"Daniel" On Jax

"Danny!!!" Payton sees Daniel in the hallway. "Danny danny danny Danny danny!" Payton says fast running up to him. "What? Why are you so happy?" Daniel laughs. "Danny! Kelly Clarkson!" Payton jumps up and down. "What about her?" Daniel laughs. "She's gonna be on the show on Wednesday!!!" Payton smiles. "No she's not....." Daniel freezes. "Yes Danny! Check the American idol twitter!!!!" Payton takes out her phone. Daniel looks at the screen. Daniel gasps and smiles. "Wait....we are gonna meet her?" Daniel asks. "Yes!" Payton jumps up and down. "And we are gonna sing Kelly Clarkson songs!!" Payton tells daniel. "Oh my gosh! That's so cool!" Daniel smiles. "What song are you thinking about doing?" Daniel asks. "I really wanna do Because Of You. I love that song." Payton smiles. "Awesome! I can't wait to watch you!" Daniel smiles and he coughs. "Are you alright Danny?" Payton asks. "Yea, I've been coughing a lot lately." Daniel says. "Well do you need to go to the doctors?" Payton asks. "Yea I'm going tomorrow, wanna come with me?" Daniel smiles. "Sure! I wanna make sure you're ok." Payton smiles and hugs Daniel.
The next day on Saturday, the two went to the doctors and they found out that Daniel has Laryngitis.
"Danny, how are you gonna sing this week?" Payton asks. "Don't worry about me, I can make through it." Daniel smiles and kisses Payton on the cheek.
They leave the doctors office and headed back to the hotel.

On Monday, Payton and Jax were packing for rehearsals. "What are you and Daniel gonna do for you guys birthday?" Jax asks. "Well, we are thinking about going out to dinner with his family and my friends. And then me and him are gonna just gonna hang out together." Payton smiles. "Aww you guys are cute." Jax smiles. "You and Riley are adorable too." Payton winks. Jax was confused but shook it off and they head to rehearsals and meet Kelly.
Daniel and Payton were in the room waiting for their lessons with Kelly. "I'm really nervous about this week." Payton tells Daniel. "You'll do great! This week will be the perfect week. With Kelly and our birthdays." Daniel takes Payton's hand. "I'm not nervous about me Danny..." Payton looks at Daniel. "I'm worried about you." Payton says. "Why?" Daniel smiles. "With your Laryngitis and everything." Payton explains. "I'll be fine mom." Daniel laughs making Payton smile. It was Payton's turn for her lessons and she stands up hugging Daniel and walking into the room seeing Kelly. "Hello!" Kelly smiles and walks over to Payton. "Oh my gosh...this can't be real." Payton freaks out and hugs Kelly. "Well this is." Kelly laughs. "I hear you're from Dallas." Kelly tells Payton. "I am!" Payton smiles. Kelly high fives Payton and they start. "What song do you wanna sing?" Kelly asks. "I'm gonna sing Because Of You." Payton smiles. "One of my favorites." Kelly smiles. "Well let's see how great you are." Kelly smiles and Payton starts singing the song. "That...was amazing!" Kelly tells Payton and Payton freaks out again. "You have a powerful voice how old are you?" Kelly asks. "I'm 15 but I'm turning 16 this Thursday." Payton smiles. "Well for someone your age, your voice is fantastic." Kelly says. "Thank you so much." Payton blushes. "The only thing I want you to do is be a little more emotional." Kelly says. "You know what I mean?" Kelly looks at Payton. "Yea I understand." Payton says. "Like have you ever been mad at someone or a boyfriend or ex boyfriend..." Kelly starts to say. "Do you have a boyfriend right now or an ex?" Kelly asks. "I actually do have a boyfriend." Payton blushes. "Really?! What's his name?" Kelly leans over on the piano and Payton laughs. "Daniel..but I call him Danny." Payton answers. "Aww how cute." Kelly smiles. "Well you did a good job today and I can't wait to hear your performance." Kelly smiles. "Thank you so much." Payton smiles. Kelly hugs Payton and Payton walks out to meet with Daniel. "Soo?" Daniel smiles. "Kelly is like the nicest person ever and I'm dead inside." Payton says seriously making Daniel laughing. "By the way, you're next." Payton tells Daniel. "Already?" Daniel whines. "Producer guy told me." Payton smiles. "Good luck." Payton smiles and kisses Daniel on the cheek. Daniel walks onto the room and sees Kelly. "Hello!" Kelly walks over to Daniel and hugs him. "Hi. I'm Daniel." Daniel smiles. "Daniel?" Kelly looks at him. "Yes." Daniel says. "Do you happen to have a girlfriend?" Kelly asks. "Yes!" Daniel smiles. "Let me guess...her name is Payton." Kelly says. "How'd you know?" Daniel asks. "She was just in here." Kelly laughs. "So what are you gonna be singing?" Kelly asks. "I'm gonna sing Breakaway." Daniel answers. "Ah I like that." Kelly says. "So let's hear it." Kelly says and Daniel starts singing. "That was great! One thing, is there something going on with your voice? Like is it changing?" Kelly asks. "I actually have Laryngitis." Daniel says. "Alright, for someone who has that, you did a dang good job." Kelly laughs. "Thank you." Daniel smiles and laughs. Daniel left and met with Payton and they went to stage to rehearse.

