Dipcifica One-Shots

"Oh my god, Mabel! Just give me the stupid phone!"

It was another regular day, which was good. Dipper still wasn't quite up for monster hunts yet. Soos had brought him in to town to go to the arcade, and the two were just now returning to the Mystery Shack. When Dipper got back, Mabel was on the phone with somebody.

"That's what I've been saying! He's so oblivious sometimes. When he's nervous, he gets a little nauseous too, so expect that." Mabel blabbed to whoever she was talking to "It sucked that what happened at the time did, but there's always time to try again. He really really likes you. You know, back at home, he has this huge crush on a girl named Lauren. She's actually one of my close friends! He's been trying to get her to notice him forever, but so far all he's done is embarrass himself in front of her. Like this one time, he tried to impress her during P.E, but instead he got hit in the face with a basketball and broke his nose!"

Dipper knew Mabel was talking about him. But who was she talking to? Suddenly, he wished that it was Candy or Grenda. But... Grenda didn't have a phone. That left Candy. It better have been Candy or he was going to kill Mabel.
"Mabel... Who are you talking to?"
"Oh, hey bro bro! I'm just on the phone with Pacifica. She called for you, but you weren't home, so now we're chatting."
"Mabel. Give me the phone,"
"Oh come on, Dipper, don't be such a party pooper!"
"Mabel, I asked you to give me the phone."
"You're not my mom, you can't tell me what to do!"
"I'm your brother though."
"Yeah, little brother! Five minutes!"
"Mabel, would you let that go already? So what, it was five stupid minutes."
"Five minutes that made you younger than me."

Dipper bit his lip, starting to worry a bit. Mostly about what Pacifica was hearing from Mabel, and a little bit from him, too. He didn't want to act childish while she was on the phone, but that was usually the way he got Mabel to listen to him. But if he couldn't be immature, he wasn't sure what he was going to do.

On Pacifica's side, she was trying not to laugh as the twins argued. It was pretty funny, to be honest. They never argued like this in front of her, so this was a new experience for her.
"Sorry, Pacifica. Dipper's being a lame dork again," She heard Mabel giggle, and Dipper shouted something at her, but Pacifica couldn't quite hear it. She clamped a hand over her mouth, really trying her best not to throw her head back and laugh to the point of snorting. (An embarrassing habit of hers that happened if she started laughing too hard) "It's fine Mabel. Although, maybe I should hang up and call you guys back later..." She said, managing to collect herself for a moment before going back to her previous positioning. Mabel immediately started denying this. "No, you should totally keep talking to me! This is way too fun, Dipper'll be fine."
"If you're sure, Mabel."
Pacifica heard a little shriek from Mabel as she assumed that Dipper tackled her. Hearing them fight over the phone made her glad that she didn't have a sibling to argue with. Though being an only child was a bit boring, it was also peaceful and calm, and gave her time for plenty of other activities... Which had lately transformed in to spending time with Dipper.

"Pacifica!" She was snapped back in to reality by Dipper practically yelling her name through the phone. "Y-yeah?" She replied, trying to act like she'd been paying attention to everything that was going on the entire time. "I'm really sorry about Mabel..."
"Don't be, it was fun talking to her."
"Don't believe a word she said to you."
"Like the stuff she said about Lauren?" She swore she could hear him blushing through the phone. "If you ever bring any of that up, I swear to Bill Cipher that both you and Mabel are dead to me."
"Aw, why? Scared I'll know of your master plan of getting hit the face with a basketball?"
"Pacifica!"
"Okay, okay." She laughed "I'm done now."
"You better be. So... You want to hang out on Saturday?"
"Always."
