Good Luck Ring

"Darling, I..will be loving you..till we're 70..." Payton hears a voice in her sleep. She wakes up and still hears the voice. "And baby my.... heart..could still fall as hard at 23.." Payton smiles listening to the voice. "So honey now, take me into your loving arms..." She listens and looks behind her. "Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars." She sees daniel sitting next her singing with a guitar and everyone around the bed with Jax recording. She laughs and blushes. "Place your hand on my beating heart...thinking out loud." Daniel sings. Payton blushes and hides her face. "Maybe we found love right where we are." Daniel sings and finishes. Everyone claps and Daniel takes the pillow off of Payton's grip and she's red as a tomato. Payton covers her face in her hands and tears up as she sits up. "Don't look at me!" Payton says and everyone laughs. She looks up and Daniel and hugs him. "Awwwww!" Everyone gushes and Jax stops recording. "Who's ready for emblem3?!!?!?" Daniel says excited and Payton laughs. "Meeeee!" Payton smiles. The other guys leave for breakfast leaving Payton and Daniel in the room. "So..." Payton stands up and grabs her hairbrush. "What's the plan for today?" Payton asks brushing her hand. "Well I was thinking....we go out for the day." Daniel says setting down his guitar. "Maybe do a little shopping and go out for lunch around Hollywood." Daniel stands up walking over towards Payton. "Then we will go to the show is at 2, and then we go back for recording at 6." Daniel explains. "And we'll be recording for about 2 hours and then after we could go on walk for a beach." Daniel says. "That sounds great!" Payton smiles at Daniel. "It's 10 now, so we'll leave in an hour for brunch!" Daniel says. "Sweet! I should take a shower I look and feel gross." Payton laughs. "No you don't you look beautiful!" Daniel walks over to Payton and kisses her forehead. Daniel leaves and Payton takes a shower. She gets out and gets dressed and dries her hair. She checks her phone and sees the video of Daniel singing to her trending. Payton smiles and continues getting ready.
She finishes getting ready and head out to the room and sees Jax on the bed. "Hey jaxy!" Payton smiles. "Hey squirt! You excited?" Jax smiles. "Yep! I'm gonna talk to Ryan real quick and then meet Daniel downstairs." Payton says. "Awesome! Hey, congrats on the video going viral." Jax laughs. Payton smiles and grabs her phone and purse. "Well, I'll see you at the recording. Later!" Payton walks over to the door. "Bye!!!" Jax yells and Payton leaves. She walks over to Ryan's hotel room and knocks on it. "Hey Payton!" Ryan opens the door. "Hey Ryan! Could I talk to you for like 5 minutes?" Payton asks. "Yes of course! Come on in!" Ryan smiles. Payton walks in and takes a seat. "Can I get you something to drink?" Ryan asks. "Nope I'm good thank you." Payton smiles. "Alright.." Ryan takes a seat. "Whatcha wanna talk about?" Ryan asks. "Well, next week is 80's week and we are recording tonight our songs right?" Payton looks at Ryan. "Yes we are!" Ryan smiles. "The problem is that, I can't find a perfect song. But I do have a song in my head but I'm afraid I can't sing that because someone else has sang it before." Payton explain. "So I was curious and wanted to ask if a contestant can sing a song that another contestant sang in the past like maybe two weeks ago?" Payton asks. "You know, I'm gonna have to talk to the judges about that. I'm fine with that but I'm just gonna confirm with them and I'll text you before you start recording." Ryan smiles. "Awesome! Thanks so much!" Payton smiles and stands up. "No problem! Anytime!" Ryan stands up and hugs Payton. "Alright I'll get going, thanks again Ryan!" Payton walks over to the door. She leaves Ryan's room and heads down to the lobby where Daniel is. "Hey Danny, sorry I'm a little late." Payton smiles. "No it's fine." Daniel smiles and takes Payton hand. "So, what's for brunch?" Payton asks. "Well I'm having the driver take us to In N Out!" Daniel smiles. "Omg yay!" Payton jumps and smiles. They went to In N Out and ate there and by the time it was 12:30.
