"You guys are acting strange...did you shove a book up your asses before you came to school?" Levina glances between Owen and I suspiciously before biting on the baby carrot being held between her two fingers.

My eyes open wider before thickly swallowing and burrowing my head back into the book I'm reading.

I try to make my self invisible and focus on something else.

"Strange? How are we acting strange?" Owen shyly takes one of her grapes and nervously brings to chew on it.

She narrows her eyes between the two of us.

"Both of you are being strangely quiet...especially you." She points to me abruptly with her pinky.

I glance up to her over the top of my book.

"No." I pull the book down from my face and take off my glasses so I can clean them.  Over and over again with the bottom of my sweater.

At least without the glasses on my face I can't see the look of suspicion on Levina's face.

"And you." She turns to look at Owen who is sitting on the bench next to her.  "You're looking around everywhere and can't stop bouncing your leg." I see him flinch when she kicks his bouncing leg from under the table.

"No.  Everything is fine." I say at the same time Owen says, "Everything is great."

She looks to me, then back to Owen, then back to me, then looks to Owen.

"Okay...weirdos." She says under her breath, popping another carrot into her mouth.

Owen and I aren't really anything...serious.  We just like to kiss.  A lot.

I continue reading the book, letting the words fly over my head.

"So...Luna. Your birthday is in a few days! What do you want?" Levina places her fingers ontop of the book and pulls it down so my face is now showing.

I glance to Owen and then back to Levina. "I don't need anything." I shrug.

I don't like asking for gifts.

"Shut up. What do you want? You're a good person and you deserve to get something for your birthday." She flashes me a toothy grin.

I take a second to think. "Well, I have nothing in mind. I love sweaters, jewelry, and nail polish though. And those cute little antique knickknacks." I love random little items that some would label as "clutter".

Levina eyes twinkle in excitement. "I have the perfect thing." She states before throwing another carrot in her mouth, looking proud.

"What are you gonna get me, shit head?" I smile to Owen.

His head is leaned into his hand, already looking at me.

Today he is wearing a dark green hoodie.

I love green.

"A blade of grass." He gives me a sarcastic smile.

"Thank you." I place my hands over my heart and awe at him jokingly.

"Of course." He grins.

I love when he smiles in any shape or form.  The way two light dimples poke into his cheeks makes my heart flutter is admiration.

"Okay, so after school I'm taking both of you guys ice skating." Levina says casually as she admires her dark red acrylics.

"Today? I have so much homework though." I frown.

"I'll do it for you." Owen suggests, shrugging his shoulders before stealing out of Levina's carrots and popping one into his mouth.

I observe Levina'a face turning to a look of shock.  Her eyes widen as she stares at the side of Owen's head.  She then turns to me and smirks.
