- Time skip - June 20th - Summer time.

*Luna's POV*

"I can't believe we're gonna be graduating soon!" Levina squeals in my ear.

"I know right..." I choke out a sad laugh.

Levina eyes me suspiciously. "Why don't you sound excited?"

I pick at the skin around my nails, anxiety building inside me.

"I...I don't know what to do." I admit.

Her eyebrows pinch together and she tilts her head.  "What do you mean?" I throw a skittle from the small bag in my pocket into my mouth.

"I don't want to go to college, the love of my life is leaving to go to college in New York, and you and Olive are leaving to spend this summer exploring Scotland and shit." My shoulders slump from sadness.

Colombia University offered Owen a full ride scholarship for him to study software engineering.  I love my stupidly smart boyfriend, but I'm gonna miss him.  How am I supposed to only be able to see him on weekends?

"Well...he's only moving a state away, so it won't be too hard for you two to see each other, but I get it, it sucks." She sighs.  "Olive and I are gonna be back in Connecticut though by the end of the summer so don't worry." Her fingers reach out to pat my cheek.

I smile and shake my head while popping another skittle in my mouth.

"Wait...but are there any jobs you're interested in?"

"You're gonna laugh at me..." She will, I know she will.

"I won't, just tell me." Levina nags.

I swallow and take a deep breath.

"A librarian." My voice is low as I nervously scratch the back of my neck.

Levina leans over the console of the car with her ear in my direction.  A small smirk begins to etch on her lips once she realizes what I've said.

"I can totally see you being a librarian. Or just working somewhere with books. It's quiet, a bunch of other book nerds." She snorts.

"Yeah...and I've already done some research on what online classes I have to take to become one." I anxiously chew my thumb nail.

"So why don't you go for it?" She looks at me bewildered.

"I think I'm going to." I anxiously chew on my bottom lip as I stare out the windshield.

"Have you told Owen?"

"No. But I will soon." I nod.

Levina sighs. "Not gonna lie, I'm kinda sad. I'm gonna miss seeing you and Owen everyday."

"Well, we aren't apart yet. How about we hang out tonight. Let's go to New York and just spend the rest of the day there, maybe get some food, walk around." I offer.

Her eyes light up. "Good idea." She smirks and lifts her hand to high five me. I smack her hand.

We're currently in her car because we were gonna go pick up Olive and go to the mall, but things change I guess.
