Arrival

Back at home in Washington....

Daniel heard his phone ringing so he ran to his bedside table and saw it was Jax. "Hey Jax! What's up?" Daniel answers. "Hey Danny! How you doing?" Jax says into the phone. "Well I'm actually working on a studio and setting up a YouTube." Daniel answers. "Cool! Listen up ok?" Jax says. "Sure! What's up?" Daniel lays down on his bed. "I'm flying you down here! I want you to surprise Payton this week." Jax says. "Are you serious?" Daniel sits up. "Yes! I emailed you the boarding passes and everything." Jax says."Look, Jax I would love to go down and surprise her, but I have school and I'm pretty sure my parents won't let me." Daniel laughs. "Relax, I talked to your parents earlier and they said it's completley fine. All they need to do is print out the boarding passes." Jax laughs. "Really? Thats awesome! Yea, I'll come down there." Daniel smiles. "Yayy! She's gonna be so happy." Jax smiles. "I'm glad. When do I leave?" Daniel asks. "Tuesday, just try to hide from her and I dont be suspicous." Jax says. "Awesome! Hey, thanks so much Jax." Daniel smiles. "No problem! She really misses you and I have to make it up to her since you guys brought Riley down." Jax says. "Thats great. This is amazing. Thanks again, really." Daniel smiles. "Don't mention it. I'll see you down here." Jax says and hangs up. Daniel smiles and hangs up. She smiles and lays down. He plays with the bracelet Payton gave him and looks to his side and sees a picture of him and her on his bullentin board. All he did was smile. "Was that Jax on the phone?" Daniel's mom opens his door. "Why didn't you guys tell me??" Daniel laughs sitting up. "Well we wanted it to be a surprise silly." Daniel's mom laughs. "Thanks mom>" Daniel smiles. "You're welcome honey. I'm gonna print the passes now." Daniel's mom says and leaves. Daniel gets up and sets his camera for his first YouTube.

"Hello!!" Daniel waves into the camera trying to be cute. "Ok. Ok. It's on." Daniel walks over to his mic and grabs his guitar. "Ok...Ok" Daniel smiles. "Testing......" Daniel says testing out the mic. "Test...oh ok. ok." Daniel smiles. "Hey guys!" Daniel smiles. "No, that was horrible." Daniel says with a look on his face. "Oh my gosh, I don't know what I'm doing!" Daniel hides his face. "Hey guys it's Daniel! I finally have a YouTube and um.. yea so ill be.." Daniel smiles and hits his gutiar. "Shut up." Daniel looks down. "So I'll be doing covers for you now and you know some Q&A's or whatever you do on Youtube i dont know." Daniel explains. "Yea, I'm just happy to be back." Daniel laughs. "Today, I'l be doing How Sweet It Is.." Daniel starts to say. "I dont know who is originally by..I forgot." Daniel looks away. "But I do the version by Jimmy Nedum." Daniel smiles. "So I hope you like it." Daniel smiles and tries to get in position. He then starts strumming his guitar and starts singing. He finishes the video and turned off his camera. "Hey Danny, mom wanted me to get your suitcase." Daniel's sister's, Anna, walks in with a suitcase. "Thank sis. Are you guys coming?" Daniel asks. "Well we only one left, so they said you can bring anyone you want. It doesn't even have to be us." Anna smiles and leaves. Daniel smiles and takes his suitcase. It's Sunday so he decided to do a little packing.

The next day, Daniel went to school...last day for the week. "Hey Mr. H" Daniel walks over to his science teacher. "Hello Daniel! How can I help you?" Mr. H smiles. "Well I'm only gonna be here today so I was wondering if I can get this weeks assignments." Daniel tells Mr. H
"Yes that's perfectly fine!" Mr. H smiles. "Just let me get them out and you can come by lunch or after school or whenever to pick them up." Mr. H turns over to his computer. "Thanks Mr. H!" Daniel smiles. "No problem Daniel. May I ask, where will you be this week?" Mr H turns to Daniel. "Oh I'm gonna go back down to California to surprise...uhh Payton." Daniel says in embarrassment. "Well I'm sure she will be happy! Have fun. I'll make sure to watch." Mr. H smiles. "Thanks so much!" Daniel smiles and takes his seat.

