What Happened?

It was Wednesday and Daniel wanted to throw another watch party for Payton tonight. He and Cristian invited a couple people to come.
15 minutes till show and everyone showed up. "Hey Anna, shows's about to start." Daniel walks in on Anna who's making a YouNow. "Is it time already?" Anna asks. "Yea. Everyone's here." Daniel says. "Hiiiiii!" Daniel walks over to Anna and looks at the broadcast. "Everyone...vote for Payton tonight." Daniel looks into the camera. "Daniel get out. I'll be down in a minute." Anna laughs. Anna finishes her YouNow and head downstairs with Daniel. "Hey man..uhh we got trouble." Cristian walks over to Daniel. "What's going on?" Daniel asks. "Uhh..." Cristian points over behind Daniel. Daniel looks behind him and sees Jess and some of her friends standing by the front door. "Who invited them?!" Daniel asks frustrated turning back to Cristian. "No one! They just showed up!" Cristian says. "Let's just..try to avoid them when the show is on." Daniel says grabbing his drink and walking to the living room.
The show started and everyone was silent. "She looks so pretty." Daniel whispers. Jess overheard him and just scoffed.
After Clark was called....Ryan was about to announce the next contestant to go visit their hometowns.
"The next contestant to make it through and visit their hometown is....." Ryan starts to say and the cameras point to the lounge. Payton's chair turns green and Daniel cheers and jumps up and down along with everyone. Everyone hugs Daniel and watched Payton's intro.

"Being at Big Machine Records was a dream come true. Meeting Martina was...legendary. She was so honest and so humble it was amazing to actually see her. I will be representing JLo's hometown, New York. I'm gonna be singing What Is Love from Empire by V. Bozeman. I'm dedicating this song to everyone who has supported me. They have supported me all this time on idol and they showed me love when no one else did. So this is to my VIP's cause I love them and I wouldn't be here without them."

Payton's intro finishes and her music starts. She starts singing to the song and gets emotional. She finishes her fabulous performance and everyone cheers and claps. Daniel smiles looking at her. Payton heads backstage and it went to commercial break. "She's a keeper Daniel." Daniel's dad walks up to him. "Dad!" Daniel blushes and his dad hugs him.
"You're girl is good." Jess walks up to Daniel. "Thanks..." Daniel says with a hesitant look. "You know Jess..no one invited you here." Daniel says. "So what? Who says I can't have a little fun?" Jess smirks. Daniel rolls his eyes and walks back to the living room for the show to continue. After Tyanna performed her last performance, the top 5 perform their second performance and Payton was up first.

"This next song I'm gonna sing another song from Empire. This is on of my favorites and the most meaningful to me. Nothing To Lose by Jussie Smollett. I'm dedicating this one to..everyone who has pulled me down. All the negativity that people put into my career. This song means so much to me because it talks about how much a lot of people put so much negativity in a dream saying, oh you can't do it or you're not good enough. But you have so much to prove and that I'm never gonna give up. To all my haters...look at me now! This is for you."

Payton's intro finishes and her music starts. She sings her heart out and gets very emotional. One of her best performances yet. She finishes and everyone cheers and claps. Everyone in Daniel's living room cheers and smiles. The show finishes and everyone just hangs out a little at Daniel's home.
"So Daniel...." Jess walks over to Daniel. "It seems you really like that girl." Jess gets closer. "And THAT GIRL, is the only thing I need next to my music." Daniel looks at Jess. "What's so great about her?" Jess asks with a disgusted look. Daniel gave a shocked look on his face. "You did not just ask that me that." Daniel looks at Jess. "I just wanna ask..." Jess scoots closer and Daniel tries to back away. "I'm done here." Daniel looks at Jess. Before Daniel could walk away Jess took his hand and pulled him closer....and kissed him. Daniel pulled away immediately. "What the heck?!" Daniel yells at her wiping his lips. "You know you liked it." Jess walks off to the front door followed by her friends. Daniel looks around and sees no nobody looking. Probably no one was watching. "Hey Cristian..." Daniel walks over to him. "Please get everyone out of here." Daniel says and runs upstairs.

Daniel goes back to school and he makes his way to the cafeteria for lunch to wait for Cristian. Daniel looks down at his phone and rapidly bounces his knee. "Daniel!" Cristian runs up to Daniel. "What?" Daniel doesn't look up from his phone. "Did you see what Jess posted?" Cristian looks at Daniel. "Oh no." Daniel looks up at Cristian. Cristian pulls out his phone and shows Daniel a picture of him and Jess..kissing. "Woah...woah woah woah woah." Daniel takes the phone. "How..what.. No." Daniel examines the photo. "Dude...what happened?" Cristian asks. "She kissed me!!! She kissed me!" Daniel grabs his head. "Hey Daniel!" Jess walks up. "Jess...why would you post that? In fact, how did you get a picture?!" Daniel stands up. "Well...Payton would see it, ruin your relationship, then you're all mine. Simple." Jess smiles innocently and walks away. "Ok..Payton can not see that picture!" Daniel sits down in front of Cristian then his phone rings. Daniel looks at the caller ID and sees its Payton. "Oh shoot! It's her!" Daniel panics. "Answer it." Daniel throws the phone at Cristian. "Nah man it's your girl." Cristian throws the phone back. "Please dude. What if she asks about the picture?" Daniel begs Cristian and throws the phone. Cristian quickly answers the phones "heyyyyyy!" Cristian answers. "Hey Cristian! Is Daniel there?" Payton asks. Cristian looks at Daniel. "I'm not here." Daniel mouths and runs away. Cristian gave a shock look and watched Daniel walk away. "Cristian?" Payton asks. "Oh hi! Uh, Daniel is not here right now." Cristian says. "Then why do you have his phone?" Payton laughs. "He..uhh...left it on his desk." Cristian says. "Well tell him to text me later ok?" Payton asks. "Will do! Gotta go. Bye!" Cristian hangs up. He sighs and stands up to find Daniel.

It was Friday and the idols were on their way to the airport home. "Alright guys...I'll see you Saturday!" Rayvon says. "You guys have fun!" Jax smiles. They all pull in in a group hug and go their separate ways. Payton and her friends, lulu and Levi, walk to their terminal and wait to board. "Have you heard anything from Daniel?" Lulu asks. "I called him yesterday. Cristian answered. Then Daniel texted me yesterday. I haven't heard from him today though." Payton says. "Well do you want to call him?" Levi asks. "Yea, I should do that." Payton pulls out her phone and pulls up Daniel's contact. Payton stands up and walks over to a window and calls Daniel. "Hey twizzler!" Daniel answers. "Hey Danny. Just wanted to call and say that I'm about to board." Payton smiles into the phone. "That's great! I hope you have fun." Daniel says. "I miss you." Daniel smiles. "I miss you more." Payton smiles. "I should get going now." Payton says. "Alright, I love you. I'll see you at the finale." Daniel says. "I love you too! Can't wait." Payton smiles and hangs up. She heads back to Lulu and Levi and they wait to board.
They finally board on the plane and they eventually took off to their two hour flight back to the Lone Star State of Texas.
