Kuroo finally got up and went to his locker. Kenma was staring down at his game, still trying to distract himself. As Kuroo started changing, Kenma felt his heart racing.
No, why? This is normal, why is my body reacting like this? Kuroo got changed.
"You coming?" Kuroo asked as he went to the door. Kenma nodded without looking up at him. He didn't want to risk it in case his face was red. They walked in silence all the way to Kenma's home.
Is this going to be the normal now? It being this awkward between us? Kenma shook his head.
If so be it I guess. As long as he's still here. After eating their dinner, they went up to Kenma's room. None of them had said a word since they had been in the clubroom. They ended up standing in the doorway, looking at the bed and guest futon. Kuroo was the first to move. He walked over to the guest futon and laid down as long as he was. Kenma followed lead and jumped into his bed. Still, no one said anything. Kenma was laying like a starfish in his bed. Same was Kuroo on his futon.
This feels weird. Kenma put his hands over his face. He could feel his cheeks starting to blush. This weird feeling wouldn't go away. But it hadn't been there before.
I've never felt like this. Make it stop.

Kuroo kept staring at the ceiling. Kenma had already fallen asleep. Kuroo could hear his heavy breathing from where he was laying. It was getting late, but he couldn't fall asleep. There was also no school the next day, and practice had to be postponed as well. Kuroo got stressed out. A full day of nothing. He checked his phone. Maybe he could get some help figuring what was going on. He checked his contact list.
Bokuto and Akaashi. Of course. He quickly sent a text before he forgot.
-Hey, I know it's late. But would you and Akaashi have time to meet up tomorrow? He put his phone down. No way Bokuto was awake at this hour. He went back to staring at the ceiling. It was the same ceiling he had looked up into for years now. It was familiar, but at the same time it felt so new. Suddenly his phone vibrated.
How is he still awake?
-Why are you awake? Feeling sick? Kuroo sighed.
-I can't sleep. And you didn't answer my question.
-Sorry! We were planning on just walking around town tomorrow, you could join if you want. Kuroo felt a flush of relief through his body.
-Thank you, I need a talk badly. He put his phone away.
Bokuto is probably not the right person to go to for advice, but Akaashi sure is. How was he supposed to escape Kenma, though?