"Well, I think we are done here!" Daniel laughs. They pay for the food and left. "We have time to do a little walking around..." Daniel says. "Yea that's cool. Let's go!" Payton smiles. The two told the driver they would be gone for an hour and they walked around the blvd. They had the time of their lives shopping and spending time. Payton then gets a text from Ryan and she smiles.
"Hey Danny, what time is it?" Payton asks. "It's 1, we should find the driver." Daniel says and they walk out to the driver. The driver then drove the two to the concert. Daniel gets out and opens the door for Payton. They walk into the little arena followed by a small portion of the camera crew and see a bunch of people. They walked around to find a seat and they killed time by getting noticed by fans and taking pictures. "Hi! Can we get a picture?" A fan asks the two. "Yea of course!" Payton smiles. The fan takes a picture with Payton and Daniel and smiles. "Thank you guys!" The fan says. "No problem!" Daniel smiles. "I just wanted to say that you guys are my favorite and you guys changed my life and I love you for that." The fan thanks the two. "Aww thank you! I love you!" Payton smiles at the fan. "Your love makes me love myself and you inspired me to become who I am, and just thank you again." The fan smiles. "You know what..." Payton turns to the fan and looks at her. "I want you to have this." Payton says taking off her ring. "This ring was the first ring I performed with. This was my good luck ring and it gave me power to become great at what I can do." Payton takes the fan sharpie and signs her initials onto the ring. She takes the fans hand and opens it. She places the ring on the palm of the fans hand and closes the hand. "Now it's yours." Payton smiles looking at the fan. The fan is in tears and smiling. "Thank you so much!" The fan smiles and hugs Payton. "You're welcome. This ring will give you power and accomplish your dreams." Payton smiles. "Thank you again!" The fan smiles. "What's you name?" Payton asks. "Jessica." She answers. "Well Jessica, you were born to be a star. And when all else fails, love will be there." Payton smiles. "Thank you." Jessica cries and hugs Payton. "You have fun today!" Payton says and leaves. "You are the best person ever!" Daniel smiles at Payton. "She reminds me of how I wanted to become what I love." Payton explains. Daniel smiles and kisses Payton and they head to find some seats. The show starts and the emblem3 boys came out, Wes and Keaton. They sang new songs and Payton was jamming. The show went on for an hour and it ended and Daniel and Payton went in line for the meet n greet. They waited for 15 minutes and they were first in line. It was finally their turn to meet the boys. Payton walks up and the boys notice them. "Heyy! There's Dayton!" Wes laughs and Payton smiles. "Hi guys! It's nice to meet you!" Payton hugs keaton and wes. "You too! We've been watching the show and you guys are amazing!" Keats says to Daniel and Payton. "Thank you!" Daniel smiles. "And I loved your performance for Love Will Be There. You guys did awesome!" Wes says. "Thank you guys! It means so much!" Payton blushes. The guys took a couple picture with the brothers. There was one of Daniel kissing Paytons cheek and wes and keaton behind them making a heart shape out of their arms. Another picture with Daniel and Wes on the side together and keaton kissing Payton's cheek. And the last picture of Payton on Daniels back and keaton on wes back. Cute. "Thank you guys!" Daniel says to the boys. "No problem. Good luck!" Keaton says and hugs Payton. Daniel and Payton left the arena with amazing memories. Daniel left with a good luck guitar pick from wes and Payton left with a necklace from keaton. The two find their driver and went to the recording studio. "Thank again danny, I had fun today." Payton looks at Daniel. "Me too Twizzler! Anything for you!" Daniel kisses Payton. "So are you excited for your recording?" Daniel asks. "I am!" Payton smiles. "Please tell me what sing you're gonna sing!" Daniel whines. "No Danny! you have to wait! And you can't even look at the songs when they are up!" Payton looks at Daniel. "What's gonna stop me?" Daniel smirks. "I'm gonna take your phone for the day!" Payton says. "Oh no you're not!" Daniel laughs. "Too bad! You're gonna have to wait until after I perform!" Payton says. "Ugh...fine!" Daniel whines. "And don't even think about asking anyone else." Payton laughs. Daniel rolls his eyes and laugh. They arrive at the recording studio and went into separate booths.

