A Sudden Glimpse

Three days have passed and yet,  I'm still stuck with this freaking paper works. Ang bagal ata pumick up nang utak ko ngayon. Argh! this is so frustrating. I need Cole's help again.

"Sophia? Can you please call Chairman for me? Thank you" Pasuyo ko sa secretary ko. After a minute, dumating din si Cole na may hawak hawak na Ice coffee.

He handed me the cup and said "Any problem Chief?"

I rolled my eyes and mounted 'thanks' to him, pinaupo kona siya at nagsimula na akong magsalita.

"I can't finish this paperwork, hope you can help me....again?" Nahihiya kong sabi and took a sip from the ice coffee. I saw him smirked after I finish my words.

"You seems distracted lately Ryuu, anong meron sayo?" tawa niya.

I picked up some crumpled paper tapos binato yun sakanya. Mang aasar nanaman kasi to, kaya minsan ayaw kong manghingin nang tulong dito sa hayop nato. Yung tipong sasabog na yung ulo mo bago kapa niya tulungan. Minsan talaga mapapa isip ka nalang kung may split personality ba siya o ano.

"Pulutin mo yan. Bilis na! tulungan mona ako. Tutal puro lang naman landi ginagawa mo" Tawa parin siya nang tawa.

He stood up to picked up the crumbled paper tapos nilagay yun sa basurahan. "Tatlong araw monang ginagawa yan di mopa tapos? tapos kung kailan deadline bukas t'ska mo ipapagawa saakin? Lakas mo, sumbong kaya kita kay Dad"

See? Gago talaga.

I didn't waste any second at nilabas ko yung check ko at pinirmahan yun.

"Here, is this enough to treat your girlfriends?" I emphasize the word girlfriends. Inabot niya naman yun at napangisi nang todo. 200k for paperwork, take it or leave it.

"Ayun naman pala e, Wala nang bawian to ah" binulsa niya na 'yun at umupo na. "But...you really seems dictracted lately, is something bothering you?"

I lean back to sit comfortably on my chair. I took a deep breath and stares at him.

"I don't know, Ayaw lang talaga makisama nang utak ko"

3 days from now operation na namin, I'm a bit worried dahil medyo hindi ganoon ka concrete yung plan namin dahil busy parin kaming makakuha nang information tungkol sa target namin.

The whole company is busy for the event also, as the their chief executive I should be the one giving them orders pero ang ending si Cole nanaman dahil hindi ako makapag isip nang maayos.

"Is there any chance na nagsimula 'to noong nakita mo si Matthew na may kasama papuntang-"

"Alam mo minsan talaga masyadong pasmado yang bunganga mo" I cut him off. I know na hindi dahil doon, bakit naman ako ma didistract doon. I already moved on.

Cole sighs loudly. "Alam mo Ryuu. lagi kitang kasama kulang nalang samahan kita sa pag tae mo. Kasama mo akong when that happen and you just started to act really weird after mangyari  yun kaya wag mo nang ideny"

"Stress lang to, kung ano anong iniisip mo" I snapped.

"Stress lang to, nye nye nye"

did he just mocked what i've said? I give him a deatly stares at tumigil naman siya. Akala ko mananahimik na siya nang bigla nanaman siyang nagsalita.

"Look, we both know na may posibility na kasama siya sa party, magkikita at magkikita parin kayo kahit anong magyari Ryuu" he stated. Alam ko but I just hated the fact that he might still despise me after what i've done to him.