"Hey Christian! Wait up!" Daniel catches up with Christian and walk to lunch. "Hey Danny boy!" Christian looks at Daniel. "hey can you walk with me to Mr. H's class after school?" Daniel asks. "Sure! What for?" Christian asks. "Well I'm not gonna be here for the rest of the week so I asked for this weeks assignments." Daniel says as they make their way to the lunch table. "Where you gonna be?" Christian asks sitting down. "Well Jax called saying that she got me a ticket to fly down there to surprise Payton." Daniel smiles. "That's so cool! Dang, I wish I could go." Christian laughs. "Well...I was gonna ask if you wanted to come. I have one left and my parents I can bring whoever I want." Daniel looks at Christian. "Yea dude! I've always wanted to go to California. I'll call my mom." Christian says pulling out his phone. Daniel gets up to get lunch and Jess walks up to him. "Hey Danny." Jess smiles. "Hey..." Daniel slightly smiles. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies Friday." Jess puts her hand on Daniels shoulder. "I can't. I'm going back to California." Daniel says taking her hand off. "What for?" Jess asks with a disgusted look. "I'm gonna visit Payton." Daniel says. "Ugh. Why? You can do way better." Jess says. "What do you mean?" Daniel asks. "I mean, that she won't even have time for you. She has thousands of fans chanting her name. Same with you." Jess explains. "So?" Daniel laughs. "She's too busy. One day she's gonna disappear." Jess says. "That's not true. We talk everyday." Daniel looks at Jess. "Not for long." Jess sing songs and turns away. "You know what, just stay out of it alright." Daniel looks at Jess. He scoffs and walks away leaving Jess alone with people staring at her. Daniel walks over back to Christian and sits down. "Yea ok. Thanks." Christian says into his phone and hangs up. "What she say?" Daniel asks. "She's coming over tonight to talk to your parents." Christian says. "Alright cool." Daniel smiles.

"Christian and his mom are here." Anna walks in Daniels room. "Awesome cool." Daniel gets off his bed and heads downstairs. "Hey what's up." Daniel walks over to Christian. "She's talking to your parent right now." Christian says. "Cool." Daniel says and their parents walk in. "Well?" Christian looks at his mom. "I am allowing you to go. Be careful and call me or text me everyday." Christian mom says. "Really? Yay!" Christian smiles. "Let's go home, get packed up and you'll spend the night here." Christian's mom walks over to Christian. "Awesome! I'll see you later Daniel." Christian looks at Daniel. "Later." Daniel smiles and Christian and his mom leaves.

"Christian wake up!" Daniel shakes him to wake up. Christian groans and rubs his eyes. "What time is it?" Christian asks. "9 am. Our flight leaves at 12." Daniel walks over to his bed. "Alright, give me a minute." Christian stands up and heads to the bathroom.
They all head to the airport and Daniel's dad leads them to get their bags checked out. "Alright guys, do you think you can take it from here?" Daniel's dad ask as they walk to security. "Yea we're good." Daniel smiles. "Alright. Call me when you land. You guys behave." Daniel's dad hugs Daniel. "Bye Jeff." Christian shakes Daniel's dad's hand. "Alright, you boys have fun." Daniel dad smiles. Daniel and Christian walk through security and headed to get something eat.
Daniel and Christian had 15 minutes left until they board so Daniel thought it would be a good idea to call Jax.
"Hey Danny!" Jax answers the phone. "Hey!!! I'm actually about to board in like 10 minutes." Daniel says into the phone. "Alright cool! So the plan is, you'll be hiding in Rayvon's room till tomorrow." Jax says. "All right. Sound good!" Daniel smiles. "Have you talked to Payton today?" Jax asks. "Yea, i talked to her on my way here. I told her I wouldn't be able to talk today because of school and homework." Daniel says. "Perfect!" Jax laughs. "Alright, I'll see you later!" Daniel says. "Ok. Bye!" Jax says and hangs up. Christian and Daniel board the plane and took their two hour flight to California.

