"Hey Payton...have you seen Riley?" Jax asks. "Yea he's with Clark and Rayvon in their dressing room." Payton says. "Awesome thanks! Good luck." Jax smiles and leaves. "Knock knock." Daniel says walking in. "Hey Danny!" Payton turns around and sees Daniel with some flowers. "An early birthday present for youuu!" Daniel hands Payton the flowers. "Aww thank you!" Payton smiles and kisses Daniel on the cheek. "Just remember...that's not you're only present." Daniel winks and Payton smiles. "Well, tomorrow you're gonna love yours hopefully." Payton looks at Daniel. "I'm sure I will!" Daniel walks over to Payton and hugs her. "You ready to go?" Daniel asks. "I'll meet you there. I told Trevor I'd call him before the show." Payton says. "Alright. Good luck." Daniel smiles and leaves. Payton smiles and grabs her phone and dials Trevor's number. "Hey Payton!" Trevor answers. "Hey Trev! I told you I would call you before the show." Payton says. "Oh right! Thanks I just turned the TV on." Trevor says. "And happy early birthday to you and and Daniel." Trevor adds. "Thanks Trevor." Payton smiles. "What are you guys gonna do?" Trevor asks. "Probably go out to dinner with my friends and his parents." Payton answers. "Cool! Hey I need some advice." Trevor tells Payton. "What's up?" Payton sits down still on the phone. "Ok so I met this girl about a month ago and I've been hanging out with her and I think I love her..how do I tell her?" Trevor asks. "Trevor just say it. If you love her that much then tell her." Payton answers. "Well who said I love you first? You or Daniel?" Trevor asks. Payton froze there looking at herself in the mirror. "Um Trevor?" Payton says. "Yea?" Trevor says confused. "Neither me or Daniel said I love you to each other." Payton says. "Really? You guys been together for almost 2 months..." Trevor points. "I know...I guess we've never had the guts to say it to each other's faces. We kissed and stuff but never said it." Payton explains. "Well you really love him right?" Trevor asks. "Yea I do...it's just I can't ever tell him." Payton says. "Payton just say it. You can do it." Trevor says. "And tomorrow would be the perfect time with it being his birthday." Trevor adds. "I'll do it if you do it to that girl." Payton laughs. "We both gave each other advice." Trevor laughs. "It was all you trevie." Payton smiles. "Hey I got to go. Good luck with her." Payton says. "Good luck with tonight and Daniel. Later!" Trevor hangs up. Payton smiles and walks to the stage and meets with Daniel and sits down. The show starts and Ryan starts introducing the contestants that make it and they perform.

"The next contestant that will be performing for your votes tonight is......" Ryan starts to say opening the envelope. Payton's chair turns green and she smiles standing up hugging Daniel. Everyone cheers and she walks up to the stage. After her intro, the music starts and she starts singing her song. She finishes and and everyone claps and cheers. "Payton Vaughns!!" Keith says. "Hi!" Payton smiles. "That was a perfect song for you!" Keith says. "Thank you!" Payton smiles. "The thing is that Kelly's song are difficult to do but I think you made it your own and that's good." Keith smiles. "Yea, I like how you make any song and you kind of personalize it and make it your own." Harry starts to say. "Thank you!" Payton smiles. "Your emotion really showed and I liked that." Harry finishes. "I think your voice has a unique tone to it. In a good way of course and that's what makes you..you." JLo says. "I liked your performance a lot you did a very good job." JLo smiles. "Thank you." Payton smiles and the crowd cheers. Payton heads back to her seat and hugs everyone.
Towards the end of the performance, there were three contestants left and there would be the bottom two. Clark, Rayvon....and Daniel. Payton was holding to Daniel's hand tightly looking down. Clark was called meaning Daniel and Rayvon were in the bottom two. Payton looks up and Daniel and he just nods. They watch Clark perform and everyone claps.
