PASSIONATE FEELINGS

When the elven lord and lady of Lorien left, Haldir came to Raenaslee to talk in private.

“Lady Raenaslee, can I talk to you for a moment?” Haldir asked.

“Of course.” Raenaslee nodded.

“I don’t know what I’m going to say but Lady Arwen told me that you like someone.”

Upon hearing this, Raenaslee felt her face turned red and then watched the other fellowship heading to their chambers. Relieve that the others wouldn’t know but shocked when Haldir knew the partial truth.

“Haldir, did she really told you?” Raenaslee asked, whispering.

“Yes.” Haldir answered.

“Oh that girl!” Raenaslee gritted her teeth.

“Oh but don’t Lady Raenaslee, she really didn’t tell me who.” Haldir said, raising his hands.

“What do you mean?”

“Well it started like this.”

(Flashbacks)

Arwen took a visit in Lothlorien two days ago. A moment later, she saw Haldir dressed neatly.

“Haldir, where are you going? And why do you look so irresistible?” she asked.

“Oh nothing, I just wanted to propose to Lady Raenaslee if she could be my wife.”

Very shocked she was, Arwen couldn’t just let her cousin fall for the wrong man because Raenaslee was in love with Legolas, and she was planning to tell him how she felt.

“Haldir, you can’t! I mean she’s already gone now with the fellowship.” Arwen said quickly, hiding their secret.

Haldir: Then I’ll find her. I will propose to her even it kills me.

Arwen: But what if she’ll not accept?

Haldir: I’ll accept the rejection. I’ll accept her as a friend. I’m just trying, you know.

Arwen: (in thoughts) oh if he is going to propose, Legolas will gone mad, Aragorn told me he loves her, and Raenaslee told me she loves him. I must think quickly! (Back to senses) You can’t Haldir!

Haldir: But why, Lady Arwen?

Arwen: Because Raenaslee loves someone, but not you. I can’t tell because it’s our secret.

(End of flashbacks)

“So who really was it, my lady? It’s alright, you could tell me and I will not tell anyone.” Haldir whispered.

Raenaslee walked toward him and whispered, “It is Legolas.”

Haldir’s eyes grew wide saying, “I knew it! By actions I knew it!”

“So is it fine for you if you’re just a friend?” Raenaslee asked rubbing her arm.

“Of course, and I was expecting you to say that, because I could feel something between you both from the very start, yet I cannot say what.” He said, looking at her eyes, “but you must tell him soon Raenaslee, do not wait, for time is moving too fast, or else you’ll be late. And if you tell him, both of you will free at last.”

She thank Haldir for the words he said and she washed up, when she was brushing her sun gold hair, Lady Galadriel came to her room and told her that she was too happy to see her again. When she was done, Lady Galadriel will meet her soon and kissed her cheek. She went downstairs and she finally found the fellowship.
