Kuroo kept glancing up at the clock. Lunchtime was approaching, and Kuroo was dreading it. It had already been awkward between him and his girlfriend in the morning, he had no idea how it would go down in the lunchtime.

"Psst," Yaku whispered, handing a note back to Kuroo. He looked at the note in confusion before reading it.

-Stop twitching so much, you're being annoying. Kuroo smacked his tongue.

Who does he think he is, Kenma? He shook his head.

The bell rang. Before Yaku could turn around, Kuroo was already out the door. As the corridors got filled with students, Kuroo felt his head spin. He slowly made his way to the bathroom, hoping to not bump into his girlfriend. Finally in a stall, he slid to the floor, head in his hands.

I can't do this. His mind was racing, head filling up with thoughts.

There's no good chance to talk to her. Suddenly his phone started buzzing. He sighed. Of course it was her.

-Hey, where are you?

-I needed to go to the bathroom. He took a deep breath as he sent the message.

I can't hide here for the whole break.

-I am at a bench near your classroom, I'll wait here. He sighed as he stood up. Standing in front of the mirror, he splashed some cold water in his face.

Maybe I'll be able to say something now?

Break was over. As he had gotten to the bench where she had been sitting, a few of her friends had sat down with her to eat. Kuroo knew that if he took her away to talk privately, it would seem suspicious, so he had sat down next to her to eat his lunch. They all seemed busy talking with each other, so Kuroo had just eaten his lunch in silence. As the bell had rung, she had stood up with lots of excitement, but Kuroo had just given her a small wave as he headed for his classroom door. For some reason, her expression had seemed disappointed as she turned around to walk to hers. Kuroo laid his head down on his desk. This had all turned into a mess.

Why did I agree in the first place?
