Christian smiles.

"MOOOM! CHRISTIAN'S HERE!" Daniel yells walking downstairs and heading to the door to answer it. "Hey man!" Daniel answers the door. "Hey Daniel! What's up?" Christian smiles and walks in. Daniel and Christian hang out in Daniels room and Payton calls Daniel for a FaceTime. "Hey Payton's calling. Wanna meet her?" Daniel looks at Christian. "Sure!" Christian smiles and Daniel answers the call. "TWIZZLER!" Daniel answers and sees Payton. "Hey Danny! How was today?" Payton smiles. "Not bad. Missed you." Daniel smiles. "I missed you too!" Payton laughs. "Hey I want you to meet my best friend Christian." Daniel says and Christian gets into the camera. "Hi Payton!" Christian smiles and waves. "Hi! Nice to meet you!" Payton waves back. "You too! You're really good by the way." Christian tells Payton. "Thank you!" Payton smiles. "So was everyone happy you were back?" Payton asks Daniel. "Yea everyone was just congratulating me and everything." Daniel smiles. "Yea and you will not believe what happened today!" Christian looks at Payton. "Dude!" Daniel hits Christian. "Danny?" Payton asks confused. "Nothing bad happened I promise." Daniel starts to say. "So there's this girl, Jess, and she's cheerleading captain and the most popular girl in school and she wasn't technically hitting on me but she was like flirting." Daniel explains. "Oh." Payton says with a shocked look. "Don't worry I wasn't flirting back! She asked if she wanted me to hang out and come with her to practice on Wednesday...." Daniel starts to say. "But I told her I'm busy and I'm gonna be watching you and everything." Daniel explains. "Relax Daniel, I believe you." Payton laughs. "You know I would never hurt you." Daniel tells Payton. "I know you won't." Payton smiles. "I love you." Daniel looks at Payton. "I love you too!" Payton smiles. "AHEM!" Christian clears his throat awkwardly. "Haha well I should get going." Payton says. "Alright. I'll talk to you later" Daniel smiles. "K. Nice meeting you Christian!" Payton tells Christian. "You too!" Christian smiles. Daniel and Payton hang up the phone. "She's a keeper." Christian says. "Thanks man." Daniel laughs. "You know what we should do.." Christian looks at Daniel. "What?" Daniel asks. "We should throw a watch party for Payton!" Christian says. "You are a genius!!!!" Daniel smiles. "Alright, let's make invitations and we'll hand them out tomorrow." Daniel stands up. "Whatcha boys up to?" Daniel's dad walks in. "Hey dad! Can we throw a watch party Wednesday for Payton?!" Daniel asks. "It's gonna be s school night." Daniel's dad says. "PLEASSSE daddy?!" Daniel whines like a little boy. "It's alright with me if it's alright with your mom." Daniel's dad laughs. "Yay! Thanks dad! Me and Christian are making invitations and we'll pass them out." Daniel says. "Alright cool. You can invite up to 8 people." Daniel's dad smiles and walks out. Christian and Daniel continue to make invitations and print them out.

"Looks good! Do we have enough?" Daniel looks at the invitations. "Looks good!" Christian smiles. "Awesome. Thanks for helping!" Daniel smiles.