Tuesday
"Hey Jax!" Payton runs over to Jax backstage. "Hey what's up?" Jax turns around. "Hey, Daniel went back early so I have no one to ride with so I was thinking I could ride with you and Nick since we room together." Payton says. "Yea sure! Nick's already in the car so let me just grab my stuff." Jax says getting her purse and phone. They walk to the car and meet up with Nick. "Hey Payton! Where's Daniel?" Nick asks. "Oh he went back early to rest for tomorrow and...." Payton looks back at Jax on her phone. Payton whispers into Nick's ear. "Now way!!" Nick says out loud. "Nick!!" Payton shuts him up and Nick puts his hand over his mouth. Jax looks at the two with a confused looks. "What's going on?" Jax laughs. "Nothing." Payton says. Jax shrugs it's off and looks back at her phone. "Nice going Fradiani." Payton whispers to Nick. They arrive at the hotel and they walk in. "Later Nick!" Jax says to Nick and they went in different directions. Jax and Payton get in the elevator and head up to their hotel door. "Wait Jax..." Payton stops Jax from putting the room key in. "Put this on." Payton pulls out a blindfold. "Oh god you're gonna pull a Daniel on me?" Jax laughs. "A Daniel?" Payton looks confused. "Yea we all call surprises Daniel because he always gives you surprises." Jax explains. "Fair enough." Payton says and puts the blindfold on Jax. "K stay here real quick." Payton says and opens the door. "Ok, come in." Payton walks back to Jax and takes her hand and leads her inside on a bed. "Payton what are you doing?" Jax laughs. Payton doesn't say anything. Jax sits down confused until she hears guitar playing. Jax smiles and listens to the sounds of the guitar. Then she hears a familiar voice that she recognized. She gasps and laughs. She took off her blindfold and sees Riley standing there with a guitar singing. "Oh my gosh!" Jax stands up and hugs Riley. "How'd you do this?!" Jax asks Payton. "Well I called him and told him to come down for tonight." Payton smiles. "Thank you thank you thank you!" Jax runs over to Payton and picks her up to hug her. "When did you get here?" Jax asks Riley. "Last night." Riley answers. "Oh and I have a backstage pass." Riley shows Jax. "You gave him a backstage pass?" Jax turns back to Payton. "That was Daniel's job." Payton laughs. "Aww thank you!" Jax smiles and hugs Riley. "Just couples helping couples you know." Payton laughs. "And me, you, Payton and Daniel are going out for dinner tonight." Rules tells Jax. "Well what time?" Jax asks. "7?" Riley looks at the time. Jax looks at her phone and sees its 5:30 "get out! I gotta get ready!" Jax pushes Riley out. "I gotta take a shower." Jax runs to the bathroom and Payton laughs. "Well I'm gonna stop at Danny's real quick." Payton walks over to the door. "DONT DO ANYTHING STUPID!" Jax yells from the bathroom turning on the shower water. Payton laughs and walks to Daniel's room. Payton knocks on the door and Daniel answers. "She's freaking out." Payton says and Daniel laughs. "How you feeling?" Payton asks Daniel walking in. "A little better. I'll be alright for tomorrow." Daniel walks over to Payton and hugs her. "What's Jax doing now?" Daniel asks. "Getting ready." Payton says. "What? It's only 5:45." Daniel laughs. "I know. But she has to take shower and makeup and blah blah blah. Girl things." Payton laughs. "What's this?" Payton asks looking at a wrapped a gift picking it up. "Hey! That's not yours!" Daniel laughs and takes it from her. "Then who's it's for?" Payton smirks. "My....my mom." Daniel lies. "Well I didn't know your mom was named Payton." Payton points to the tag on the gift. "Fine it's for you." Daniele laughs. "Oh what is it?!" Payton jumps up and down like a little kid. "You're birthday gift that you're not getting till Thursday." Daniel says. "Finnneeee." Payton whines.
The rest of the night, the two couples went out for dinner and had a great time...then the next night...everything was about to change.
