"Ah, I feel so at home", Kuroo said satisfied and laid down on top of Kenma's back.

"You're heavy", Kenma huffed, still playing his game. Kuroo looked up into the ceiling, hands behind his back.

"Just don't fall asleep, it will kill me." Kuroo laughed, still laying on Kenma.

It had always been like this. Kuroo was always there, right by my side. Friends since early childhood. Even when I tried escaping with my games, Kuroo always dragged me along. Always by my side.

"I'm going to the bathroom", Kenma muttered and dragged himself out of the bed. Kuroo waved after him, still laying in the bed.

This is how he always is, Kenma thought.

This is his normal behaviour. Kenma finished up in the bathroom and went back to his room. Kuroo had fallen asleep on his bed. Kenma sighed and looked down on the guest futon. It didn't look that appealing. He shook his head and got up in the bed next to Kuroo. If he just put himself at the edge of the bed, they would both have some space in between each other. Behind him he could hear Kuroo snore softly. He must've been exhausted from the practice match since he always gave his all.

Kenma closed his eyes and tried falling asleep. Suddenly he feels Kuroo's arms around his waist.

Is he trying to cuddle with me? What is this. Kenma tried getting out of Kuroo's grip without waking him, but Kuroo's grip was too tight.

This is unusual. Even for Kuroo. Kenma stopped trying to fight it. There was no point, Kuroo's grip wasn't loosening. He felt Kuroo snuggle even closer to him. He felt his cheek start burning.

What is this feeling? It is as if my chest was put on fire. But at the same time, it feels so familiar. Kenma suddenly felt tired. His eyelids closed on their own.

Hold me. Just a little longer.

Kuroo woke up, feeling something in his arms. Had he suddenly started hugging his pillow in his sleep? No, his pillow was still laying underneath him. Carefully, he opened his eyes. There was Kenma, snuggling in his arms. Kuroo's cheeks suddenly felt extremely warm. He tried not making any movements.

Why am I cuddling Kenma? Did he make me? Did I grab him? We are in his bed, so I must've fallen asleep. Kuroo's mind was racing, trying to find an explanation. Kenma was still sleeping, clinging to Kuroo's arms. Kuroo tried moving, but Kenma let out a soft moan. Kuroo stopped in his tracks.

What is this. Why are my cheeks burning? It feels as if my chest is going to explode. Kuroo quickly drew one of his arms towards him, hoping it wouldn't wake Kenma. As he did, Kenma rolled away from him, and started falling out of the bed.

"Kenma!" Kuroo yelled as he grabbed Kenma's t-shirt. Kenma's eyes rushed open, fear showing all over his face. Laying halfway outside the bed, Kenma was staring at Kuroo.

"Erhm, good morning", Kuroo shakingly said, dragging Kenma back up by his t-shirt. Kenma quickly moved his gaze down into the bed.

"Good morning", Kenma mumbled before sliding off the bed onto his feet.

"I'm going to the bathroom. Try not falling asleep again." Kuroo took a deep breath. It felt as if he hadn't been able to breathe.

Is he weirded out? Did he know we were cuddling? Or did he just wake up when he fell? Kuroo put his face in his hands. He could feel his heart racing, but he couldn't understand why. Was it because of Kenma almost falling, almost hurting himself? But it had been racing even before that.

I don't get this at all.

They both got dressed and ate breakfast without saying anything. Kenma kept avoiding Kuroo's gaze, staring down into the ground.

He has to be weirded out. Should we just not talk about it? Kenma reached for his phone in his pocket, and Kuroo was about to take it instinctively, but stopped his arm halfway and continued eating. Kenma put his phone back and took another bite of his food.