"RT if I should prank Ryan on the show tonight!!!! 😂👍🏼" Payton tweets. After 5 minutes, 100 people already retweeted it.
"Hey Payton! You ready to go?" Jax asks Payton walking into the room. "Yep let's go." Payton gets up and grabs everything she needs. Payton and Jax meet with everyone and they head to the arena. "Awww!" Payton looks down at her phone. "What?" Jax looks at Payton. "Guys look what Daniel posted!" Payton smiles. Everyone looks at Daniel's Twitter and sees a picture he posted. "Watch party for everyone!" Daniel captioned with a picture of the invitation. "Ok, Daniel is literally the sweetest!" Tyanna smiles. "You're so lucky!" Joey smiles. "Thanks guys." Payton smiles. They arrive at the arena and head backstage for hair and makeup.
"Hey Payton!" Jax walks in. "Oh hey jax! Wow...you look amazing...as always." Payton laughs. "Thanks! You look great too!" Jax smiles. "Thanks!" Payton smiles and hears her phone go off. "It's Danny." Payton smiles and answers the FaceTime call. "Hey Danny!" Payton smiles. "Hey Payton! Look who's here!" Daniel points the camera to everyone in the room. "Oh my gosh, how many people are there?" Payton asks. "Only invited 8 people." Daniel smiles. "Thanks Daniel. We all appreciate that." Payton smiles. "Anything for you guys." Daniel says. "Hey Jax and Rayvon are here!" Payton points the camera to the two. "Danny!" Rayvon greets Daniel. "Rayvon! Jax! How you guys doing?" Daniel smiles. "Hi Danny! We are great! You?" Jax smiles. "Great! Can't wait for you guys to perform! Everyone's here!" Daniel smiles. "That's crazy! Thanks dude." Rayvon smiles. "10 minutes guys." Quentin walks in. "Hey Danny!" Quentin spots Daniel. "Sup dude!" Daniel smiles. "Thanks for the party!" Quentin laugh so. "No problem! You guys get going." Daniel says. "Alright. Bye danny!" Payton smiles. "Later good luck!" Daniel says and hangs up. "Alright let's get going." Payton puts her phone away and she pulls the air horn out of her bag. "Not again!!!" Jax complains. "Relax! The fans wanna see what they wanna see!" Payton smirks. Everyone else just have confused looks on their faces. "Just watch come on." Payton puts the air horn in her back pocket and they head out to the lounge.
The show started and Ryan came out and everyone cheered. Payton was sitting and a guy from the backstage crew took her and leaded her backstage. "All right we have everyone in our lounge and they will be performing based on your votes." Ryan says. "Make sure you stay tuned for the next idol fan save using twitter." Ryan says and everyone claps. Ryan keeps talking and Payton sneaks up onstage. She puts her finger on her mouth to signal everyone not to make a noise. Everyone stays quiet and hold in their laughters. "Remember you can vote texting their number, going on American idol super vote or go....." Ryan starts to say. Before he could finish, Payton positions the air horn behind Ryan and sets it off causing Ryan to get scared and run away. Everyone dies laughing and cheers. Everyone claps and Ryan just looks at Payton and smiles. "Ok, what was that?" Ryan walks over to Payton. "Air horn." Payton laughs. "Where on earth did you get that?" Ryan asks. "Daniel gave it to me!" Payton laughs. "Well the queen of pranks has struck!" JLo says up to Payton and everyone cheers. "What made you wanna do that?" Ryan asks and laughs. "Well I've been bugging it with everyone the past weekend so I thought why not ask the VIP's and see if I should prank someone during the show. So I chose you." Payton explains and everyone cheers. "Well thank you for that Payton." Ryan laughs. Everyone cheers and Payton heads off stage towards the lounge. She clasp everyone in the lounge and takes a seat. "Alright now that that's over..." Ryan starts to say. "Who will be the first person to perform for your votes?" Ryan starts the dramatic pause and the chairs turn red. "The first person making it through is......." Ryan starts to say. "The queen of pranks Payton Vaughns!" Ryan says and Payton's chair turns green. She laughs and everyone claps. She stands up and hugs everyone and makes her way to the stage. "How you feeling Payton?" Ryan asks Payton. "Feeling pretty good. I'm excited!" Payton smiles. "Alright well check out your mentor session with Jason." Ryan says and the clip from the mentor session started.
After the clip, Payton was ready to perform. Everyone cheered and the music started. Payton started singing Stay With Me by Sam Smith. She finished and everyone clapped. "Payton!! Queen of pranks!" Keith laughs. "Hi!" Payton smiles. "I'm just gonna start off by saying that, you did a great job on that song! You put a lot of emotion into it and I really liked it." Keith finishes. "Thank you." Payton smiles. "Yea I'm gonna agree with Keith on that..." Harry says. "The only thing was that it was a little too deep for your range and it was a little distracting going from a very low to that high part." Harry explains. "But overall, it was good." Harry finishes. "Thank you!" Payton smiles. "Harry's right it was a little deep for your vocal range but it was still very good. You showed a lot of emotion and I felt that connection with you and it was just good stage presence and everything." JLo smiles. "Thank you." Payton smiles and everyone claps and Ryan walks out to Payton. "How you feeling Payton?" Ryan asks. "I'm doing good actually. You know a lot has been going on but I've been trying to focus on this and I like to thank all of my VIP's, my supporters." Payton says and everyone cheers. "VIP's?" Ryan asks confused. "It's my fandom name. They are very important people and it's also my initials backwards including my middle name. So it's Vaughns Indigo Payton." Payton explains. "That's clever. Alright well congratulations you can head back to the lounge and no more pranks." Ryan laughs. Everyone claps and Payton heads back to the lounge.
The show ends with Qaasim leaving. Payton goes back stage along with Clark for some interviews and meets with Chris.
"Hi!" Payton greets Chris and hugs him. "How are you?" Chris asks. "I'm good! Let's just start rolling!" Payton smiles. "What's up guys it's Chris and I'm here with Payton Vaughns and Claek Beckham." Chris introduces the two. "Hello!" Clark smiles. "So first I want to say that you both did fantastic tonight." Chris says. "Thank you!" Payton and Clark say at the same time. "Ok just to get it out of the way, Payton, what's the whole prank things. Are you the biggest prankster?" Chris asks. "Yea I am!" Payton laughs. "It's always an air horn or something like that she has!" Clark laughs. "So you had to do a little prank on Ryan in front of live TV?" Chris laughs. "The fans want they want." Payton laughs. "What's one of her favorite pranks that she did maybe on you or someone else?" Chris asks Clark. "This ones easy. Ok so one time, she did this with Daniel, one time I was in the recording booth and they were both in there. So, as I was singing, they turned my pitch to like a chipmunk high and I didn't even know it." Clark explains and Payton laughs. "What's yours?" Clark turns to Payton. "Probably the air horn I did on nick and Tyanna." Payton says. "Oh my gosh I saw that!" Chris laughs. "You did?! Nicks reaction though." Payton laughs. "Didn't he take it away from you?" Clark asks. "Yea!" Payton laughs. "Wait he took away from you?" Chris asks. "Yea! It was stupid he just took away from me!" Payton laughs. Payton and Clark finish their interview and continue on to some more. The rest of the night, everyone hung out and Payton couldn't go to bed without saying goodnight to Daniel.