They recorded their songs for about 2 hours and everyone went to dinner and spent some time together at the beach just before sunset. Jax and Payton were in their rooms getting ready. "Jax?" "Payton turns over to Jax and Jax looks at her. "Hat? Or no hat?" Payton says deciding to wear her hat or not. "Mmmm no hat." Jax says. "Cool. Thanks!" Payton takes the hat off. "Ready to head down?" Payton asks. "Let's do this!" Jax laughs. Payton and Jax walk downstairs to the lobby and meets up with everyone. "Hey yall! Ready to go?" Maddie asks. "Let's go!" Qaasim runs out to the car. Payton laughed and took Daniels hand and they walked out. Clark was behind them and he snapped a pic and posted it. "Really Clark?!?!" Payton laughs looking back at Clark and he laughs.
After a 10 minute drive down to the beach, Qaasim and Joey run out of the car and run toward the beach like children. "Are we the only mature ones here?" Adanna asks. "Just don't ask." Nick laughs. Everyone heads down to the sand and go in different directions. Daniel and Payton walk down to a blank canvas of sand and lay out some towels. "Look danny, it's that Jessica girl from earlier." Payton shows Daniel the picture of Jessica, her and Daniel on Jessica's Twitter account. "Met Dayton today! Followed by the strombros. Best day ever!" Jessica captioned the picture. "Dude, that was so much fun. I never expected getting noticed a lot there." Daniel laughs. "I know it's crazy." Payton smiles. Payton looks through more of her mentions and found another picture from Jessica. "@VaughnsPayton is the most thoughtful human being on this planet. She gave me her lucky ring and I will treasure it. 💕" Jessica captioned the picture of the ring Payton gave her. Payton smiled knowing that she changed a persons life.

The girls were on the beach playing volleyball while the guys were on the other side playing football. In the middle of volleyball game, there was another group of guys playing football on the other side but they weren't any of the American idol contestants. The girls ignore them but the volleyball went way over the net and went to the side of the beach where the unknown guys were. "Oh gosh I'll get it. Jax come with me?" Payton asks. "Yea sure. We'll be back." Jax tells the girls and her and Payton went over to the unknown guys side to retrieve their volleyball. "Hey, this yours?" One of the guys asked. "Yea that's ours." Jax smiles and the guy hands them the ball. "Aren't you two in American Idol?" One of the other guys asked. "Yea that's us." Payton answers. "Sweet. You guys are hot singers!" The guy said. "Haha um thanks?" Payton laughs uncomfortably "Well I'm David, and this is Cole Will and Gabe." David introduces. "Well hi!" Jax smiles. "You wanna play with us?" The David asked. "No thanks we are actually over there with some other people." Jax points to the girls waiting by the net. "Ah come on!" The guys said. "Thanks but no thanks." Payton says and her and Jax walk away. "What you chicks scared?" David laughs and Jax and Payton stop and look at each other. "Excuse me?" Payton turns around. "I said...are you chicks scared?" David repeats. "I have happen to play football so you are talking to the wrong chick." Payton tells David. "Prove it!" Gabe says with a smirk. "Jax?" Payton says still looking at the guys. "Get the girls, it's on." Payton says. Jax laughs and runs over to the girls.
"Guys! Payton and I met some jerks on the other side and so now she's gonna battle them in a game of football." Jax explains. "No way!" Adanna says. "And she's gonna need some backup from those guys as well!" Jax points to the American idol guys. The girls walk over to the guys and stop them from their game. "Guys! Payton needs help!" Maddie tells the guys. "Woah is she ok?" Daniel asks worried. "She's fine Daniel. She met some guys on the other side and she challenged her to a game of football and so she needs a team." Jax explains. "Well I wanna see some guys get beat by a girl!" Qaasim yells. "There 4 of them and only one of her." Jax says. "Well I would love to play but I suck." Daniel says. "I'll be on her team!" Nick raises his hand. "Great! We need two more!" Jax says. "I volunteer as tribute!" Clark raises his hand and everyone laughs. "Anyone else?" Adanna asks. "I'm in!" Rayvon steps up. "Cool! Now we need to go!" Joey says and they all walk to the other side.
