Begin Again

"JAAAAXXXXXX!!!!" Payton jumps on Jax's bed to wake her up. "WAKE UP ITS CHRISTMAS!!!!!" Payton keeps jumping and laughing. "What did Santa leave me?" Jax says sarcastically hiding her head in the pillow. "He left you a note saying to get your butt out of bed!!! Because we have a meeting!!" Payton stops jumping. "What time is it...." Jax moans in her pillow. "9 in the morning!!!!!" Payton shakes JAX. "We have an hour!!!" Jax stands up with her bed head. "Yea but maddy and Quentin invited us to go get breakfast...now come on!" Payton gets off the bed and pulls Jax out of bed. "Why don't you go with daniel..." Jax says laying on the floor. "He's with Qaasim and Rayvon so he won't be with us. Come on get up!!!" Payton says taking a pillow and throws it at Jax. "Hey!" Jax whines. "Come on!!! We are suppose to meet them downstairs in 10 minutes!" Payton pulls Jax up. "Fine...." Jax whines and goes to the bathroom to get ready.
Jax finally got ready and her and Payton went downstairs and met with Maddie and Quentin. "Hey Mads! Hi Quentin!" Payton smilies hugging them. "Hey guys!" Quentin smiles hugging Jax and Payton. "So, where we going?" Jax asks. "Well there's this breakfast cafe just down the street...we can walk down there." Maddy explains. "Sure lets go!!!" Payton smiles. The 4 walk down to the cafe and eat breakfast. "So, what do you think the meeting will be about?" Maddie asks. "I'm not sure, no one knows." Quentin answers. "Well only, 15 minutes until we find out." Payton says looking at her watch. They took a second to realize that the place they would be meeting is 30 minutes away. "Oh shoot!" Jax stands up. They all panic and got up from their table. They quickly paid and ran out the door. "What time is it?!" Maddie asks. "9:40!" Payton says. "We need to get their fast." Quentin says. It took them 5 minutes to wait for a car. They finally got to the place and they were 15 minutes late.

Daniel, Qaasim and Rayvon arrived at the meeting. They see everyone except Payton, Quentin, Maddie and Jax. "Hey, where's Payton?" Daniel asks Joey sitting down. "I'm not sure. Last time I checked Maddie texted me saying they were going to breakfast." Joey explains. Ryan and the judges walked in and say down. "Good morning everyone!" Harry says sitting down. "We are missing 4 people." Keith says. "Yea. Quentin, Maddie, Jax and Payton." Qaasim says. "Alright we'll just start without them." Harry says. "WAIT! WE'RE HERE!" Maddie says running in followed by the rest. "Ah! Just in time!" JLo smiles. "We got stuck in traffic." Quentin says. "It's alright. We were just starting." Ryan smiles. The 4 sit down and the meeting continues. 30 minutes went in to the meeting and they were just talking meeting the next week and stuff. "Now the last thing, we have a surprise." Ryan starts to say. "The top 10, will record their own singles." Keith says smiling. The contestants all murmur in excited. "Now in two weeks, we are gonna have 80's week." Harry starts to say. "So what you guys are gonna do...is pick a song from the 80's and record it next week after Movie week." Harry explains. "That's awesome!" Qaasim says. "So you guys choose a song and we'll start recording next week!" Ryan finishes the meeting. The meeting ends and everyone meets up in the car. "What song are you doing?" Payton asks taking Daniels hand. "I'm not sure. I'm definitely gonna sing about youuuuu!!!" Daniel pokes Payton. "Aww you don't have to." Payton blushes. "But I want to!!" Daniel whines. "Alright fine." Payton kisses Daniel. "Well then I'm not telling you what I'm doing." Payton smiles. "That's not fair!" Daniel laughs. "You won't tell me, so I won't tell you." Payton laughs. "Well will it be about me??" Daniele flutters his eyes. "I don't knowww." Payton turns away. "Come one!" Daniel whines. "I'm not telling." Payton tells Daniel. "Fine!" Daniel laughs. Payton laughs and kisses Daniel. "Hey guess what." Daniel smiles. "What." Payton smiles back. "Tomorrow....will be the best day ever!" Daniel takes Payton's hand. "I can't believe you did this for me." Payton smiles. "Anything for you!" Daniel kisses Payton on the cheek. The contestants headed back to the hotel to pack their stuff for the show tonight and went to the stage.

