Quentin Takes On Harry

"Have you seen my phone? Daniel is suppose to call?" Payton walks into the dressing room. "I think you left it backstage." Jax replied. Payton sighed and rolled her eyes. "Thanks." Payton laughs and walks out backstage. She finds her phone and see that Daniel hasn't called her yet. She opens her phone and looks through her Twitter mentions. While she was looking at her phone, someone came behind her and hugged her from behind. She smiled and looked behind her and saw Michael. "You're here!" Payton smiles and hugs Michael. "Yea! I was looking for you! You excited?" Michael asks. "A little nervous but ready!" Payton smiles. "Hey can we take a picture?" Payton asks opening her camera. "Sure!" Michael smiles and walks next to Payton. She faces the camera toward them and make funny faces. "He's here!!! Spot him in the crowd tonight! ❤️ #idolpreparty" Payton tweeted tagging Michael. "Thanks Mic!" Payton puts her phone away. "No problem. Good luck tonight." Michael gives Payton one last hug. She smiles and heads back to the dressing room. Once she gets opens the door..Daniel calls. "Danny!" Payton answers. "Hey! Just wanted to give you your good luck call!" Daniel says into the phone. "Aw thanks! I know it will give me luck tonight." Payton smiles. "Are you watching tonight?" Payton asks. "Yep! Just doing homework and waiting for the show to come on." Daniel smiles. "Awesome! Thanks." Payton laughs. "No problem. I'll let you get going now." Daniel says. "Alright, thanks Danny. Love you." Payton smiles. "Love you too." Daniel says and hangs up. Payton puts her phone in her pocket and meets with Jax at the lounge. The show starts and Ryan came out and everyone started cheering. The judges walked out and look like legends...cause they are. The show started and Ryan started calling names. After Clark was called...Ryan announced Payton's name. Everyone cheered and Payton smiled and stood up from her green chair. She hugs everyone and heads on stage.