"Now we are left with our bottom two...Rayvon and Daniel. The cameras point to Rayvon and Daniel who is hugging Payton tightly. "Boys come up here." Ryan says. Payton let's go of Daniel and kisses him on the cheek. Daniel and Rayvon walk up on stage. "Alright boys after the break, you both will be performing and then after, we will let the viewers decide who will make it through and who will go home." Ryan says. The crowd cheers and claps and the cameras cut off Rayvon and Daniel head backstage. Payton starts tearing up a little and Jax comforts her. "I don't want either of them to go home though." Payton says. "It'll be alright. Ok?" Jax says. Payton hugs Jax and wait for the guys to perform.
The show continues and Daniel is the first to sing. Rayvon heads back to the lounge and hugs everyone. Payton looks up on stage looking at Daniel with tears in her eyes smiling. Daniel looks back at Payton and smiles and nods. The music starts and he starts singing as good as he can with his throat problem. He finishes his performance and everyone cheers. He heads back to the lounge and runs over to Payton and hugs her tightly. Rayvon went up and performed his song. "I don't want you leave." Payton whispers to Daniel. "Payton even if I do go, just remember, that no matter what, you'll always be with me." Daniel looks into Payton's brown eyes. Payton tears up and hugs Daniel again and Rayvon finished his performance. Payton lets go of Daniel and claps. "Alright, Daniel, come up here please." Ryan says. Daniel walks up to stage and hugs Rayvon. "For our first ever fan save, the viewers at home will either tweet #SaveRayvon or #SaveDaniel." Ryan explains. "Everyone has 5 minutes to tweet who you wanna save." Ryan says the cameras cut off. Payton pulls out her phone and opens Twitter. "#SaveDaniel #SaveRayvon they both deserve to be on the show 💕" Payton tweets and puts her phone away. She gets up and walks to the bathroom. Daniel sees her getting up with tears in her eyes and he feels heartbroken to see her upset. He sighs and walks towards the end of the stage. Tyanna gets up before Daniel can walk off. "I got this." Tyanna mouths to Daniel. Daniel smiles and walks back to Rayvon and Ryan. Payton is in the bathroom washing up her face a little. "Hey Pay." Tyanna knocks. "Hey." Payton says with a slight smile. "I know what's going through your head and it's ok." Tyanna walks over to Payton. "I know Tyanna but it's just Daniel and I share something special. And if he's gone I'll have no one to share them with." Payton tears. "Think about Jax and Riley. They were both heartbroken but they were still strong. You and Daniel could do the same thing. You guys are inseparable." Tyanna smiles. "It will just be hard." Payton looks down. "I know it will be but we are all here for you." Tyanna hugs Payton. "Tyanna?" Payton says into her shoulder. "Yes?" Tyanna says still hugging Payton. "Do you think it's weird that me or Danny have never said I love you?" Payton asks pulling away. "Not at all Pay. You can't rush love. You need to take some time." Tyanna smiles. "Thanks T." Payton smiles. "No problem. Now we should get going, we only have a minute left." Tyanna says and her and Payton walk back out to the lounge. Payton sits down and looks at Daniel on stage. Daniel looks back and smiles. The cameras roll up and there were 15 seconds left on the countdown. Payton sits next to Tyanna holding her hand tightly and looking down holding back tears. "And the contestant who makes it through from out first fan save is....." Ryan says cueing the dramatic music for about 500 years. So many thoughts were going in everyone's head. "Rayvon Owen." Ryan says and everyone cheers. Payton still looks down still holding onto Tyanna's hand crying now. "I'm 15 and I'm on American idol." Payton hears Daniel say and she smiles and cries at the same time. She looks up on stage seeing a very happy Daniel hugging Rayvon. She stands up and hugs Tyanna and everyone else because they know how Payton is feeling. Ryan was still talking to Rayvon and Daniel on stage and Daniel looks back at Payton and sees tears in her eyes and hugging everyone else. "How was it being on this journey?" Ryan asks Daniel. Daniel doesn't look at Ryan but looks at Payton and walks off stage. "Where is he going?" Ryan laughs and Rayvon shrugs. Daniel walks over to the lounge and Payton is still hugging on Clark. Daniel taps her shoulder and Payton turns around. "Danny...." Payton cries and hugs Daniel tightly not letting go. The crowed cheers and awes and Payton cries into Daniels shoulder. Daniel lets go and takes Payton's hand and leads her to the stage with Rayvon and Ryan. "Sorry Ryan." Daniel smiles holding Payton's hand. "Daniel aren't you a great boyfriend.." Ryan laughs. Daniel smiles and hugs Payton again. "Payton...what's going through your head right now?" Ryan asks Payton. "A lot actually." Payton laughs. "I'm very happy for Rayvon and I'm so proud at Daniel he worked so hard and being the youngest contestant he did an amazing job." Payton looks at Rayvon and Daniel. "And with me being an emotional person it's hard seeing people I love leave every week." Payton finishes. "Well I'm sorry Payton and I'm sorry Daniel." Ryan looks at the two. The show ends and everyone heads backstage to do interviews and everything.