15 minutes till the show and Payton and Jax were backstage getting ready and there was a knock on their door. Payton stands up and walks towards the door and opens it. She sees Daniel standing there with a bouquet of flowers. "Aww danny!" Payton smiles and takes the flowers. "What am I gonna do with all these once I get home?" Payton laughs. "Well let's just hope they die before you leave." Daniel laughs. "Thanks Danny." Payton smiles and hugs Daniel. "Well guys, I'm gonna go ahead and get to my seat." Jax says and leaves. "Shall we?" Daniel asks sticking out his hand. Payton smiles and puts down the flowers and grabs her phone. She takes Daniel's hand and they walk to the stage. The show started and Ryan introduced the judges and everything blah blah blah.
He then started calling the contestants who made it through. "Moving on to our next contestant...." Ryan starts to say and opens the envelope. The camera pointed to Daniel and his chair turned green. "Daniel Seavey." Ryan says and everyone cheers. Daniel hugs everyone and walks to the stage. Daniel sits down with his guitar and the music starts. He starts to sing Lost Stars from Begin Again by Adam Levine. He finishes and everyone cheers and claps. Daniel smiles and walks over in front of the judges. "Daniel Seavey!" JLo starts to say. "You're such a cutie, it's so hard with you." JLo says and Daniel blushes. "Um..I think you did an ok job. It wasn't your best one. I was worried about the emotion, I actually felt a lot of emotion coming from you, but I don't know that it was your best performance." JLo explains. "Yea, to me Daniel, it sounded like, like even from the very first opening notes, the first settle notes that Adam Levine does, and you did that." Harry starts to say. "I just sounds like you were in a practice room, it wasn't strong tonight man." Harry finishes. "First of all I love that song and I think that really suited you." Keith starts to say. "What I wanna asks is that the...." Keith says. "I thought I heard you out there" Keith sings. "Did you come up with that melody for that?" Keith asks. "Yea." Daniel answers smiling. "It's really clever." Keith says. "Thank you!" Daniel smiles and everyone cheers. "That's a very good thing to do!" Keith smiles. "Because that was a really good melody so I give you a 10 out of 10." Keith finishes. "Thank you!" Daniel smiles. And everyone cheers. Ryan comes out on stage. "Why did you pick that specifically?" Ryan asks. "WE LOVE YOU DANIEL!!!!" Girls screamed all at once from the audience. Ryan turns to the girls and turns back to Daniel and pushes him towards the crowd. Daniel laughs and touches the fans hands and everyone cheers. Ryan pushes Daniel back to the center of the stage. "Don't be shy about that." Ryan tells Daniel and Daniel laughs. "So why'd you pick that song?" Ryan asks again. "I chose that song because I feel like it's kinda perfect to show a slow version of mine." Daniel explains. He finishes and everyone cheers. Daniel go back to his green seat and hugs Payton.
"Next contestant making it through to the top 11 is...." Ryan says opening to envelope. Payton chairs turns green and everyone cheers. She looks up and smiles. She stands up and hugs Daniel makes her way to the stage. Music starts and she starts singing Kiss From A Rose from the movie Batman Forever. She finishes and everyone cheers. "Hi baby!" JLo smiles. "Hi." Payton smiles. "I just want to say that you are very talented and very gifted to have this kind of talent.." JLo starts to say. "And for a 15 year old you have a very powerful voice and that's what I love about you." JLo smiles. "You did very good and I liked that performance." JLo finshes. "Thank you!" Payton smiles. "Payton!!" Harry smiles. "You're voice is so powerful for you age." Harry starts to say. "Every performance I see from you, you get more and more confident and more powerful. It amazing how fast your voice grows and i like that about you." Harry finishes. "Thank you so much!" Payton smiles. "That was one of my songs back then and I loved your version!" Keith says and Payton smiles. "I like how you can take a song, and make it yours. You are capable enough to do a song like that and personalize that and I think you deserve to be apart of the top 11!" Keith smiles. "Thank you so much!" Payton smiles and everyone cheers and Ryan walks out. "Payton Vaughns everyone!" Ryan walks over to Payton. "DAYTON!!!!!" The same girls in the crowd cheer. "Hold on.." Ryan looks at Payton and she's standing there laughing. Ryan looks back at Daniel who's laughing and looks back at Payton. "Wait..is Dayton you and Daniel ship name?" Ryan asks Payton. "I guess it is now." Payton answers. "Ah it's serious then." Ryan teases and Payton blushes. Everyone cheers and Payton walks back to her green chair. The show ended and everyone hanged out at the after party doing interviews. Daniel and Payton spotted Chris again from the week before and went up to say hi. "Hey!!!" Chris spots the two. "Hello!" Daniel smiles. "How are you guys?" Chris asks. "We're good! And you?" Payton asks. "Great! So I have some questions to ask for the interview, is that ok?" Chris asks. "Of course!" Payton smiles. The cameras start rolling and Chris introduces Payton and Daniel. "Hey guys what's up its Chris and I'm here with Dayton!" Chris laughs and the two laugh. "You guys did great tonight and I also want to mention that you guys did amazing together last week." Chris says. "Thank you!" Daniel smiles. "What was it like performing together for the first time in front of people?" Chris asks. "Oh my gosh it's was actually so much fun!" Payton answers. "Yea we were nervous at first because you know our first time performing together but we got through out nerves together and we just did it!" Daniel adds in. "That's great and I hear tomorrow you guys are gonna go see the emblem3 boys tomorrow." Chris looks at Payton. "Yesss! I'm super excited!" Payton looks at Daniel and smiles. "Well last week I happened to interview them and I told them about you and everything and they said that they watch you guys and that they can't wait to meet you." Chris tells Payton. "Oh my gosh no way!" Payton says in shock. "Way." Chris smiles. Payton squeals and hugs Daniel. "Ok now one more thing before we go," Chris starts to say. "Everyone is asking how did you guys meet. I mean of course on this show and we saw footage of you guys when you first met. But what's the full story?" Chris asks. "Well it was, I think it was Hollywood week and we were doing solo rounds and we ran into each other...literally." Daniel laughs. "Wait what do you mean literally?" Chris laughs. "Well this one was on her phone." Daniel points to Payton. "You were too!" Payton hits Daniel and laughs. "But yea we just bumped into each other and I asked her out after the showcase I think." Daniel explains. "Yea it was after that." Payton confirms. "That's cool! And look at you guys! You're stronger than ever and you grow closer." Chris points out. "Yea right..we don't even know each other's birthdays." Payton laughs and Daniel laughs. "Well when are your birthdays?" Chris asks. "Mine is April 2." Daniel says. "Wait...it is?" Payton looks at Daniel. "Yea!" Daniel says. "Well chris, mine also happens to be April 2!" Payton says and Daniel laughs. "That's crazy." Chris laughs. "Well you guys learned something new about each other." Chris says. "Well thank you guys and congrats on tonight." Chris finishes. "Thank you!" Payton smiles and the cameras cut off. Daniel and Payton leave and did more interviews and just hung out with the rest of the contestants.