"Hey Payton?" Jax walks into the room. "Hey what's up?" Payton looks up from her phone. "Me and Rayvon have to drop off my parents at the airport. So tell everyone we are gonna be late for rehearsals." Jax explains. "Oh. Alright! I'll let them know." Payton smiles. "Awesome thanks! I'll be back." Jax grabs her purse and room key and heads out the door. Payton gets up and puts on Daniel's hoodie and his dog tag Carrie Underwood have him. She grabs her phone and bag for rehearsals and walks to Tyanna's room and knocks. "Hey Payton!" Tyanna answers. "Hey! Lonely?" Payton walks in. "Haha yea a little." Tyanna laughs. "Ready for rehearsals?" Payton asks. "Yea I was just about to leave." Tyanna says. "Alright, well Jax and Rayvon are gonna be late because they are dropping off Jax's parents at the airport." Payton tells Tyanna. "Alright cool. Well, let's get going." Tyanna smiles and grabs her things. They walk down to the American idol car and meet everyone there.

"Do you think Daniel will last a day here and not see Payton?" Rayvon asks Jax. "I'm not sure. He can be pretty impatient sometimes." Jax laughs as they pull into the parking lot at the airport. "Alright, let's get the boy." Jax parks and her and Rayvon get out of the car. They walk into the airport and wait for Daniel to walk out. "What time does the plane land?" Rayvon asks. "It's suppose to land in like a couple minutes. He will text when he lands." Jax looks at her phone. Jax and Rayvon wait 5 minutes, then Daniel texted Jax saying that he is walking towards the luggage claim where they are at. "He's on his way." Jax smiles. After 2 minutes, they spot Daniel and Christian walking towards them. "Danny!!!" Jax smiles and opens her arms up. "Hey!" Daniel walks over to Jax and hugs her. "Hey Ray!" Daniel walks over to Rayvon and hugs him. "This my friend Christian." Daniel introduces Christian to them. "Hi! I'm big fan of you guys." Christian smiles and shake their hands. "Well we should get to the hotel and we gotta head to rehearsals." Jax says and they got their bags and drove to the hotel.

"Alright, you guys hide in here till tomorrow and don't leave!" Jax tells Christian and Daniel. "Got it!" Daniel smiles. Jax and Rayvon left and went to rehearsals.

Rehearsals were over and everyone went back to the hotel. "Rayvon left his jacket in my bag, I'm gonna go give it to him." Payton tells Jax grabbing Rayvon's jacket out. "No! I'll give it to him." Jax jumps off her bed and run to Payton. "Chill dude, I got it." Payton laughs and walks to the door and leaves. "Oh no." Jax hits her forehead. She pulls out her and texts Rayvon saying how Payton is on her way. "Abort mission! Payton is on her way to your room!" Jax sent to Rayvon.
"How long are you guys here for?" Rayvon asks Daniel. "Just till Friday." Daniel answers eating a Twizzler. Then, there was knock on the door. Rayvon walks over to the door and looks out the peep hole and sees Payton. "Oh no." Rayvon says then his phone vibrates. He looks at it and sees the text from Jax. "Guys, Payton is out there." Rayvon walks over to the boys. "Hide!" Rayvon says and Christian and Daniel hide in the bathroom. "Rayvon you there?" Payton says out from the door. Rayvon closes the bathroom door and walks to the front door and opens it. "Hey Payton! Sorry it took a while." Rayvon smiles. "It's cool. You left your jacket in my bag so I just wanted to return it." Payton gives Rayvon his jacket. "Oh thanks! I was looking for it." Rayvon smiles taking his jacket. "Alright well I'm gonna get going now. See Ya tomorrow." Payton smiles and leaves. "Alright she's gone." Rayvon says closing the door behind him and the boys come out. "Did she suspect anything?" Christian asks. "No not at all." Rayvon smiles. The rest of the night, Daniel hid in Rayvon's room and texted Payton all night and preparing for the big surprise.