Payton was alone and doing an interview with Chris. "Can we talk about Daniel if you don't mind." Chris asks. "No I don't mind!" Payton smiles. "Ok so you are the closest person to Daniel so what was going through your head when he was called for the bottom two?" Chris asks. "You know a lot has been going on. Like during the 5 minute countdown I went to the bathroom and you know relaxed needed to be alone and then Tyanna came in and comforted me because I was so happy and upset at the same time." Payton explains. "What was your reaction when you found out he was leaving?" Chris asks. "I'm gonna be dead honest, I was heartbroken but at the same time so happy for Daniel cause like he said tonight, he's 15 and being so young and making it to the top 9, he was still the happy kid he is and I'm so proud of him and I'm very happy for him." Payton says. "And a lot of people are asking me, are you mad at Rayvon? Are you upset with him? What's going on with you and him and Daniel?" Chris asks. "I've been getting those kinds of questions a lot. No I'm not mad at Rayvon. That's it. I'm so proud of him and he deserves to be through cause he's so talented. And in fact, both him and Daniel deserve to be through. We are all family you know. And we love each other a lot and we are so close. We are one big family." Payton says. "He actually came up to me and Daniel after the show saying how he's sorry and that he would trade places with Daniel to keep all of us happy. Rayvon is such a sweet guy and I love him." Payton finishes. "That's so nice that all of you are so happy and so proud each other." Chris smiles. "Yea we all love each other." Payton smiles. "Well thank you so much. Congrats on tonight and I hope you and Daniel would still be strong." Chris tells Payton. "Thank you!" Payton smiles and the cameras turn off.

"Has anyone seen Payton?" Daniel asks everyone. "No we thought she was with you." Jax says. "Last time you saw her?" Daniel panics. "She was with me at the lounge last time." Tyanna says. "Check our dressing room." Jax walks with Daniel to her and Payton's room. They look around and can't find her. "Jax her stuff isn't even here..she must have left." Daniel says. "Ok well we will go back to the hotel and we'll look for her." Jax says.

Everyone goes back to the hotel and Jax and Daniel head up to their hotel rooms. Jax gets out her room key and opens the door. Daniel runs in looking for Payton. "She's not in here either!" Daniel says. "Check your room." Jax says putting her stuff down. Daniel runs to his room and opens his door. All he sees is Clark and Nick. "Is Payton here?" Daniel asks. "No but we are looking for her." Nick says. "Everyone is looking everywhere in the hotel looking." Clark says. "Any luck?" Daniel asks. "Daniel?" Rayvon walks in. "Hey man what's up?" Daniel turns around. "Just wanted to say I'm sorry." Rayvon says. "For what?" Daniel laughs. "Dude, we can't find Payton anywhere and it's al because of me!" Rayvon says. "It's not your fault. It is what it is. Plus I'm so home sick and kinda do want to go home." Daniel explains. "But I don't want to leave Payton here heartbroken so that's why we need to find her." Daniel smiles. Rayvon hugs Daniel and the search continued for about an hour. No luck.
"Jax! I can't find her!!" Daniel says walking into her room. "Daniel, relax I'm sure she's fine. You need some rest." Riley stands up. "are you sure she'll be here in the morning?" Daniel asks. "Positive and when she comes back I'll tell you." Jax stands up. "Promise me you'll tell me." Daniel looks at Riley and Jax. "Promise. Get some rest, you have a big day tomorrow." Jax says. Riley and Daniel head back to Daniels room leaving Jax texting and calling Payton.