The music starts for her first performance. She starts singing Dream On by Aerosmith. She finished her song and everyone cheered. The judges gave her their comments. They said that it wasn't her best but she still did good for a song like that. Everyone cheered and clapped and Ryan came out on stage. She walks backstage to get ready for her second performance. As she was getting ready...Quentin got called leaving Joey and Rayvon. "Ok...Now that's not cool." Payton looks up at the TV. "What's up?" Nick walks next to her. "They are two of the best vocalists and one of them is going home!" Payton says. "I know how you feel. It sucks having family leave every week." Nick puts his arm around Payton. They all watch Quentin perform. At the end of his performance, everyone noticed he had a blank face. "Is he ok?" Jax asks. "I'm not sure." Clark answers. Ryan walks out and walks next to Quentin. "He's got so much staging I couldn't get out." Ryan says walking next to Quentin. "How you feeling today? You alright?" Ryan asks Quentin. "I'm good." Quentin flatly answers. "Tell me, what's on your mind?" Ryan looks at Quentin. "This sucks." Quentin points at the lounge where Joey and Rayvon are sitting. Everyone backstage watching gasped and looked at each other and back at the tv. "Ok, what sucks?" Ryan asks. "We have two of the best vocalists, my best friend is sitting over there. This whole thing is wack, but I'm gonna shut up right now." Quentin says looking mad. "Oh..my god." Payton laughs looking at the tv. Ryan laughs and everyone claps in the audience. "Guess what, let me tell you something...." Ryan starts to say. "The bottom two there, at the end, anybody can be saved by that vote. It could be your friend." Ryan says to Quentin and everyone claps. "Alright." Quentin says. Everyone cheers and claps. "I LOVE YOU BABY!" JLo says in her mic and laughs. Quentin shakes Ryan's hand and walks off stage. "Did he just...." Clark points to the tv. "He did." Nick stares. "Wait shh.." Payton says looking up at the tv. "I don't understand this at all...." Harry starts to say. "Quentin, if it's that whack, you can always go home." Harry says looking at Quentin walking away. "Because, idol is paying a lot of money to give you this experience. And to say that, to this hand that is feeding you right now, I think it's highly disrespectful." Harry finishes. "Where's Quentin?" Payton looks around. "Wait Payton!" Jax taps Payton's shoulder and points to the TV. They all watch Quentin walk on stage and the spotlight is on him. Everyone is "oo"ing in the crowd and Quentin walks over to Harry with disbelief. "Wait he's not gonna...no." Jax says thinking he's gonna punch Harry. But when Quentin didn't...everyone was relieved. "When I said that this is whack..." Quentin starts to say. "I wasn't saying THIS was whack..." Quentin uses hand motions. "Well when you said this whole thing is whack, I thought you mean...this whole thing." Harry looks at Quentin. "THAT is whack." Quentin points to the lounge where Joey and Rayvon were sitting. "What's whack? It's a competition." Harry says. "I understand that. For my personal feelings, it sucks to see two people who I've grown to love go home." Quentin explains. "That's what I mean by being whack." Quentin finishes. Everyone cheers and claps. "So I'm not disrespecting not the competition." Quentin says. "It wasn't clear that you were disrespecting the competition." Harry tells Quentin. "And I'm glad that I got to clarify for you." Quentin looks at Harry. "Ok. I appreciate it." Harry says. "And by the way, we support you and a lot of people love you." Ryan turns to Quentin. "And let's get you some votes!" Ryan finishes and everyone cheers and claps. Quentin shakes Ryan's hand and turns to Harry and shakes his hand and walks off stage. Everyone backstage stood there in shock staring at the TV and then Quentin walks in. All heads turn to Quentin and all eyes were on him. Quentin just stands there looking at everyone looking at him. "What?" Quentin shrugs. Nobody said anything but they all smiled and clapped and Quentin smiles. "Quentin! You just stood up to THE Harry Conick JR!" Jax laughs. "It's no big deal." Quentin walks to the stylist. "Are you kidding me? That was amazing!" Payton walks over to Quentin. "You really think so?" Quentin looks at Payton. "Dude, none of us would have the guts to do that." Payton smiles. "Thanks guys." Quentin smiles. "I love you guys." Quentin hugs everyone. Everyone continues to get ready for their next performance and they head back to lounge during commercial break.

After the break, everyone went back to lounge and waited for their second performance. After Clark performed...Payton was up. She went up on stage and waited for her music to start. Wheel In The Sky by Journey started playing and she did her best. She finished and everyone cheered and clapped and she stood there smiling. The judges gave her comments and they said that she did better on her second performance than her first.

After everyone finishes their performances, Rayvon and Joey were up for the idol fan save. Payton looked at Quentin and he was looking down. Payton put her hand on his knee and Quentin looked up. "You alright?" Payton asks. "Yea I'm fine. Just nervous I guess." Quentin slightly laughs. "You'll be fine. Joey will still be able to make music. Remember she wanted to recorded that album? She will do that." Payton smiles. "And you have supported her all this time. Look at her..." Payton points on stage to a happy smiling Joey hugging Rayvon. "She could have never been happier. She's glad she's been on this journey with all of us. Now she's free for doing whatever she wants." Payton tells Quentin. "Thanks Payton." Quentin smiles. "No problem. I'm here anytime." Payton pats Quentin's back. Quentin and Payton had a strong bond as well. Quentin was like Payton's older brother. During the 5 minutes break for the idol save...Rayvon and Joey were standing up there smiling and everyone tweeted in. The minutes were over and it was one for the results. Ryan opened the enveloped and the lights turned red. After waiting for 100 years, he announced. "Rayvon Owen." Ryan says and everyone claps and cheers. Joey looks up and Rayvon and she has a big smile on her face. Payton looks over at Quentin and he's smiling and clapping. Payton smiles and looks back at the stage. She smiles at the fact that Joey is happy. She realized she was feeling the same way Quentin did when Daniel was in the bottom. She can't help but bring tears of joy on her face. She stands up and hugs Quentin. Joey walks off stage and heads backstage for interviews. Everyone ran up stage to hug Rayvon and fooled around on stage. The show ended and everyone headed backstage for interveiws
