Oscars pov"And so she then gave me a detention and-" I wince as the loud school bell cuts Abby off, causing her to dramatically roll her eyes. "Anyways she called my mom." Everyone stands up, the screeches of the chairs being pushed back edging it's way to my bones causing me to frown.
"You good?" I jump slightly as Lukes voice appears next to my ear. I hum and nod. "Just tired." He grins and kisses me on the cheek, a gesture that warms me up and paints a faint redness across my cheeks.
"I'll see you later." I wave as he walks away and sigh, making my own way towards class, pleading with my mind to get rid of the already tired feeling. "Hey Oscar wait up." I turn and slow down at the sight of Tyler walking over.
"Are you free tonight?" I raise an eyebrow, not entirely certain I want to know where this conversations leading to.
"Um y-yes, why?"
"It's just... you guys have been together almost a month now and you've still not come to one of Lukes games since. I was wondering if you would maybe come tonight?" I frown. "I've been w-working every time, h-he knows that." Tyler nods and pokes my arm.
"Exactly but this time you're not, so come! Please? I know it would secretly mean a lot to him. Plus, are you telling me you don't want to see your boyfriend all hot and sweaty in his kit?" I feel my face go bright red, my mouth dropping open slightly.
"I- what- well-" he cuts me off with a burst of laughter.
"Seriously, I've seen him train and he looks good. It's those great family genes." Abby scoffs as she walks up beside us.
"The only thing good about your family genes is that it will probably end with you. One Daniels is fruity and the others too dumb to survive until the end of the week." Tyler pouts.
"You're a bitch, you know that right? I sincerely pray for whoever ends up with your ass as their phoenix mate." Abby shrugs as she looks down at her phone. "Anyways, just think about it, okay Oscar? I know it would make his moody ass happy. I've gotta get to class, see you guys later." I give him a small wave as he walks away, my mind still reeling from the conversation.
"Think about what?" I turn to Abby and smile sheepishly. "He um he a-asked me to go t-t-to Lukes game." She squints at me. "That would be nice." I hum, a silence slowly wrapping around us.
"Abby-"
"No."
"Okay."
We get another four steps before she groans. "Fine i'll come, you're like saying no to a tiny puppy or something, that was awful to watch." I smile.
"I d-didn't even ask you a-anything." She grins. "Oh so you don't want me to come to the game with you?" My mouth opens but no words escape.
"Exactly and anyways, I've made you come with me to a bunch of places while I gawk at guys, it's only right I return the favour." I turn and shake my head, trying to ignore how my ears are getting warmer.
"I-i'm not going to g-gawk at him! I ju-just want to support h-him." She hums.
"Whatever you say Ozzie, whatever you say."
