CHAPTER 1
THE LOVE WAS BORN
“The only creatures that are evolved enough to convey pure love are dogs and infants.”
― Johnny Depp
(Third Age, Year: 241, Midsummer’s Day)
Our story in this chapter contains different point of views, it started with the much known wizard Gandalf, the Grey.
While wandering in the valleys as Mithrandir, Gandalf walked all day with no stop, accompanied by no one but his own wooden staff. While he journeyed, he didn’t where to go or what to do, but something or someone made him stopped.
“Mithrandir, follow the stars of the sky. Just follow and you’ll find yourself a place, worthy enough to stay.” The anonymous voice said.
In fact, Gandalf knew it was a woman, but who, was she a vala. The story didn’t tell yet. With no hesitations, the wizard looked up in the sky and saw a trail of bright stars, brighter than the sun for they shone in midday. And so, Gandalf followed.
Right when the trail ended at the brightest star in the trail, Gandalf found himself in a beach, soft breeze, blue sky, sunny day, and a wonderful ocean, Belegaer, the Great Sea. Then he saw a group of elves happily spending their time playing by the coast. A beautiful elf clad in lavender and a golden headdress on her white-gold hair stood at the coastline, closing her eyes while enjoying the fresh air, and was assisted by elven nurse-maids for she carried a delicate child in her womb.
“I greet you, Lady Fëaraen.” Gandalf said.
Fëaraen opened her eyes as a surprised expression formed on her face, “Gandalf, what brings you here?”
“I don’t know, my lady. But someone told me to follow the stars anonymously, and so I am here.”
Fëaraen smiled.
In Lothlorien, Galadriel and Celeborn spend the whole afternoon in their garden, watching their granddaughter, Arwen playing until her father Lord Elrond came with the elves of Rivendell.
Galadriel: Lord Elrond, great salutations to you.
Elrond: Likewise, my lady.
Celeborn: What brings you here?
Elrond: I came here to take my daughter to the west. But it would also be my privilege for you to come.
Celeborn: Tell us, what is there in Belegaer?
Elrond: I know not yet. But a strong air made me feel like going there, something wonderful will happened.
Galadriel: We also noticed it. By the time we went outside, we saw a trail of stars at the distance of west. For us, it was quite a miracle that a single star should shine bright in midday.
